I really loved the simple and elegant decor of the room. The owner, an auntie, was incredibly warm and friendly! I'd give her a perfect 100! I stayed in the 'Xiao Man' room, which was newly renovated and really nice, plus it had smart home features throughout. The cleanliness was spotless, making my stay incredibly reassuring. The air conditioning was cool, and I slept soundly all night. The next day when we were leaving, we forgot something, and the auntie actually reminded us herself. I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again next time!!! This area is also a lot of fun, I highly recommend everyone to come and visit!!

Over the past few years, I've enjoyed coming to Yichun for the selenium-rich hot spring waters. A friend recommended this hotel to me. Although it's an older property, the staff are quite prompt in resolving issues. I stayed in a room with a private hot spring tub, which was great for immediate soaking and relaxation – a really thoughtful design. The bathroom even had amenities like body lotion. It's peak season now, and the hotel is almost fully booked. The hotel's location is excellent, right on the edge of Wentang Town and quite close to the Tourist Service Center. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for future stays.

First of all, the location is very convenient. The hotel is situated near Xiejiacun Metro Station, which makes it extremely easy to travel around the city. Within just a few stops, you can reach major landmarks such as Bayi Square, Tengwang Pavilion, and the Gan River. The Hengmao Dream Times shopping complex is also nearby, offering a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. This combination of metro access and entertainment options makes the hotel an excellent base for exploring Nanchang. The hotel itself feels new and well maintained. The lobby is welcoming and efficient, and check-in was smooth and straightforward. The staff members were friendly and professional, and although their English ability was limited, they tried their best to assist, and translation apps worked fine. I appreciated their polite attitude and willingness to help with directions and local advice. My room was clean, bright, and modern. The design is simple but stylish, with comfortable bedding and practical furniture. The bed was large and supportive, with fresh linens and soft pillows that made for a good night’s sleep. The room also had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a small desk area, which was helpful for doing some work during my stay. Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which is essential for travelers who need to stay connected. The bathroom was also very good—compact but functional, with a nice shower, clean towels, and basic toiletries provided. Everything worked well, and hot water was consistent. Housekeeping did a good job in keeping the room tidy and replenishing supplies. One of the highlights for me was the quiet environment. Even though the hotel is in a lively district, the rooms are well-insulated, and I was able to rest comfortably without noise disturbances. This made a big difference after long days of exploring the city. If I had to mention a small drawback, it would be that the hotel does not have many luxury amenities like a gym, pool, or large restaurant. However, for the price and location, it offers exactly what most travelers need: a safe, clean, and comfortable place to stay with reliable service. Definitely not a 7-star hotel, more like a 4-star at best. I got bitten by mosquitoes. The breakfast was disappointing, lacking any meat dishes, and nowhere near as good as the Xiangjiang Wenhua Hotel. Their restaurant is on the top floor with great views and a wide variety of food, whereas here, only the Cantonese steamed buns and chicken feet were decent. Parking was convenient. I appreciate that the hotel provided facial cleanser, toner, and mouthwash. However, the tea box had a lot of tea dust and very little tea.

It's only a few minutes' drive from the scenic area, and the owner provides complimentary shuttle service, making getting around super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with a cozy layout, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, fully stocked with toiletries – every detail was well thought out. The owners were incredibly warm and hospitable, genuinely welcoming us with fresh fruit upon arrival and offering thoughtful recommendations for local eateries. Tucked away in the mountains, the guesthouse boasts a tranquil and quiet environment, free from traffic noise, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring. With excellent facilities, convenient parking, and an affordable price, it's perfect for families or friends traveling together, and an outstanding choice for accommodation when visiting Wangxian Valley.

I want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle. My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating. The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems. We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints. The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket. Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view. We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat. Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together. The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them. The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them. The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

Wangxian Valley is an artificial, internet-famous scenic spot with a great ambiance. The hotel's hardware facilities are generally decent, but the overall service experience has significant room for improvement. The scenic area attracts a large crowd, and while staff members are visibly providing service, it's difficult for them to be truly attentive and thorough. The overall management appears somewhat chaotic. Showtimes and attraction information provided on the scenic area's mini-program and paper maps often differed from the actual on-site situation due to outdated information. This led to a lot of detours during my visit, significantly reducing the efficiency of my sightseeing. The scenic area primarily focuses on Instagrammable photo spots, lacking any introduction to Wangxian Valley's history and culture. There's also no dedicated information or guide desk for in-depth explanations. Visitors are left to explore and check off attractions on their own, missing out on a deeper cultural understanding. The service staff's quality varies, with many being interns who lack sufficient work experience. As a solo female traveler, the hotel did not proactively contact me with the specific check-in address after I booked. I had to call them to get the relevant information. When assigning my room, they didn't consider my solo travel situation and placed me in a building quite far from the central area. Although I requested a room change, there were no closer options available. While it was changed, it wasn't ideal. Despite the overall disappointing experience, I want to extend a special thank you to two staff members: the 17-year-old front desk associate, number 36, who was genuinely sincere and enthusiastic. He provided me with a lot of practical help and much-needed encouragement, which was incredibly heartwarming. Also, my butler, Xiao Meng, was very helpful. I hope the scenic area can optimize its information update mechanisms, strengthen staff training, and improve accommodation arrangements for solo travelers. I look forward to a better experience next time.
