The hotel is new and the location is very convenient. The staff attitude was great! Nice breakfast. The room is so spacious and modern, however, the bathroom facilities design could be more private. The bathtub is in the middle of the room and the shower and toilet sliding door only covers one space at a time. It is only suitable for intimate couples. The pool is great but the design is also a little strange; it is located at the entrance of the hotel and visible from the street, the ladder to get into the pool is only accessible through the lobby. When you leave the pool the lobby floor will be wet and potentially hazardous. Anyway, we had a great stay here.

Pertama sekali, persekitaran hotel jauh lebih baik daripada yang saya jangkakan. Harga berbaloi. Kedua, pemilik penginapan, Sister R, adalah sangat baik. Apabila bot itu pulang dari Sungai Yulong, hujan mula turun dengan lebat. Kakak R kebetulan ada berdekatan. Datang dan jemput saya! Dan juga membawa saya satu bulatan besar di Yangshuo. Orang luar Amerika yang sebenar tidak dapat ditemui dan saya cukup bernasib baik kerana berkulit putih pada waktu petang.* Walaupun saya mengembara seorang diri, saya sangat gembira. Video tersebut diambil dan dihantar kepada rakan-rakan untuk merasai persekitaran. Video yang bagus! Bagaimanapun, ia tidak sia-sia! Sangat gembira!

PPengguna TetamuI felt special from the moment I stepped out of my taxi. The customer service is wonderful and attentive. I booked a panoramic room and it was exactly as described…just beautiful. Within walking distance of the quay for river rafting (if you turn left out of the hotel). Breakfast was lovely with a choice of either Chinese or 8 different Western options. I was sad to leave…and even more sad saying goodbye to that bath! Well done to the amazing staff at this small hotel…they really do put the customer experience first!

SSteven D.We would like to say a big thanks to all of the staff at the Tong Resort for our short but memorable stay. From a warm welcome to a fond farewell, Tong Resort gives everything you’d hope for. The hardware was all in good working order, the level of cleanliness was excellent and the service is on par or even better than international-level 5-star hotels such as The Ritz-Carlton. Quite outstanding!
The hotel reached out to me prior to arrival day for check-in and special occasion arrangements. The hotel has a WeChat private service group where all of your requests can be disseminated at ease; with the nature of our trip being a birthday surprise celebration it was rather effective! The hotel offers private car pick-up service from Yangshuo Railway Station or you may also choose Didi. Upon arrival at Tong Resort, we were presented with welcome drinks, invited to be seated and were promptly escorted to our room. You can tell they have placed a lot of thought into the room features and design; they even embroidered the hotel logo into their bed linen.
The hotel offers shuttle car services to and from West Street, this is one of the most famous global streets in China which is a must visit for all Yangshuo travelers. When we arrived back at the hotel, we were spoilt with free late night snacks sent to our room and most importantly the hotel did not forget about the birthday cake which was timely delivered at 00:00.
The breakfast by the swimming pool was scrumptious. There is a choice between Asian and Western and you can select as many items as you wish from the menu which in turn gets freshly prepared for you. The team is doing such a good job; although the hotel has only been opened for 2 years, it seems as though the staff as been trained for over 10 years!
What’s more, after check out whilst we were waiting at the lobby for Didi, a staff member had the attentiveness to place down glasses of water which she had no obligation for doing. What a nice gesture! At the end, essentially it’s these finer touches that sets a hotel from its counterparts.

Service: The service was outstanding and we were well taken care of by 小赵 and 小邓. Both suggested excellent places to visit in Yangshuo. 小邓 took her time to share with us comprehensively about the places of interests in Yangshuo and we took up tour packages from them at a very good price. We were always greeted with similes upon entering the lobby. The lobby also has an excellent tea and free drinks for you to enjoy.
Facilities: There is a washing machine and dryer to use for free with washing detergent provided. The laundry space is huge and even has a TV, tables, chairs and bean bags for you while waiting for your laundry. 小赵 even offered to help move our laundry to the dryer as we were out and about but since the location was so great, we needed to take only a short walk back to the hotel to do so ourselves. FYI, the gym is undergoing renovation...
Location: Location is excellent and right at the start of the Yangshuo West Street. It is also not far away from the touristy places like Ruyi Peak (30mins drive)

Qqueenb_travelsHotel yang menakjubkan dengan lokasi yang hebat! Kakitangan juga sangat mesra. Hotel ini terletak betul-betul di jalan barat yang mana semua aksi adalah pada waktu malam. Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah ia boleh menjadi agak bising pada waktu malam jika anda berada di salah satu bilik dengan pemandangan kerana ia menghadap ke jalan. Terdapat tempat yang disediakan untuk mengambil gambar di atas bumbung dengan pemandangan yang menakjubkan 🤩

DD and YI was very disappointed the swimming pool was drained and no prior noticed. I booked this hotel to go swimming and hence very disappointed with no options or information as I couldn’t swim.
The bathtub stopper was not working and water continuously drained so I couldn’t have a bath.
The one door for either shower or toilet was just weird. Either you shower with door closed or toilet with door closed but not both. 😳
The receptionists were very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was average.

