I had a great stay at Hotel Soul with my parents. The location is amazing, right in the middle of the central area - everything is walkable! The decor is interesting, kind of Las Vegas design. The staff are friendly, professional and speak English well. My parents room had a faulty heater but the staff moved them to a bigger room nearby without any hassle. Very good value too - my room was huge! Bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Will stay again next time I’m in Suzhou!

By walking along Pingjiang Road, you can easily reach attractions like the Lion Grove Garden, the Humble Administrator's Garden, and the museum. The subway is just four stops away from Suzhou Station and five stops from Suzhou Center (the Big Pants). All the must-visit attractions in Suzhou are within walking distance. The hotel features a minimalist wabi-sabi style with large areas of open space, matched with Venetian blinds, cotton and linen fabrics, making it a great spot for photography.

The staff is very friendly. I forgot a few things after checking out and they were so helpful and helped me send the things to Beijing. The location is perfect. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking from the nearest metro station. Some famous Suzhou gardens and the Pingjiang trip are within walking distance. The room I stayed in was small but very neatly and well organized. The hotel style is very cozy. If you stay here, please do try the hotel's bakery and cafe located on the ground floor. I really love their coffee. I'll definitely stay here if I come to Suzhou again in the future.

這是見過的設施最差的漢庭了，太離譜了！
1. 窗框和玻璃幾乎是分離的，根本都不敢動這窗户，第一次見到這種，維護設備很難麼？
2. 門鎖上後，來回晃蕩出聲，鎖槽比門鎖要大很多？？？！ 感覺像是沒鎖上一般. 如果走廊有動靜 就會帶動這個門來回晃動作響.
3. 淋浴花灑的位置是固定死的，高度衹有兩個選項，角度根本無法調節. 正面淋要麼太低 要麼高過頭頂.麻煩裝一下可調節角度的牆面設計吧，這連普通的小賓館都是必備的，怎麼會有這麼反人類的裝修，何必為難客人呢.
真的是氣到無語，漢庭是以方便商旅的人士為理念做起來的牌子，這哪裡方便了？！其他漢庭真的都蠻好的，就這家奇差無比，難以置信. 如果不是因為當天有事要辦着急安置，當天就該搬走的. 400多的價格，這設施是在跟青旅比誰更落魄嚜？工作人員態度沒有問題，這點沒有不滿意，衹是既然房間差成這樣，這已經不是暇疵的問題了，這是有重大缺陷的房間，是否可以提前跟客人溝通一下，或者check in的時候提前告知一聲. 起碼客人也有心理準備吧.

The hotel was nice enough to let us receive the room a couple of hours earlier without any additional fee. The room was clean and comfy (although sometimes you still can smell smoking from other guests), the hotel was located right next to Chayuanchang station (very easy to get to Tongli and Zhouzhuang ancient towns by subway) and streets with shopping malls and food stores, extremely convenient. The staffs cannot speaking English but very helpful to use translator and even order dinner for us. Will definitely stay there again if I visit Suzhou. Thanks again to all the staffs there for my wonderful experience.

It is well-located and has a nice infrastructure, but it looks like they are not taking care of the details anymore, so the door of the bathroom didn't work, the kitchen started getting rusty, and the bathroom walls look like they're dirty. Has potential but needs more love.

RRuthWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂
The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally.
For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁
Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.

