we booked for twin bed and got upgraded for queen and single. The room has huge space that looks recently renovated with complete basic facilities- kettle, fridge, telly. the staffs were friendly and helpful. the location was close to souther cross station with lots of groceries nearby.

Easy check-in and polite staff. Pool was great and the room was a good size and very clean. Excellent location, walking distance to all the sights. We would definitely staff here again.

A very enjoyable stay in an excellent hotel. The reception, housekeeping, and breakfast service staff were very friendly and efficient, and the room was spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and very quiet. The location is also very good, being on the edge of the city centre and only a 5-minute walk from the Skybus airport bus service platforms, Southern Cross Station, and an outlet centre shopping mall. There’s also a Coles supermarket across the road. The continental breakfast was also very good value. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

Overall, very satisfied with the stay. The room I got was pretty spacious. There was CCTV on the room floor and hotel guests can only access the level that they stay. The hotel is also within walking distance/free tram ride from many tourist sights. Would have been better if they have a drinking water refill station.

The hotel is centrally located. You can access to Chinatown and Melbourne Central Station within 10 minutes. The room was cozy and had everything I needed. However, the view was not that good. My window faced right between two buildings. And basically it had no view at all. The other thing was the luggage storage. If you plan to store your luggage after checking out, make sure you collect your luggage back on the ground floor instead of the lobby (2/F) where you dropped your luggage.

Check-in was good and smooth. Really inconvenient as there is no valet parking but this was mentioned on their website and pre-booking information. Room service food was horrible. Apart from the fries, the rest was very bad. I did not make a complaint as I wanted to go to bed and could not be bothered. Breakfast was good, but it is very surprising that they charge me for a coffee when breakfast is included under the package. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, I would say 4 star rating suits much better.

The hotel is run by to most horrific people imaginable.. who have no vision for long term building of wealth. But the fish rots from the head down, so the owners set the tone with a toxic culture that marginalises already vulnerable people. They hotel takes money from an organisation that is supposed to be housing people after a building fire and other people whom are at risk of homelessness. But, the profile the Unison Housing clients and treat them terribly when they check in and impose conditions that are unrealistic, unjust and but those already vulnerable people in danger of eviction from the hotel because they are being subjected to rules no other guests has to follow. The hotel look down on the Unison Housing guests and think they are better than them and treat them as such. Where’s in reality the real criminals are the people running the hotel that will do anything for short term immediate money by not keeping up with maintenance and think that is how you create long term wealth. The washing machines need fixing and are crazy loud. They didn’t supply toilet paper but the smallest amount that would only last a few times going to the toilet. No crockery, cutlery, anything to cock with at all, no toaster because the kitchen power point is so high up it is unusable, so you have to use it on the lounge room floor and if you did use a toaster you could possibly burn the place down. What kind of people take a booking for vulnerable people who have been through an incredibly traumatic event like a fire, impose unreasonable conditions and impose eviction on them for having support people caring for them and then evict them because of this. If this is how you need to make money there is something deeply wrong with the individual. They also have a person tracking the movements of Unison housing guests by having staff sit at the entrance and write down their comings and goings which is incredibly triggering for a woman that had a rapist stalking them. Knowing that information Unison Housing directed the hotel to place someone who had been stalked into an apartment that had been broken into and complied with that request. I will never and could never understand how people could place a vulnerable person with all this trauma into a situation like that and be okey with themselves afterwards and think they are fabulous in their cheap ass shoes. Me the victim, me the vulnerable the at risk of homelessness had better shoes and they look down on me because I had been through a fire and were being housed by Unison Housing who didn’t do a job that was any better. I would never stay at this hotel or any of the other franchises when this is how they conduct themselves.

It’s so cozy that we wish can stay longer! Location is great, Coles is just 5mins away! Free tram at the door step! Receptionist is friendly and nice, allowed for early check in! Thank u so much!

We have stayed at the seasons botanic many times before. That many i cant remember how many times. We recently stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for a boys footy trip for 2 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again. The service was fantastic at check in and our room was ready when we arrived at midday. The hotel lobby hasnt been updated since our first stay in 2009 but it is very clean and comfortable. This probably adds to the nostalgia of our Melbourne trips and why we love staying here. The room is very clean and spacious with a large comfortable couch. The kitchen area is full of everything we needed including a dish washer. The bathroom is very clean albeit dated and out of everything in the hotel, probably requires updating the most. That said everything works fine and certainly didnt impact our stay. The hotel is in a great location with the shrine of remembrance literally across the road and is a breathtaking sight no matter how many times you see it. Walking distance to the MCG, art gallery and southbank/fed square. Only negatives are we required a trundle bed and was abit pricey but was very comfortable. Also sad to see the restaurant is no longer down stairs as was very convienient but once again, didnt deter us all. We had a very enjoyable stay once again and certainly stay again.

The service at the hotel was friendly, but the standard, accepting that it is a low cost hotel was below what I was expecting… all furniture has chips of paint missing and the couch and curtains have noticeable small rips, general discolouration and just a general worn down look. The bathroom and kitchen especially could do with a really deep clean… just some extra attention to washing down walls and nooks and crannies on top of the standard check out wipe over to actually make it appear more than surface clean… It’s really the small things; to provide 5 small bottles of shampoo and not conditioner, (asked the cleaners and they said no conditioner is issued) but claim to provide toiletries… no hairdryer, only 2 towels for one person for 2 nights; to provide a clothes washer but not laundry liquid to wash your clothes… but 6 tablets for the dishwasher? Odd choices that all added to my unwillingness to stay at this hotel again or recommend it. I did enjoy the gym also the locations proximity to Aldi for clothes washing liquid, conditioner, and cleaning wipes so i could feel comfortable sitting in a dirty room..
