Out of all my travels in China, this was hands down the BEST hotel I’ve stayed at—and that’s saying a lot. From the moment we arrived, the level of warmth and genuine care from every single staff member stood out immediately. The front desk team was incredible—friendly, patient, and impressively multilingual, which made everything so much easier since my Chinese is limited. But what really made this place unforgettable were the people behind the scenes. The aunties who cleaned our rooms were honestly some of the kindest, most thoughtful people we encountered on our trip. They didn’t just do their job—they went above and beyond in ways that made us feel truly cared for. The kitchen staff were just as amazing. Every interaction felt warm and sincere. They even folded our laundry when we accidentally keft it in the dryer. And let’s talk about the breakfast—phenomenal. Not only was the quality outstanding, but the menu changed daily, which kept things exciting. If you’re debating whether to add breakfast to your stay… just do it. The overall vibe of the hotel is serene, peaceful, and elevated—it genuinely feels like a 5-star experience. And it always smells nice. Location-wise? 10/10. You’re within walking distance of many of Guilin’s main attractions, and right outside the entrance is a lively night market and shopping area. It’s the kind of convenience you don’t fully appreciate until you have it. I was booking for my family, which included three seniors, so my priorities for hotels were: location, cleanliness, safety, and accessibility. This hotel checked every single box—and then exceeded expectations in ways I didn’t even anticipate. If you’re considering where to stay in Guilin, pick this one 10/10. This is a genuine review written from someone who just stayed there and was traveling with her family from California :)

The hotel room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable with soft linens, perfect for a good night’s rest after a long day. The room had decent lighting, quiet air conditioning, and all basic amenities including hot water, toiletries, and free Wi-Fi that worked smoothly. The space was tidy, with enough storage and a small seating area to relax. The bathroom was modern. The mountain views was spectacular. Overall, it’s great value for money, comfortable, and I would happily book this room again.

Best location in Wuzhou. Very beautiful hotel with lots of marble. Nice dinner buffett. Also many good restaurants on the side street of the hotel. Good prices

The view was awesome as shown on picture. Room size was sensible. The front desk lady has helped quite a bit in liaising with the local tour agent, but the tour leaflet on desk was quite misleading (with/ without bamboo raft) and lead to mismatch in expectation and also due to language. Suggest the leaflet to be very clear and detailed of items and attractions included.

this hotel has a great view! Even the lobby is aesthetic and the staffs are super helpful and friendly.. they even help us to book the romantic show attraction tickets and even provide a private car for us to the venue without a nadditional charge. The room also very very clean and comfortable. Even though this hotel is not located nearby the west street area but it offer exclusivity and peaceful stay for you. Really had a great stay and worth every penny. Things to improve maybe the breakfast. Would be better if have more variety of dishes 😄

Very good hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and has all the equipment you need. Also there is free tea and coffee served by the hotel which is super nice. The staff can also speak english which is super nice for non-chinese speakers. I would say 10/10. Would definitely come back!

Friendly people and helpful. Clean and spacious room. W e booked for 1 night and after extended 1 more. They offer to us upgrade room with nice view. Breakfast is ok. The only thing will be to add more fruits. The location is perfect as there are all the activities walking distance from the hotel. After the first day of activities, we reached the room really tired and the receptionist saw and offered foot bath tea herbs for free. We really enjoyed it! Thank you! ☺️

I had a truly unforgettable stay here! The staff is incredibly responsive and attentive. A huge shout out to our butler, Mayling Cindy, and our photographer, Xiao Zeng—you both were amazing! Also, it was so sweet of the team to keep me stocked up with drinkable water over the last two days; such a thoughtful gesture! 💧 The desserts were also a highlight, especially the one I had yesterday (absolutely delicious, though I feel bad for not being able to finish both! 😅). But honestly, the room and the view are just on another level—literally breathtaking and beyond words. It’s been so hard to ‘move on’ from this experience! It was a good hotel with all the facilities. Specially the best thing about it is the location. It's very convenient to move around and all the scenic places are just by walking distance.Breakfast buffet has reasonable variety of food to fulfill everyone, s need.

Located opposite a pretty lake, nice for a walk, the hotel is good for leisure and business travellers. The rooms are large and well equipped. The shower was particularly nice and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is very clean. Fortunately I was with my Chinese speaking partner otherwise check in may have been a longer process. The breakfast was also fine but more orientated to local audience - albeit there is bread, fruit, eggs. Coffee at breakfast is not so good.
