DON’T BE TRICKED LIKE I WAS The listing says it is a 6 minute drive from Chinggis Khan airport, but it in fact is a 30 minute drive. It is very close to the OLD airport which is not in use anymore. They offer free airport pickup, but we stayed the night before our flight so we did not need pickup, we needed drop off. Even though we didn’t use the free pickup service, we still had to pay $25 USD for airport dropoff. I had emailed the property twice during the week leading up to our stay to ask about drop off service and never got a reply. Also, there is a lack of communication between the staff- When we arrived at the property we had to call 3 times before they finally came to meet us to get our bags, then there was confusion about what room we were supposed to get and we were taken to 3 different rooms before it was the right one. The second one we had already settled in and had a shower before they came and told us it was the wrong room. We didn’t have a car so we walked around the area to find food and there were little to no restaurants, and only a couple of very small markets, so we ended up having to order food from the property restaurant. Every room is different as we discovered from being taken to 3 different rooms. They are verrrry spacious but some are definitely in better condition than others. Fortunately our final room was the best, however there was a kitchen stocked with pots, pans, rice cooker, cook top, plates, but no silverware, no microwave, and no refrigerator. Why would you have a kitchen area and not have a refrigerator and silverware? There also was a washer in unit but no dryer. We didn’t have time to wait for our clothes to air dry during our one night stay so that was also useless. Overall, it was a cheap stay but you get what you pay for.

Great location friendly staff and a clean and tidy room. I was always greeted by friendly helpful staff each day The rooms are safe in a relatively quiet location but close to the centre of the City. If you are here on business or pleasure a simple fuss free stay be it business or pleasure. If I have the good fortune to come back I will stay here again and certainly recommend it

Per me va benissimo negli standard hotel europei a costo accettabile...purtroppo è non condizionatonovvero usano dei condizionatori mobili e quindi in piena estate può essere un problema. Per il resto molto decoroso, luminoso, non puzza, moquette scura che sembra pukita. La colazione è modesta ma dovunque a meno di spendere moltissimo di più. Personale e direttore gentile. Caffetteria non gestito dall'hotel a piano terra molto carina e posto di incontro per giovani e piccole riunioni di lavoro

Отель абсолютно не оправдывает свои 4 звёзды. Три и то с натяжкой. Ковровое покрытие в номере в ужасном состоянии, все в пятнах. Тюль на окнах, которая, когда, то была белая - серого цвета. Номер маленький даже на одного человека, хотя заявлен как двухместный за 85$ Не особо приветливый персонал, безучастно относящийся к просьбам и отвечающий дежурными фразами. ОЧЕНЬ НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ. Рядом в центре Улан-Батор, можно найти гораздо лучше и дешевле

I stayed at Edelweiss for a total of 7 nights as a solo traveler. It is considered centrally location but it is actually a little west of central, still a great location. Because of the traffic congestion, walking is the best way to get around (I averaged 2-9 miles a day). The rooms were clean, 2 bottles of water provided daily. The reception and housekeeping staff very nice, always available. The restaurant cafe is run by a different company/owner. It feels like a lounge and is nice place to hang out with glass of wine after long day touring. It is also popular with locals. It was closed on Sunday. The pasta dish & pizza were excellent. The complimentary breakfast buffet included tea & coffee (with warm milk for your coffee), juice drink, a very yummy cold oatmeal concoction with apples, yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs with meat to order. The breakfast coffee was subpar, but the restaurant served a great cappuccino (approx US $2.332). I didn't see an elevator; all rooms are on the 2nd & 3rd level. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the art on the wall is for sell. Just 1-2 blocks west are two restaurants that I highly recommend: Italian restaurant Albero's (on the east side of the Mika Hotel) and Lonsdale Art Lounge. There is no airport transfer service. I took a shuttle from airport for US$10.00. For my return to airport, it cost me $20.00. Allow minimum 1 hour. The street names in UB are confusing with poor signage. I consider the hotel to be on Embassy Rd., not Chin Van whatever Street.
