Hotel berhampiran Lima Persimpangan, Columbia

My only knock is the water pressure in the shower is lacking. I initially didn't think I would be able to take a shower as the water fell so close to the wall. After turning the hot water up higher than I normally would, the pressure increased enough to make it possible. Aside from that everything was great and the people were all nice that I interacted with. Will book here again when I travel to Columbia again.

The hotel meets expectations, housekeeping is the what makes the hotel. They without fail always are polite, helpful, & don’t have preferences to who they cater to. They seem to all be on the same page as in what needs to be done. The front desk is very helpful, courteous, & friendly. The only bad part is the hotel is pet-friendly for the entire hotel. I would have been impressed or please if there was at least one floor for people that like me are not pet-friendly.

Room picture on website didn't exactly match the room i got. The tv thought it was December 28, 2004 which meant the channel guide was useless (front desk said technician was coming next day).  Our toilet was on and off running most of the night. The TV was off to the right side of the bed as opposed to right in front of it like most hotel rooms.  Buffet breakfast had some odd hot alternatives versus the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage  potatoes.  Overall, just a 3 out of 5.

Highly recommend this downtown Columbia hotel! The location is perfect, with plenty of great restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendly and welcoming service. One of the highlights was the food truck in the lobby, serving up delicious eats that added to the overall experience. Can't wait to come back!

I will start with the good. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfy. Room 128 had no kleenex, clock, hangers or hairdryer. If MainStay is supposed to be like home, this place wasn't! Apparently they are trying to save the earth because the lighting is so dim you will not be reading in the room or applying makeup. Bathroom has a vessel sink which is a pain. There was a bar of soap and nowhere to put it. No plastic cups for brushing your teeth, but instead they have glass tumblers. Dangerous if one of those hits the tile bathroom floor! The web-site advertises free breakfast but there is no such thing. Then take it off of your web-site!

The hotel room itself was nice and spacious. The breakfast was sp**** and the employees were rude except for the front desk clerk. She was very nice but the folks in the breakfast area were rude to everyone and there was barely anything out to eat. We had to ask multiple times for any type of bread to run through the toaster. The eggs were actually a shade of green. I have photos and a video if you need them.

In town for soccer games so picked this hotel due to it being close to the fields we were playing on. We like staying at Hilton and the Tru brand but this was not up to the normal standard. Check-in service was great but the guy working the desk in the morning was not friendly at all - hotel seemed dated but the rooms were fine and typical Tru style. If in town again would pick another hotel - maybe the Home2 Suites down the street. Not terrible but just not great considering all the other options around.

Stayed for drill. Property is in a nice area but us definitely dated. Would consider staying again, but I concur with previous posters; they do have a roach problem

We went out for breakfast about 8:15 no plates, no orange juice, no milk, no toast a couple of muffins and only enough batter for one waffle very disappointing. I had an appointment at the VA later and was expecting breakfast before I went

Wish to compliment Caylen ( not sure of the spelling of her name) who has been friendly and kind to help us with our room bookings. With the new management led by Bob, we've seen lots of improvements too. You guys deserve a round of applause! Keep up the great job and we will certainly come back again.
