A very lovely hotel in chur. Nice hotel, our room was mountain view, room spacious, hotel connected to shopping mall. The receptionist lady was very friendly and kind too. Wish we had more time to stay longer in chur and this hotel. Lovely city with lovely people. Will be glad to come back to this hotel on our bext visit to Chur.

This review is specifically about the pool and wellness area. My friend and I booked a visit just to the spa and we were extremely disappointed. The set up is not for external visitors with limited options to shower and change and we were given lockers that would not even hold a handbag. If you are staying at the hotel the facilities are probably OK but for SWF 49 each to visit it is definitely not worth it. There is only a pool and steam room and sauna. The pool got very crowded and the experience was not relaxing and there are other better places to go in Davos. Do not go an an external guest.

Positive: Nice room, good facilities, beautiful SPA area (that`s why gave at least some Points) Negative: Half board dinner was really poor, something you can buy in a grocery (e.g. smoked trout with toast, tomato soup from can) and cheesecake was totally unenjoyable (worst cheesecake in my life). Actually we would be happier if cheese cake would be grocery store quality. Moreover, staff was new and the manager pointed out on their mistakes less than 2 m from our table, so we could hear everything. Very unprofessional from restaurant manager! SPA: SPA was open till 21:00. At 20:00 no staff was presented. Probably due to lack of personnel: there were no glasses for water (there were no glasses when I come and there were no glasses when I left 30 min later), floors were wet. There were people walking in street clothes and shoes along the sauna, looking thought the glass wall inside of sauna. People were just lost as there were no-one who could guide them. However, for someone who was at the same time in sauna it was very unpleasant. After complaining about the situation at reception desk, again situation was not treated professionally, far away from 5-start hotel level. The service level was very cheap and poor!!!

Lucky we booked the Hauser. It is in the middle of town area with the best and most popular restaurant of its own in town. We got a balcony room with stunning view of town and mountain. Room is spacious and basic with every amenities you need. The efficient free shuttle back to train station was bonus. The staff helping the arrangement were all super friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed our breakfast. What's more you can expect from St Moritz?

A clean and basic hotel. Which is quite easy to reach from the train station via a very efficient bus/tram ( runs every 10 minutes, catch the red one to get to the old town/station). The man on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Gave us our welcome drinks. Sadly the only food on offer was frozen pizza ( not his fault) so we ended up having Maccas next door which is not my favourite food. I am sure there were other nearby choices but it was getting late and this was a stop between 2 big train journeys so we didn't want to go far. Comfortable bed and good shower. Large balcony with views to the mountains behind the hotel. Quiet. Very weird that there was only 1 power point! In this day and age that is very poor as everything you use needs charging. If there was another power point it was impossible to find. Breakfast had a reasonable range of choices.

We stayed there over new year's for a ski vacation and head a very mixed experience. One thing to keep in mind that this is large, family-oriented property. Where the place false short is the lack of any guest experience, especially given the high rates. You walk in and they hand you the keys, and thats pretty much it. Very little follow up on inquiries and practically no help (where to eat, ski, rent, store skis - all the basics). All our requests went unanswered (usually with a boiler plate email response written by an intern). No phones in the room so any inquiry requires a trip to the front desk where there is a large of group in line or it is unstaffed. We wanted some help planning NYE but no one really cared to help but they still charged us for their in-house party (which we were told was sold out) which they eventually removed. No big deal but it the lack of attention/ care that made our stay not great. Location: decent but its a solid walk down/ uphill with skis. Rooms: on the small side, especially for a ski holiday. Breakfast buffet is a large cafeteria style hall - no one really there to assist. Not a particularly nice experience. Customer service: very poor to non-existent. I would not stay there again. Did the job for a last minute holiday but totally unmemorable.

Location is superb, only 2 min walk from Chur train station. It is also centrally located in the happening district of Chur, walking distance to many shops, restaurants and attractions in the old town. My room was huge, with a bathtub, separate shower and 2 washing sinks in the bathroom. I love the bathtub so much as it provided me the soak needed after a full busy day out. I also love the good quality toiletry provided. Beds are very comfortable, well rested after my 2-night stay in hotel. Breakfast was decent, nothing much to shout about. During checkout, some chocolate bars were given as token of appreciation, which was a good personal touch.