YYTZ23We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with our 10 month old during Golden Week.
Pros:
- Hotel is self-contained and there is no need to leave the hotel. There are large and well-maintained grounds for our daily walks with baby, including museums and traditional pagodas dotted throughout the property. There is a chinese, western (steak, pizza) and japanese (teppanyaki) restaurant within the hotel. There is also a kids play room and swimming pool, along with some other kid friendly activities like rabbit feeding and games on the lawn.
- The hotel is right next to the lake and is quite beautiful. It's very relaxing to stroll along the lake.
- There is an ancient town about 15 minutes walk from the hotel's main lobby. There is a free hotel shuttle to and from the ancient town too.
- Staff are generally friendly and helpful
- Large, family-friendly rooms are available. We stayed in a lake view suite, which was just right for us and our baby.
- Hotel is affordable by international standards
- Hotel is less than 2 hours drive from Shanghai, where we live
- We particularly enjoyed the teppenyaki restaurant where you can get a private room and a private chef to cook your meals
- Despite it being Golden Week, we didn't feel that the hotel was too crowded. Perhaps because the hotel has large grounds.
Cons
- The baby cot given to us had an extremely thin and uncomfortable mattress. To compensate, we were given a comforter to pad the mattress. However, this is unsafe for younger babies, who should sleep on a firm surface.
- The property and facilities are a bit dated
- There were very loud weddings on the lawn facing the lake each day that we were at the hotel. The loud music and emceeing disturbed the peaceful ambience of the place, and also disrupted baby's morning and afternoon naps. For families with children who still need to nap in the day, it may be better to stay in a quieter garden view room instead of a room facing the lake.

Semasa Suzhou W Hotel mula-mula dibuka, saya sudah pernah menginap di sana sebagai pengembara perniagaan yang kerap dan tidak menikmati banyak perkhidmatan.
Ini adalah kali kedua saya mendaftar masuk. Apabila saya mendaftar masuk pada pukul 5 petang, ia juga sangat cepat di sebelah saya hotel jenama di tanah besar China kini mempunyai perkhidmatan ini.
Pembantu rumah hotel ini ialah seorang gadis bernama ”Yuxin”. Selepas mendaftar masuk, ”Yuxin” akan membawa saya ke lobi hotel, dan kemudian dia membantu saya membawa bagasi saya kerana bagasi saya agak berat, saya malu seorang gadis, jadi saya segera mengambil beg pakaian itu ke belakang😅 dan memberi saya dua minuman selamat datang.
Bilik itu sangat kemas pada pukul sembilan, dan keperluan harian tambahan / tuala mandi besar yang saya perlukan dihantar dengan sangat cepat (sesetengah hotel sangat lambat membersihkannya apabila dia datang saya melihat bahawa dia sangat serius tentang pembasmian kuman dan pembersihan, dan ia menunjukkan dengan jelas. Dan sangat sopan.
Melewati lobi keesokan paginya, pembantu rumah hotel ”Yu Xin” juga mengingati saya dan bertanya khabar kepada saya. Saya menghargai tingkah laku yang sangat sopan ini.

Ini benar-benar perlu dikatakan tiga kali Kekayaan sarapan boleh digambarkan sebagai bufet.
Saya telah bersarapan di banyak hotel jenama besar, tetapi saya tidak pernah melihatnya dibesar-besarkan oleh W Hotel Hanya makanan ringkas seperti [bubur], anda sebenarnya boleh mempunyai empat perisa untuk dipilih😱Saya benar-benar menulis (perkhidmatan) ini. Kata-kata... Terdapat banyak jenis ***a makanan lain, dan terdapat juga ”pastri asli istimewa” dari Shanghai dan Suzhou, dan kek dan pastri ***a Barat, yang juga kegemaran saya kek dan rotinya sangat lazat. Saya telah menginap di begitu banyak hotel, dan ini adalah satu-satunya yang saya boleh tulis ulasan dan memuji sarapannya👍🏼

