Hotel Mountain view di Kunming

Absolutely amazing place and room. Not everyone speaks English but it was easy enough to communicate via wechat with them and the inbuilt translate function. The place is a little hard to find but only because I arrived at 2am and it was dark. But this shouldn’t be an issue if you come at a reasonable daylight hour. The place is also already within the World Horti Expo so you can just head out and explore during your stay. Service was amazing; I have a lot of dietary restrictions and they catered perfectly for it for breakfast, asking exactly what I cannot take and customizing breakfast to be suitable. Loved every second of my stay here and have been recommending it non-stop to my friends who may be going to Kunming.

Hotel ini sangat dekat dengan Taman Yu dan Taman Daguan, hanya beberapa minit berjalan kaki jauhnya. Saya tertarik dengan terapi mangkuk nyanyian sebelum saya pergi! Dan ia benar-benar menakjubkan! Sesi yoga pagi benar-benar memberi tenaga kepada seluruh badan saya, membuatkan saya berasa penuh tenaga sepanjang hari. Our stay in the hotel was great from start to finish. Overall, the hotel is very pretty, clean, and spacious. On top of that, the service is of upmost quality. We have been treated very carefully by the entire team, be it at the breakfast, the reception or the general butler service. Despite the hotel being a bit far away from the city center, our stay was very pleasant. Highly recommend the hotel to anyone who seeks a peaceful and recharging experience.

Hotel is situated near to a railway station and night eateries so won’t be short of choices. Breakfast selection is plentiful and delicious, there is changes of food each day to avoid eating the same food daily. Room is immaculately clean and spacious. I have booked a family room so there are a small kid tent for my child to hide in it. There are cartoon themes which are awesome. Hotel also thoughtfully provided free laundry services for hotel guests who could not be in hotel all day. All it needs is a card on the room and inform the hotel staff who would collect the clothes and place in room. This is something I really appreciate. Lastly the hotel is very well value for money with its new facilities and large room. There is good security with the need to use room card to access the lift.

We had a comfortable stay at Atour with no complaints at all. The staff were genuinely helpful throughout, always happy to assist and quick to sort out anything we needed. They were really nice too, and even gave us rose biscuits on check-out, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was decent, a nice enough start to the day. One fun little extra was the robot that brings your ******* food deliveries up to your room. The laundry service was also great to have. If there’s a wait for the machine, you can just leave your things with a card filled out with your details, and housekeeping will help get it through for you. Once everything’s dry, they bag it all up and leave it ready for you to collect or you can request it to be sent to your room. So convenient and really took the hassle out of it. A comfortable, well-run stay that we’d happily recommend.

這次陪小孩來雲南參加比賽，提前入住了滇池邊的古滇半山温泉酒店，入住體驗很棒！入住期間李啟富副總全程熱情服務，酒店配套服務也很及時，別墅裏有私湯温泉和配套蒸房，還有户外的古滇温泉，是地下2622米的真温泉，牧雲台餐廳早餐品類特別豐富，餐食都可以送到別墅，服務員王春花熱情周到，主動幫忙。酒店還有無邊泳池，山景宜人，性價比高，適合假期放鬆，強烈推薦！

We are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.) Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

The location of Ruibo was so convenient to get to our early morning train at Kunmingnan Station in under 10 minutes. It is also situated right across from a lovely suburban lake with a beautiful path around it. Our family so enjoyed walking around this lake in the afternoon. The air was fresh, there were not so many people that you might encounter in Downtown Kunming, and my daughter found so many dandelions to blow! There are also many lovely and fairly priced restaurants down below the hotel to choose from offering a variety of Yunnan fare. Check in was flawless, and the check in agent was so kind and calm in the lobby. Now let's get to the room!!!! It had a stunning view of the lake, the train stAtion, trains and surrounding mountains. Everything in this brand new room is so well designed. There many nooks and crannies with well situated seats and cupboards. Space is so well thought out. My daughter's favourite seat was the couch incorporated into the windowsill. She could sit there and draw while looking out the window. The loft was awesome for our larger group of 4 people. The upstairs loft has its own bathroom and shower and sink!!! This was so appreciated after weeks of waiting our turns for the single toilet and shower that we found with other loft hotels! Best of all...both bathrooms had smart toilets!!! This was the first of 6 rooms we have stayed in around Yunnan to feature smart toilets. The price of this room was such value for the amenities and facilities we got! I would definitely stay here again, especially if arriving or departing on the southern trains!

The room is pretty decent and big. There's just a bit of noise as the room I got is next to a room being renovated, but it is only during the daytime. The best thing for me aside from the beautiful view, big room, and big bed is the smart toilet (I specifically check for places with bidet for my stays, and this place got a high-tech one). The hotel and cold water are also great. I appreciate that the toilet, sink, and shower are separate. The staff are all kind and helpful. I got an issue with my DiDi account and need to book one for my scheduled tour, and the staff on duty gladly helped me book one paying for it and said I could just settle the payment later, and even escorted me to the DiDi and let the driver know I don't speak the language and to get me safely to the location. The other staff also helped me with my WeChat, which helped a lot during my whole stay in China. The only con that I can say (if you are specific with location) is that it is not that close with the usual tourist spots like the Kunming Old Street, but it is close to the South Railway station (Kunmingnan). This is not a big con for me as I actually enjoyed the nearby malls and alleys. This is one of the good stuff here as well. It is on top of a mall, and just across the place is also a place to go shopping (for clothes, food, restaurants). There's a big supermarket/department store in the next door mall too. It also gets lively at night. Overall, personally, I find this a great place to stay in Kunming.
