The location of the Holiday Inn is excellent. It's situated between Sixth and Seventh Avenue, making it easy to walk to the subway station and Times Square. The hotel rooms are not large but they are clean and tidy, and they come with a safe and a hairdryer. Breakfast is free and includes fruits and juices, as well as bagels, cupcakes, and nut bars. If you're in a hurry, you can also take it to go. The most unforgettable person for me was Ms. Nadine. She helped me get back the passports for me and my family. I forgot to take the passports out of the safe when I checked out, and I only remembered when I was about to leave New York after spending the whole day out. I rushed back to the hotel and, in my panic, I told her the wrong room number. Ms. Nadine was very patient and compassionate; she let me go up with her to check. At that moment I found out I had given her the wrong room number. I am truly very grateful to her. I will stay in the Holiday Inn again.

Scam! Arrived at noon, not able to check in till 3pm,$5 per item to store luggage/laptops. Had 6 items. Check out at 11 flight not till 3pm so another luggage check in so another $30US. Upgraded to family suite,ceiling is cracked,urine around the toilet,bathtub cracked,unreal noise from the streets because widows have holes and we were on 21 floor. View and location is good but I think every corner in NYC has a subway so really don't need that feature. Would NOT recommend this hotel.VOICED my concern with manager so they waved off upgrade fee.

The bed was heavenly — I honestly had the best sleep I’ve had in months. The daily housekeeping was consistent and thorough, and small details like the nightly turndown service and complimentary bottled water made a big difference. **Amenities:** The infinity pool was a highlight — clean, relaxing, and never too crowded. The gym was well-equipped, and the spa treatments were heavenly. We also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and convenient business center. **Dining:** Breakfast was a daily treat! The buffet had everything from fresh tropical fruits and artisan pastries to made-to-order omelets and local delicacies. We dined twice at the in-house restaurant, and both meals were five-star quality — beautifully presented and incredibly flavorful. **Service:** What really sets Manhattan inn apart is the **exceptional service**. Room was really small. Very strong stench of ********* everyday in the walkway from the lift to my room. Also, the AC/heater vent is extremely loud and would buzz all night. Definitely not for light sleepers unless you’re fine with white noise in the background. There are four lifts but they’re really slow and there’s always a long queue for lifts especially during peak hours. You might have to wait 1-3 lifts before it’s your turn. Never seen this at other hotels. Pros were that the TV could connect to Netflix seamlessly. Room had a coffee machine that could double up as a hot kettle. Great Crabtree & Evelyn shower amenities. Room was clean. Reception and housekeeping also rectified issues quickly and were extremely courteous and helpful.

I consider this hotel high value in the expensive Manhattan/Times Square area. A long walk to Central Park with first stop Times Square. Relatively safe outside. Great breakfast buffet and the service was about as good admit gets. Proactive and helpful staff offer service with a smile.

There was roaches :( also, at least on the 7th floor, you can hear like all the road noise, including the wackos in the public park right in front of the hotel and the ambulances streaking down 8th ave at all hours of the night. But, the workers were really kind and let us check in at ~10/11 am free of charge. The proximity to 42nd st metro station and port authority was also very convenient.

Perfect hotel for a solo light traveler. I had an overall good experience at the now NoHo, all staff were brilliant helpful and accommodating. They gave me great suggestions for places to go and eat. The only real “issue” I had while staying there were nosey neighbours as the pod hotel style rooms had open ceilings, aswell as the room size itself being quite cramped. I’m 6”3 and I had 1 full size suitcase as well as a carryon duffle bag and it was quite hard to navigate inside the room with both bags. To be fair it is a pod hotel so the room size being small wasn’t too alarming however I have stayed in pod hotels where there’s more than enough space to manoeuvre a suitcase around. Overall I would recommend this hotel for solo travellers because of the location, staff, and affordability.

We got the king room with a balcony, non Empire State view and it was perfect for a date night out in the city. The garment district has wonderful food options. Tried Tonchin around the block and the ramen was magnificent. Walked from hotel to Times Square, Bryant Park, and Rockefeller. Clean. The balcony provided beautiful views of the Vanderbilt Building. Would stay again. Wasn’t early enough for the breakfast or the evening reception which is 2 complimentary tickets per adult in the room. The AC/Heater worked well. The elevators for us were quick to get to us.

The location is excellent, walking distance to the train station and major sights and close to many subway lines. The room was pretty spacious compared to what you normally find in Manhattan and actually had a clear view out the window (i.e., not right next to another building). It had a safe and a large TV and plenty of hot water. The room was a little worn but the bathroom looked like it had been updated more recently. Breakfast was ok, a good amount of hot and cold food. Good value for money.