1～Satu-satunya peralatan hiburan [TV]🤦🏻♂️Ini benar-benar memeningkan kepala. Semua saluran di dalamnya sangat lama, dan filem di saluran filem itu sangat usang sehingga saya mungkin tidak dilahirkan juga (filem yang sangat kuno. menara)
2~ Bantal-bantal di hotel itu hendaklah dibuat dari bawah Ia sangat mengenyangkan apabila dipecahkan, tetapi secara beransur-ansur ia bocor dan seluruh bantal itu runtuh, seolah-olah tidak ada bantal langsung. biasanya terdapat dua hingga tiga pilihan bantal dalam saiz dan ketebalan. Selain itu, beberapa hotel jenama besar akan mempunyai ”menu bantal” untuk tetamu memilih (material) (ketebalan) bantal.
Bangun keesokan paginya, leher saya rasa macam nak patah, sakit belakang dan tulang akibat tidur🤦🏻♂️
Apabila pembantu rumah hotel ”Yuxin” menyambut saya di WeChat, saya juga memberitahunya tentang perkara ini, dan dia berjanji untuk melaporkan pendapat saya kepada pengurusan hotel bagi pihak saya.
Dan saya bertanya kepadanya beberapa perkara yang tidak berbahaya (contohnya: Bianzhong tangerine lebih sedap😅) dan dia menjawab saya dengan sangat serius👍🏼dan patut mendapat pujian👍🏼

Terdapat debu yang jelas di tingkap dan telefon di dalam bilik, dan terdapat sisa noda pada hidangan bufet masing-masing. 4. Persekitaran hotel sebenarnya tidak dapat dikatakan, pemandangan, gaya hiasan dan kemudahan perkakasan semuanya baik. 5. Keistimewaan hotel ini adalah kolam renang air panas. Ibu bapa yang bimbang anak-anak mereka akan kedinginan di kolam renang suhu normal pada musim luruh boleh membawa anak-anak mereka bermain di kolam renang air panas, dan anak-anak suka mainan. 6. Tidak banyak kemudahan taman hiburan dalaman untuk kanak-kanak, jadi anda boleh menambahkannya lagi.

RRobsterNot knowing Suzhou at all, I thought I had chosen a hotel to suit my needs for exploring the history whilst still being near the modern. This hotel is ideal for both. With a metro station (line 3) Shajinqiao, within a 10 minute walk, literally, just round the corner, and a taxi ride to either end of where I wanted to be costing me under 30RMB, this was an absolute gem of a find.
On arrival, the staff were very good and extremely helpful. I was checked in without any fuss, with the usual pandemic checks, travel codes, health codes and I showed both 48hr and 24hr covid tests.
The room was cosy, with excellent air-conditioning, a very comfortable bed and very clean. The toilet was intelligent, electronic and quite a novelty. It even warmed my posterior whilst sitting on it!
The hotel provides a kettle and 2 free bottles of water daily though there may at one time have been a mini fridge, it was not there on this visit. Breakfast is served at reasonable times with the last orders being done 10:30am. (11 am at weekends). It is a decent spread, predominantly Chinese food, rice, vegetables, meats with cooked-to-order eggs, porridge (Chinese rice style) and a cold buffet. There are delicious pastries, toast and fruit. Tea and coffee are available along with a varied selection of fruit juices. The restaurant is airy, bright and clean. Plenty of seating is available.
Room lighting was bright and cheerful but could be set to 'mood' which dimmed and made for a more intimate atmosphere.
On Didi App, the hotel does not come under Atour Hotel. You will need to search for Yi He Cha Can Yin Guan Li You Xian Gong Si.
At the time of writing, Suzhou was low risk. However, the recommendation was for Suzhou citizens not to travel and if they had to, to show a 48hr covid test. I had a bit of trouble with getting the app to work and thanks very much, eternal gratitude, to the wonderfully patient and supportive reception staff who all contributed, made phone calls and tried their best to get the app to work. Eventually, we succeeded. That is service and that was fantastic.

EElena from ChinaI was surprised this hotel was pretty good for its money. High floor, no noise, inside living complex, clean. I stayed 1 night, but it's possible to live there for a couple of weeks, there is a kitchen with all the necessary things, bath tube, living room, bedroom in the apar**ent.
They gave me a room without disgusting smoke smell. Not sure if all their rooms are non smoking, just it's so hard in China to get a REAL non smoking rooms, most of the hotels just pretend they have them.
Will definitely stay there again.