PPrairieTruthfully, I am having time finding words, and that's unusual for me. I must admit I was disappointed when Yangshuo Mountain Retreat cancelled my booking because of a wedding that had booked the place, but the photos of the garden sold me. I've been to Yangshuo perhaps five times over the last 10 years, and have stayed in every kind of place there-from a cheap hostel to the boutique rooms but my dream was to stay at YMR, where I always stop and have a whiskey by the river.
When we pulled into Liqui Town, I realized I had not explored this part of the valley and was disoriented. But then the staff greeted us, carried in our bags, gave us tea, peanuts, and oranges, and set to taking care of our every need. They were this way with us from start to finish-sending us off with a bag of fresh mandarin oranges and hugs-and a promise to send an invoice for our remaining expenses-which we still have not gotten!
Apart from the wonder of just those details, the food was exquisite, our farmhouse room was stylish and simple yet so thoroughly Chinese-in the most real and unassuming way. It was an honor and a pleasure to sip tea in the farmhouse and look at the many woodcut posters and Chinese propaganda songs on the walls while staring up from the tea table to the simply elegant clay tile roof resting on the original beams, feeling the mud bricks breathe out their history silently under a soft rain and the early crows of the neighborhood roosters. I
If one is quiet and still, I believe this little gem will give up her secrets, her history, and the story and true feeling of old-time village life amongst the stunning splatters of karst and water. We enjoyed watching the staff use the traditional well to clean up around the property, and the garden did not disappoint. Truly magical and filled with bonsai that some local master has been enjoying for many years. The food was excellent. We spoke with some Chinese tourists on the way out who were very disappointed with the local version of beer fish, ah but ours was exquisite, along with the drinks and italian food. It's very rare to find this mix of culture, authenticity, generosity, and good service all wrapped into a package that does nearly guarantee the fulfillment of the motto the girls wear on their shirts, ”be inspired....”

KKumaranHOW TO REACH: The local name of this hotel is “Wang Jiang” tower or building. This helps if you are traveling from Yangshuo Railway Station by taxi. I traveled with my friends – 3 families (with kids), and we are non-Chinese. Typically, several taxis are available at the exit of Yangshuo Railway station. Someone approached me who can speak English – so took a 10-seater. The cost is about RMB 20~25/person & takes about 40 minutes.
ROOM: Spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The balcony view helps, depending on which side the room is located on. I chose the front side view, which has both a river view and a mountain view.
HOTEL: Although the hotel doesn’t have a lift, the staff delivered the luggage to the room. If you need help at the time of checkout, they may help. But I did it on my own at the time of check-out. It is conveniently located close to West Street (10 min walk).
HOTEL-RESTAURANT: very good restaurant in 1F (vegetarian options as well!). It is very popular among the locals & we liked it too. But it gets very busy during the weekends. So, if the room is close to 1F, it will be loud till ~ 22:00.
HOTEL STAFF: All are very friendly and do their best to help foreigners. Many staff can speak English. In my case, YAWEN is worth mentioning, as she helped us a lot in planning our local trips. Even before arriving at the hotel, we had a plan. But our interactions with YAWEN (& her feedback) made it very convenient & time-effective for us.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: It is possible to book tickets for the Ruyi scenic spot, Silver Cave, Hot air balloon, Li-river cruise (from Yangshuo), Xinping (hot air balloon), Bus-trip to Longji Ricefields, & many more at the hotel.

Terdapat padang rumput yang luas di hadapan taman tunggal tempat kami tinggal, dan terdapat mata air panas, restoran barat dan kolam renang di seberang padang rumput. Terdapat kolam teratai yang besar di hadapan restoran barat. Anda akan terhidu haruman daun teratai apabila anda berjalan di atas jalan yang terlalu selesa. Apa yang paling mengejutkan saya ialah apabila saya bangun awal pagi, saya melihat beberapa ekor tupai kecil sedang mencari makanan di pokok belakang rumah. Ia begitu comel.
🔔Layanan: Layanan sangat baik, dan pakcik-pakcik di sana sangat bersemangat. Matahari besar ☀️, kami sediakan payung🌂. MmarkCan't complain too much about the quality of furnishings or the level of amenities this hotel offers. Rated as a four star but in reality more like an above average 3 star hotel. No gym or pool. Has a restaurant and advertises breakfast, but in fact doesn't offer breakfast as far as I could determine. Initially booked for two nights (Friday/Saturday) and reservation on Trip.com stated that this included breakfast. However the restaurant on 5th floor was empty and bereft of staff. So no breakfast provided.
Sound insulation isn't the best. Any voices sound like they come from just outside the door, and every door closed does so with a resounding deep thud! Booked double room which is reported to be 22m. Not sure about that- more like 18 or 20m. Stayed during Spring Festival period so roons more expensive than usual. In general, all else about Fanli other than what is mentioned above, iis quite good.