Zentral und doch erstaunlich ruhiges Hotel. (Südzimmer). Alles ist in unmittelbarer Umgebung zu Fuss erreichbar: Bergbahnen, Sportgeschäfte, Coiffeur, Bäckerei, Lebensmittelladen und 8 Restaurants für jeden Geschmack.Schöne, saubere Wellnessanlage. Reservation und Check-in einfach und schnell. Hilfsbereite und freundliche Menschen überall im Hotel. Wermutstropfen. Als langjähriger Gast ( Seit 1995 etwa 80 Aufentthalte in Sommer Herbst und Winter) empfindet man den Umgang kühl. Bis auf 2 sind alle bekannten Gesichter in Empfang und Restaurant verschwunden. Durch das Rocksresort wurde das Ganze zum Riesenbetrieb, der zwar gut funktioniert, aber zu Haus fühlt man sich nicht mehr. Die Hotelgäste sollten meiner Meinung nach persönlicher betreut werden, als die Gäste in den dutzenden von Wohnungen des Resorts. Der Preis ist doch einiges höher. So wie das jetzt läuft ist das wie bei IBIS oder andern Geschäftshotels. Und noch dies: Der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage kostet fürstliche 20 Franken/Nacht. Als ich einmal von einem Ausflug wieder einfahren wollte, hiess es das Parkhaus sei voll. Nach Diskussion mit dem Parkplatzwächter wurde ich eingelassen, und konnte dann mein Auto nach langer Suche in einer feuchten und dunklen Ecke im untersten Geschoss abstellen. Hab das an der Rezeption gemeldet. Wurde entgegengenommen. Reaktion null. Schade.

Tolles Hotel in schöner, naturnaher Lage mit Parkmöglichkeiten (kostet). Wellnessbereich mit Sauna und Pool als Highlight. Sehr sauber, freundliches Personal und leckeres Frühstück. Insgesamt ein ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt!”

Outstanding! This hotel has all the history, charm, and grace of classic St Moritz with absolutely first class updated amenities and facilities. Our lake view room was large comfortable and wow what a view of the mountains and lake! Convenient location about 15 minute walk from train or easy local bus stop. Service was personable and efficient, breakfast in elegant dining room with floor to ceiling windows on the lake and mountains. Unexpected bonus with two night stay was a pass to local mountain gondolas and transport to/from. Highly recommended

Great little hotel. Recently renovated with a lift (elevator) and fresh decor. Very comfortable rooms, great beds and bedding and excellent ensuite. Fairly quiet location even though in the heart of town and surrounded by old town sights. Hundreds of restaurants nearby. Good buffet breakfast of usual European variety. Helpful, friendly staff.Fridge and coffee maker in room (no cooking allowed). Overall great experience. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

While this hotel was acceptable with no deal breakers, I don’t believe it deserves a 4 star rating. Perhaps this was given due to its history and Michelin rated restaurants. Had it been rated a 3 star, I might have given it a better review. The good - staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel was an easy walk from the train station and well located in the historic center near shops and restaurants. The mediocre - the rooms, clean and sizable if you paid for it, but in no way special. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable with variety, but again, nothing special (croissants were fresh and delicious). The bad - while the hotel was generally clean, the carpet on the public stairs was kind of disgusting. No A/C anywhere. In July this could be a problem for some. The nights were quite pleasant and you could leave your window open if you don’t mind the noise. They do provide you with a floor fan, which was great for us Americans used to AC.

Stayed here for 2 nights stayed in room 32, when we walked in we thought waw what a room but then we went to close the door and the handle came off went to report it and was told we are waiting on technical to come and fix it but they dont work weekends,huge fire hazard, the safe doesnt work its in the wardrobe above the bed so have to stand on a chair to get to it, he bed is lovely and comfy, bathroom is lovely, we stayed and there was snow on the ground the room was freezing my husband went to complain and was told the heating is on he asked for a heater and was told they dont have any we have searched the room there is no radiator or vent in this room to allow the heat to come in, after sitting under the quilt for 2 hrs and -4 outside i went to complain was told dont know whats wrong as heating is on and offered us a small heater which earlier was told didnt have 1 glad its the last night

A gorgeous hotel in the heart of St. Moritz. Spacious rooms over looking the mountains. They just opened a brand new covered Italian restaurant at the back of the hotel. It’s shaped like a tube with clear glass windows on the roof and on the side. The food, the ambiance, the service, the cocktails was just prefect. I would highly recommend the veggie lasagna. Loved everything about this hotel except there were far too many tour groups staying at the hotel so it got a little chaotic at breakfast time in the restaurant and they did not have enough staff to keep up with the demand. I noticed one waitress was asking other guests if they wanted omelet or they were fine with the buffet. Unfortunately she did not came to our table. I called her a couple of times but her attention was on other guests.

