Good hotel location. Big and beautiful room. Though toilet size is small. Poor pressure from rain headshower and no place to hang showerhead above the head. No glass to put toothbrush. No proper place to put clean tower except at below sink which is near to the floor (kinda dirty to put it there). FYI, This hotel only has 1 lift and long queue time especially during breakfast time.
Almost got kicked out of my room (standard room) and changed to economy room by Weingart management due to some events and prolly not enough room for them, eventhough I have booked way early, however, trip.com has assisted me to maintain my room after a long consultation. Big thumbs up by trip.com customer service.
I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying at Karakoy area and wont be facing the same issue as above from their management.

Our stay at The Constantine Hotel was wonderful! 🌟
The location is perfect — everything is within walking distance. The staff were very polite and helpful, always ready to assist.
The only small issue was finding some hair on the towels, but overall the cleanliness and comfort were great.
We will definitely come back to this hotel next time! 🙌

From the moment we stepped in, greated with warmness and kindness and a glass of lemonade ☺️ We were skeptical about the location, but as soon as we reached, we were more than assured.
They were kind enough to accommodate us at every step. The rooms are nicely renovated and clean. They have a small cafe below where you get all types of teas and coffees complimentary (love that). There is a rooftop as well which is great to sit and see the sunset and where you have a nice view of the galata tower. The location is near trams, lively neighbourhood, its easy to get around places from the location and the hotel staff were kind enough to lend us their Istanbulkart as well. Lastly their luggage storage helped us on our domestic travel during our stay in turkey as well.
The only drawback was that there was no restaurant at the hotel itself. So breakfast is something to think about during ur stay. But they recommended a restaurant nearby.
It had been an absolute pleasure to stay here. The location, the service, the hotel rooms, the rooftop, the complimentary drinks and the staff, all were top tier. We loved it to the point where we extended our stay.
Huge shoutout to Majid (“the golden boy” as I’ve heard and have no doubts about), who welcomed us so warmly. Took good care of us during our stay, guided us on spots to go and provided us amazing recommendations. His attention to detail, ability to handle things on the spot and care for each guest is admirable, making sure we were comfortable during our trip.
My mom is a very picky person when comes to hotels, and I am happy to say that she was pleased with the whole arrangement and service the hotel has provided.
The staff are amazing, quick and detail oriented making our stay more memorable. Just as warmly Majid and Hayrullah welcomed us, Utkan warmly sent us off. Kudos to the team!

Best location to be in Istanbul! Near the tourist spots (walking distance). All staff are warm and friendly. Staff is quick to arrange transport to and fro airport, and other destinations. Room: bed was comfortable. Has sofa bed to accommodate my 2 kids. Overall good hotel and definitely would want to come visit Istanbul again and stay in this hotel!

Hotel is in the old area of Istanbul, which makes it very easy to walk around to the main attractions. The rooms are quite small so be prepared to be cramped in. Wouldn’t stay here more than a few days if you have to. The ‘breakfast’ was poor and very basic, and it’s right next to the train line which you can hear very loudly from your room.

The Perfect Blend of Ease and Energy
Location & Setting
Zeytinburnu might not be the first name that comes to mind when travelers think of Istanbul, yet this area surprised me. It’s strategically positioned close enough to reach Sultanahmet and Taksim with ease, yet far enough to escape the tourist crowds. The hotel itself feels like an oasis of calm within the city’s heartbeat. Step outside, and you’re minutes from transportation links, local eateries, and the Marmara coastline.
Design & Comfort
The moment you step into your room, you sense Hilton’s signature attention to detail—simple, modern, and purposeful. My room was bright, immaculate, and well-designed for both rest and work. The bed offered the kind of support that makes long travel days melt away, and everything, from lighting to Wi-Fi, worked exactly as it should. Small touches, like perfectly laundered linens and crisp air quality, added a layer of comfort that felt quietly luxurious.
Hospitality That Feels Personal
While the property itself is well-maintained, what truly makes this hotel memorable are the people behind the front desk. Fatih Tuna and Ömer are two names I won’t forget anytime soon. Their professionalism is effortless, and their kindness feels completely natural; no rehearsed smiles, no scripted greetings.
Whether it was assisting with directions, offering local dining suggestions, or simply greeting guests with warmth that instantly puts you at ease, both Fatih and Ömer demonstrated a level of hospitality that’s rare even among top-tier hotels. They are the kind of hosts who remind you that genuine service can transform an ordinary stay into a meaningful experience.
It’s no exaggeration to say that they embody the best of Turkish warmth; courteous, humorous, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive.

Breakfast each morning felt more like a pleasant ritual than a hotel buffet. The spread was abundant and fresh, featuring local cheeses, eggs, fruit, pastries, and strong Turkish tea that was hard to resist. Staff managed the flow smoothly, keeping everything replenished while maintaining the sense of calm that regular travelers quietly crave.
The public areas, especially the lobby, were clean, cozy, and inviting. Whether grabbing a quick coffee, catching up on emails, or chatting with staff, the space encouraged connection rather than mere transit.
Small Note
The only subtle reminder that you’re still in a lively city comes from occasional distant traffic or early-morning sounds from outside. It’s faint and fleeting, more of a whisper than a disturbance. For light sleepers, a higher floor or a room facing inward may be ideal.
Lasting Impression

Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed—everything you could want in a luxury hotel setting. What truly made our stay special, however, were the thoughtful touches provided by housekeeping. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, addressing our needs promptly and anticipate them before they arose.
One of the standout features of our stay was how well The Ritz-Carlton catered to families—specifically for our young daughter. From the moment we checked in, we were impressed with the array of toys and activities available for children, which kept her entertained and happy throughout our visit. The kids playroom was excellent. We spent almost 1hrs playing there. It’s clear that the hotel prioritizes making family stays as enjoyable and seamless as possible, and we deeply appreciated their efforts.
Our time at The Ritz-Carlton was a combination of luxury, comfort, and attentive service that made it feel like a true home away from home. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

WWill VargheseThe location, hotel facilities, staff and food are top notch!! The actual location of the hotel might be a bit tricky since it’s located on a narrow lane. But access to prime areas in and around Istanbul is such a breeze!! Pretty much every main attraction such as Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica cisterns was just a 10-min walk. Grand Bazaar was only 5-6mins by foot. That’s the convenience you have when staying at this hotel. Will stay again when I visit Istanbul next time ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Yet, my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City genuinely stood out. It’s a property that masterfully combines thoughtful design, polished service, and a location that captures the very essence of Istanbul’s history and rhythm.
An Experience Worth Remembering
Location & Access
Situated in the heart of the city’s historic core, this hotel makes exploration effortless. From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort.
Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort
The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards.
Service & Staff
The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel.
Dining Experience
Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste.
Facilities & Ambience
Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate.
The One Minor Quirk
I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm.
Final Thoughts
What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish.
I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions?
Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned.

AArtemit was fantastic weekend. We came for concert, but found this district very cute: a lot of specialty caffès, local cousine, friendly people.
Waiter helped us to schedule our last day – we left our bag on reception and went for lovely walk before went to the airport.
Place is nice, restaurant on 5th floor where we had a good breakfast, also has a nice view. Will be back ;)

AAkif.My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim .
