PPengguna TetamuHampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu: Genuine Smiles, Seamless Comfort, and Turkish Warmth After countless nights spent in hotels around the world, it takes something special for a property to truly stand out. My recent stay at the Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu did just that; not through extravagance or grand gestures, but through authentic hospitality and effortless comfort. This is the kind of place that quietly wins you over, one thoughtful interaction at a time. The Perfect Blend of Ease and Energy Location & Setting Zeytinburnu might not be the first name that comes to mind when travelers think of Istanbul, yet this area surprised me. It’s strategically positioned close enough to reach Sultanahmet and Taksim with ease, yet far enough to escape the tourist crowds. The hotel itself feels like an oasis of calm within the city’s heartbeat. Step outside, and you’re minutes from transportation links, local eateries, and the Marmara coastline. Design & Comfort The moment you step into your room, you sense Hilton’s signature attention to detail—simple, modern, and purposeful. My room was bright, immaculate, and well-designed for both rest and work. The bed offered the kind of support that makes long travel days melt away, and everything, from lighting to Wi-Fi, worked exactly as it should. Small touches, like perfectly laundered linens and crisp air quality, added a layer of comfort that felt quietly luxurious. Hospitality That Feels Personal While the property itself is well-maintained, what truly makes this hotel memorable are the people behind the front desk. Fatih Tuna and Ömer are two names I won’t forget anytime soon. Their professionalism is effortless, and their kindness feels completely natural; no rehearsed smiles, no scripted greetings. Whether it was assisting with directions, offering local dining suggestions, or simply greeting guests with warmth that instantly puts you at ease, both Fatih and Ömer demonstrated a level of hospitality that’s rare even among top-tier hotels. They are the kind of hosts who remind you that genuine service can transform an ordinary stay into a meaningful experience. It’s no exaggeration to say that they embody the best of Turkish warmth; courteous, humorous, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast & Shared Spaces Breakfast each morning felt more like a pleasant ritual than a hotel buffet. The spread was abundant and fresh, featuring local cheeses, eggs, fruit, pastries, and strong Turkish tea that was hard to resist. Staff managed the flow smoothly, keeping everything replenished while maintaining the sense of calm that regular travelers quietly crave. The public areas, especially the lobby, were clean, cozy, and inviting. Whether grabbing a quick coffee, catching up on emails, or chatting with staff, the space encouraged connection rather than mere transit. Small Note The only subtle reminder that you’re still in a lively city comes from occasional distant traffic or early-morning sounds from outside. It’s faint and fleeting, more of a whisper than a disturbance. For light sleepers, a higher floor or a room facing inward may be ideal. Lasting Impression What sets Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu apart isn’t luxury, it’s sincerity. In a world full of polished but impersonal hotels, this one manages to feel human. It’s clean, consistent, and comfortable, but more importantly, it feels caring. As someone who not only travels often but also recommends hotels to colleagues and friends across continents, this property easily earns a place among those I’ll be suggesting again. There’s something compelling about how smoothly everything runs here, and it makes you wonder how the experience might evolve across different seasons or longer stays. Because when a hotel makes you curious to return, that’s when you know they’ve done something right.

NNimasherpaaOur recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton was nothing short of extraordinary, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share our experiences. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff set the tone for an unforgettable visit. The property itself is stunning, with a ambiance that’s both elegant and welcoming. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed—everything you could want in a luxury hotel setting. What truly made our stay special, however, were the thoughtful touches provided by housekeeping. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, addressing our needs promptly and anticipate them before they arose. One of the standout features of our stay was how well The Ritz-Carlton catered to families—specifically for our young daughter. From the moment we checked in, we were impressed with the array of toys and activities available for children, which kept her entertained and happy throughout our visit. The kids playroom was excellent. We spent almost 1hrs playing there. It’s clear that the hotel prioritizes making family stays as enjoyable and seamless as possible, and we deeply appreciated their efforts. Our time at The Ritz-Carlton was a combination of luxury, comfort, and attentive service that made it feel like a true home away from home. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is in a dilapidated, sketchy neighbourhood. As a female solo traveller, it feels very scary to travel alone back to the hotel at night, as you will come across groups of men hanging along the street. It’s also ridiculously far from major train stations (15-20 minutes depending on your walking speed) and a lot of uphill climbing, which is a big minus for people who would stay more than 3 nights with more luggage / elderly. My local friend said with this price I could’ve booked a hotel at a more convenient location. The room is clean and has a functional layout. The sound insulation is poor, the first two nights I could hear the neighbour laughing, they were loud but still I had to wear earplugs to sleep. Also traffic noise continued even during late night. The hot water in shower is not very consistent, I had two days of perfectly hot water, and two days of lukewarm water. I was shivering when I went out of the shower. The water tap of the sink is very hard to switch on/off. The sink is big but not much space for putting necessities, which is a bit of an impractical design. As I was travelling alone, they only gave me one room card, which could be inconvenient in some way because if I would like to use the fridge in the room, it would turn off after I left the room. Even though I didn’t use the fridge, it is something to be noticed. I had experience staying in other hotels alone, they always give two cards. While it’s more energy saving this way, it’s inconvenient. The breakfast was alright, just like all other 3/4-star hotel breakfast, there is a variety of food. Staff checked the buffet area quite frequently, and the dining area is comfortable with a lot of light. It also has Turkish tea, which is great. One key event: the door lock was not functioning. After I left the room the second day, I checked if the door is being locked but it didn’t. I was terrified to know that the door lock wasn’t functioning, as I could go inside without a card. I immediately asked the front desk to fix it, and turned out the door lock was just out of battery. However, if I didn’t check the door, my room could’ve been easily broken in. Another thing is after this, I couldn’t find my earrings which were on the table. The coincidence made me think it was a stealing event. While eventually they found them after I checked out and they returned them to me, I could not help but felt frustrated in the meantime as my trust for the hotel was damaged. Despite that might have been just a misunderstanding, the hotel staff, especially Dilan, was very helpful and proactive in handling the event, and she also promised to compensate me, even though they saw no other people entering my room in the surveillance camera and she claimed that no stealing event has happened. Overall, despite all that has happened, I think the hotel is good and quite affordable for a short stay, but there might as well be other better options. l

5550kkThe hotel is extremely clean compared to other 5 star hotels in Turkey. The staff at reception. Together with Staff in the restaurant , concierge and the bell boy were all extremely helpful and polite. Always ready to help. The restaurant dinner and breakfast was absolutely fantastic 👌. The hotel is very well located. It is a 15 minutes walk to Hagia Sofia, Bascillica Cistern, Blue Mosque. 7 mins walk to Grand Bazaar . The interior of the hotel looks magnificent with the old style charm but all newly renovated. I would highly recommended this hotel to stay in Istanbul. 😀😃😄

AArtemit was fantastic weekend. We came for concert, but found this district very cute: a lot of specialty caffès, local cousine, friendly people. Waiter helped us to schedule our last day – we left our bag on reception and went for lovely walk before went to the airport. Place is nice, restaurant on 5th floor where we had a good breakfast, also has a nice view. Will be back ;)

AAkif. My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim . Thank you, Double Tree Regards Akif
