Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

Communication was excellent. They created a WeChat group chat with the concierge, which made it very easy to ask questions and schedule services at any time. They also picked us up from our previous hotel, and the car was spacious and very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and both of our rooms looked exactly like the pictures. The property has multiple buildings. We stayed in Building 8, while the main area is in Building 2 but transportation between buildings was easy, and it was also only about a 5-minute walk. Our family especially loved the free 30-minute photo shoot. It’s a very “instagram” place with lots of photos ops but the views were absolutely breathtaking. I recommend this place!

We travelled to DongXing as a family of 4 and stay at the best available hotel here. This is by far the best DongXing has to offer. The rooms is very spacious and clean. This is the 2nd time we had stayed at Ramada Plaza. The location is perfect for travel over to Vietnam as its only a couple of mins walk away. And a big plus as we're right by the main shopping area of DongXing. Lots of cuisines to choose from and fantastic value for money. Will be back sometime in the next couple of yrs with visa ready to cross over to Japan. A final note is the view from our rooms. Vietnam right on the other side.

Awesome stay with Gangshe! Didi stopped just few steps away and check in was fuss-free. Staff helped to lug one of my luggage to our room. Everything was provided in the room, and what stunned me was the full glass window with beautiful unblocked view of the mountains. Breakfast is at level9 with mostly chinese food and cereals, salads. This restaurant serve awesome Guilin specialties in the night, they are so delicious. Anyone here must try. The restaurant links direct to guest level as well. With an outdoor dining and wonderful view. Gangshe is also located conveniently at the heart of the walking street, and walking distance to some main attractions. Will definitely recommend.

The service provided by the staffs at the reception is excellent. The best services I have ever encountered during my past 20 years travelling around many countries. For instance when I inform them that there is cigarette smell in the air conditioning, the staff immediately brought an air purifier to my room, that was around midnight. The next day the hotel staff arrange the technician to wash the air filter of the aircon.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff. All of them are so friendly. One of them even sent my friend and I to our room personally and helped me lug my luggage. The room was so spacious, the mattress was comfortable and I enjoyed good sleep for my 3 nights stay. For breakfast, they provide western and local selection. The vermicelli served was very delicious. On the day we checked out, Lily sent my friend and I to the waiting area to wait for our cab to bring us to the high speed train station. I highly recommend this hotel as it is near the sun and moon pagoda and elephant trunk hill. All are just within 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The food street and pedestrian street is less than 10 minutes walk form the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Place Liuzhou, and let me tell you, their in-room steak dinner was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It was honestly one of the best steak meals I've ever had, and the fact that I got to enjoy it in the comfort of my own hotel room made it even better! The room itself was spacious, clean, and modern, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel's location was convenient for exploring Liuzhou. But that steak... wow! If you're a steak lover like me, do NOT miss the opportunity to try it during your stay!

Good hotel. Breakfast had less desirable western options than in the past but still pretty good. Nice swimming pool and smaller shallow pool for kids. Hotel room was clean and they delivered a small fruit plate for free. Area by the river is quite nice and there is a park directly behind the hotel.

Great hotel. Maybe nicest in Liuzhou. Highly recommend. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable room.

I loved this hotel! The staff was incredibly helpful, they immediately reached out to me upon booking and helped me book a cruise to Yangshuo. The rooms are very clean and functional, there’s even a faucet with cold drinking water right in your room - a true luxury when traveling in China. I loved my stay here, it’s a little further away from the main attractions so it’s quiet enough at night but you can easily walk everywhere at the same time. You can also get free coffee and tea downstairs. I highly recommend staying here. However, there’s no need to book a room with a view as I did, since the hotel faces a not so quiet street and it will be a little loud to sleep at night. Highly recommend to visit the night street food market and Diecai Shan in Guilin!
