Hotel berhampiran Albero Monumentale Pioppo Nero, Rome

I stayed in two days, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, the staff is nice and friendly, the breakfast is not varied and does not contain main dishes, the view is beautiful and the balcony is beautiful

We didn't expect it to be that good! The place is great with all facilities you need. The staff is helpful, and the check in and check out was super easy. The room was good and clean. The only con is that the bus from the center of Rome back to hu is often packed with people and late, plus you have to wait for a while on the stop for the next ones to arrive.

We booked this hotel for a three night stay before our cruise. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our corner room had a cute balcony and the décor, furnishings, and vibe is sexy modern. They have a fabulous restaurant where you can grab the breakfast buffet. So many amazing choices. We also had dinner here one night and drinks another. It's tucked away in a very lively and fun neighborhood. Around the corner are tons of restaurants and shops. It's a 6 minute walk to Piazza di Santa Maria where we bought souvenirs, ate gelato and pizza, and hung out with the night crowd. The main street around the corner It's a 35 minute walk to the colosseum and a 45 minute walk to the Vatican. We did each of these on different days. It's definitely centrally located and I would stay here again.

Quando ho perso alcuni oggetti, sono stati anche molto pazienti ad aiutarmi a trovarli. La camera è piuttosto piacevole, in quanto è pulita, ordinata e confortevole. La colazione è adeguata e riempie lo stomaco, ma niente di straordinario. Ogni camera dispone di un balcone, anche se la vista è solo di una strada ordinaria. Il personale di servizio serale è eccellente e mi hanno prontamente aiutato a passare a una nuova stanza. La camera è piuttosto piacevole, in quanto è pulita, ordinata e confortevole. La colazione è adeguata e riempie lo stomaco, ma niente di straordinario. Ogni camera dispone di un balcone, anche se la vista è solo di una strada ordinaria 除了早上大鬍子服務人員除外其他服務人員都很有耐心，晚上的服務員太棒了，第一天房間空調壞了還幫我升級換了一間，東西不見了也很耐心幫我找回。 早上那個大鬍子服務員告知他一些問題只會說NO，觀感不好。 房間還不錯，算乾淨整潔舒服，早餐一般還可以吃飽，每一間都有陽臺但是景觀就是一般街道。 The service staff members, except for the bearded morning employee who lacks patience and responds to some of my inquiries with a curt ”no,” are very patient. The evening service staff is excellent. When the air conditioning in my room broke down on the first day, the evening service staff promptly helped me upgrade to a new room. They were also very patient in assisting me to locate my lost items. The room itself is quite pleasant, being clean, tidy, and comfortable. Breakfast is adequate and filling, but unremarkable. Each room features a balcony, although the view is of an ordinary street

Hotel with reasonable and good service

We booked 2 double rooms in August 2022 for 5 nights in March 2023 using booking.com. As part of the booking process, we registered a credit card on a ”pay at the hotel” basis. 6 days before we were due to arrive, we received an e-mail telling us we had to confirm the credit card details within 24 hours by following a link in the e-mail, with the threat of cancellation if we didn't do so. In years of travelling, we've never come across this before. We tried repeatedly, ended up using 5 different cards (mix of debit/credit cards and of card-providers) and every time it failed with a message saying there was a problem, and to try later. We contacted the bank to confirm the cards weren't at fault, rang booking.com and got them to contact the hotel - we even offered to pay the full amount up-front rather than risk losing the booking. They checked with the hotel and said the hotel were unable to take a payment over the phone, but that the booking was OK. The following day, we received a further e-mail stating the booking was cancelled as we'd failed to confirm the credit card. We rang booking.com again, who - once again - rang the hotel but couldn't get a response. With 5 days before we were due to fly, we went into a desperate search for somewhere to stay. Booking.com offered us a number of alternatives - none were anywhere near as convenient a location (as other reviews have said, it's superb for the main tourist sites), and at higher prices. We ended up finding an AirBnB apartment. Lo and behold, 3 days from flying, we get an e-mail from booking.com stating the hotel had now got 2 ”Superior” rooms available to offer us at £50 per room per night over our original booking price. We declined. So - our conclusion is that - at best, the hotel's admin/systems are flawed (card confirmation process/system is unreliable and they can't/won't accept payment by phone). Or - at worst..... well, you can draw your own conclusion.

Great hotel! Beautiful pool and pool area. Nice clean rooms with good air-conditioning. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel offers free onsite parking, free wifi, and has a new gym area. 10 Minute taxi ride to the center. A great value for your money. We are looking forward to returning soon!

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Staff was really helpful and nice. Location is very good too, very close to Rome Termini station and to Colosseum. However my room was not really taken care of, very old and you can see that has not been maintenaned for a long time. It was very dusty as well. There was only one plug in the room and one in bathroom. There was only a TV, a table and a bed in the room, nothing else. It was ok for a day or a couple but not recommended for longer stay.

The hotel has a certain charm as soon as you walk in. There is no glitz or glamour, just a certain well established feel about the woodwork and decor. Reception were always great, handled things effectively with no fuss. Rooms are basic, but it is a 3 star so don’t expect any more. My bathroom had certainly had a re-fit in the last few years so that was great. Breakfast is a simple buffet, focussed on coffee, croissants, pastries and cold meat / cheese. What’s not to like. Great price for its location.
