Hotel berhampiran Menara Galata, Istanbul

The location is perfect (if your main goals are Istiklal and/or Galata. Price was also very good and generally everything was ok. But you'd know that reality isn't that bright as you can imagine by checking the photos. Everything is older and not that good looking. Also there is no elevator and your room may be on the 5th floor (but with patio, which size is equal to your very tiny room). I can recommend this place for short stay if your goal is just to sleep and save money for something else.

Месторасположение отеля действительно великолепное, все самые главные исторические места находятся близко, доходили пешком или пару остановок на трамвае. Белье постельное и в комнате чисто, хорошо убираются.Полотенца конечно уже надо заменять, очень застиранные. В номере тепло, есть холодильник, чайник, всё для чая. В номере нет зубной щетки и пасты, берите свою или покупайте на месте. В 5 метрах есть магазин, там всё нужное можно купить. Завтрак средний, но нет молочных продуктов совсем. Есть овощи, сыры, ветчина и колбаса, яйца, омлет, разные салаты. Кофе невкусное, которое из капельной кофемашины. Есть булочки, хлеб и кекс. Наесться можно, но детям особо есть мало что. Я своему ходила за бургерами рядом.Ресепшн хорошо работают, помогают объясняют. В целом можно поставить 4. Немного доработать некоторые моменты и будет просто прекрасно. В целом, если я бы приехала в центр Стамбула, точно приехала бы туда же.

Отель чисто для переночевать норм, потому что очень удобное расположение рядом с Галатской башней. Расположен в тихом закуточке, поэтому по ночам никого не слышно, кроме фонтана, который журчит под окном Ток вай фай грузит через раз и постоянно отрубается, но если вам на нем не работать, а просто что-то загуглить, то пойдет

We had an amazing stay at Castellion Hotel near Galata Tower. The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk to one of the most iconic spots in Istanbul, surrounded by great cafes and атмосфера города. What really made our experience special was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. As a pleasant surprise, they even gave us a free upgrade, which made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. You can really feel that they care about their guests. Definitely a place I would come back to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The hotel is in a dilapidated, sketchy neighbourhood. As a female solo traveller, it feels very scary to travel alone back to the hotel at night, as you will come across groups of men hanging along the street. It’s also ridiculously far from major train stations (15-20 minutes depending on your walking speed) and a lot of uphill climbing, which is a big minus for people who would stay more than 3 nights with more luggage / elderly. My local friend said with this price I could’ve booked a hotel at a more convenient location. The room is clean and has a functional layout. The sound insulation is poor, the first two nights I could hear the neighbour laughing, they were loud but still I had to wear earplugs to sleep. Also traffic noise continued even during late night. The hot water in shower is not very consistent, I had two days of perfectly hot water, and two days of lukewarm water. I was shivering when I went out of the shower. The water tap of the sink is very hard to switch on/off. The sink is big but not much space for putting necessities, which is a bit of an impractical design. As I was travelling alone, they only gave me one room card, which could be inconvenient in some way because if I would like to use the fridge in the room, it would turn off after I left the room. Even though I didn’t use the fridge, it is something to be noticed. I had experience staying in other hotels alone, they always give two cards. While it’s more energy saving this way, it’s inconvenient. The breakfast was alright, just like all other 3/4-star hotel breakfast, there is a variety of food. Staff checked the buffet area quite frequently, and the dining area is comfortable with a lot of light. It also has Turkish tea, which is great. One key event: the door lock was not functioning. After I left the room the second day, I checked if the door is being locked but it didn’t. I was terrified to know that the door lock wasn’t functioning, as I could go inside without a card. I immediately asked the front desk to fix it, and turned out the door lock was just out of battery. However, if I didn’t check the door, my room could’ve been easily broken in. Another thing is after this, I couldn’t find my earrings which were on the table. The coincidence made me think it was a stealing event. While eventually they found them after I checked out and they returned them to me, I could not help but felt frustrated in the meantime as my trust for the hotel was damaged. Despite that might have been just a misunderstanding, the hotel staff, especially Dilan, was very helpful and proactive in handling the event, and she also promised to compensate me, even though they saw no other people entering my room in the surveillance camera and she claimed that no stealing event has happened. Overall, despite all that has happened, I think the hotel is good and quite affordable for a short stay, but there might as well be other better options. l

Room ok, but the blanket too small. There is no basic necessities such as toothbrushe, one time use shower head or ear bud etc. Location is good and accessible (no slope, staircase to reach hotel) located just beside main road.

Отличное местоположение, приятный персонал, в особенности админисиратор Абдула Барман . Были в конце марта, в номере было холодно, но проблема быстро была решена портативным обогревателем. Ежедневная уборка, пополнение будылированной воды, чая, кофе. В номере есть чайник, холодильник, телевизор. Хорошая звукозоляция. Горячая вода была всегда с хорошим напором. Отличные завтраки на террасе, но некоторые позиции солоноваты, например свёкла. Есть возможность оставить вещи на хранение. Рядом с отелем есть обменник с выгодным курсом.

Pangsapuri/hotel yang cantik. Mempunyai keistimewaan menginap selama lima malam dan ia baru sahaja dibuka semuanya serba baru. Tempat yang rapi hanya beberapa jalan dari dataran Taksim. Lokasi tidak buruk tidak mengganggu saya berjalan dalam gelap walaupun orang lain tidak akan berfikiran sama tentang lokasi (jalan gelap dan lama. Jiran sangat sopan dan mesra. Tidak ada masalah berjalan pulang pada pukul 3 pagi. Terima kasih kerana menginap . Akan menempah lagi cx

Пребывание в этом отеле было прекрасным, расположение в менее чем 100 метрах от Галатской башни, неподалеку метро и пристань Каракёй, немного пройти и будет пешеходная улица Истикляль, а также рядом мост через бухту Золотого Рога, с помощью которого можно попасть в район Султанахмет. Приятный, чистый номер, со всем необходимым, убирались и пополняли запасы воды и чая с кофе каждый день. Завтрак проходит на терассе последнего, пятого этажа отеля, отличный выбор шведского стола, на каждого найдётся что-то по вкусу, а также прекрасный вид на город, можно не торопясь завтракать и любоваться. Однозначно рекомендую!

Новый отель, везде чистота, убирают тщательно, постоянно меняют полотенца, белье. Приветливые сотрудники. Терраса на крыше с прекрасными видами. Расположен близко от транспорта и достопримечательностей, но ночью тихо. Еще бы завтрак добавить - и было бы вообще отлично!