Very convenient location with bus ride to different parts of town. Has hotel car for free to take you from and to station. Lovely ski lodge theme room. Very nice hearing. Breakfast was standard, could see it snowing outside

We stayed here for 4 nights to visit the Junior World Championships Skeleton. This hotel will end in our top 3 best hotels we have stayed in! The service is close to perfection especially the concierge desk, everything is possible. Together with beautiful weather we had such a nice days. The only small remark was that the breakfast team had some troubles delivering what we ordered, every day a small surprise with something we certainly didn’t order. Overall next time we have to come in summer to explore the area again.

I agree with all the positive sentiments given here with my only concern being the size of the bathroom and the awkwardness of getting in and out of the shower. This may be room dependent but ours was quite small and the entrance to the shower/tub would be a challenge for an elderly or limited mobility person. The height of the tub and lack of grab rails make this a challenge along with the fact the way the glass shower door hinges back into the sink area. This is even more so trying to get out of the tub where your feet are now wet and the tub will be slippery.

We spent four wonderful days at the Europa. The rooms are clean, comfortable and large. I did need to turn off the heating and tilt open the window at night. The staff are amazing, fun and really made our reunion memorable. Most, if not all, speak, German, French, Italian and English. The meals at La Vita and Steak & More were delicious and creative. I definitely will be back for a winter skiing break.

Nice hotel. Our room could be a little cleaner. Lot of hair and coffee spill on the carpets. You get free city public transportation ticket. Which was nice.

We had a great stay at the Turmhotel Victoria in Davos. Trip.com made it easy to book

We stayed at Hotel Europe in Davos from January 2 to 5, 2025, and unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations for a 4-star hotel. Here is a detailed account of the issues we faced: 1. Parking Inconvenience: While we were allowed to park in front of the hotel for 30 minutes to unload luggage and passengers, there was no long-term parking available. The recommended parking garage was full, leaving us to park at the Coop parking lot, which was a 10-minute walk away. This added unnecessary hassle to our arrival experience. 2. Unpractical Room Allocation: We were given a room on the 4th floor with no elevator access. This was highly inconvenient as we were traveling with a 4-month-old baby and a stroller. Despite mentioning the age of our children during the reservation, this was not disclosed to us beforehand. Reception explained that the 4th floor was the only option to avoid noise from the piano bar, but this lack of transparency left us frustrated. 3. Low-Quality Bedding: The pillows and duvet were of very poor quality, causing us to sweat excessively during the night. While we requested feather pillows the next day, the improvement was minimal. Additionally, the two queen beds pushed together created a gap, which was problematic for our 4-year-old sleeping in the middle. Reception eventually resolved this by adding a proper bed for our child and a cover to secure the beds, but this should have been addressed from the start. 4. Lack of Dining Options: On our first night, when we asked reception about food options, they directed us to another hotel (Grischa) for quality dining, suggesting a lack of confidence in their own offerings. 5. Bathroom Issues: The shower in our room had almost no water pressure, which made it unsuitable for a proper shower after skiing. 6. Subpar Breakfast: The breakfast was extremely disappointing. It was reminiscent of a youth hostel rather than a 4-star hotel. Choices were limited, and if you arrived close to the closing time of 10 AM, options were almost nonexistent. For example, there was only one type of bread left. Ordered eggs took over 30 minutes to arrive and were poorly presented with little taste. 7. Wellness Area Problems: The sauna required prior registration at reception, which was not communicated to us. The swimming pool temperature was far too cold (around 20°C), making it unpleasant for use, especially for families with children. 8. Disappointing Customer Service: Upon checkout, the staff asked how our stay was. When I expressed that it was not to our satisfaction, they made no effort to inquire further or address any issues, clearly showing a lack of concern. To make matters worse, I requested the final bill to be sent via email, which they assured me would be done—but it never arrived. This lack of follow-through only solidified the impression of poor customer service. 9. Positives: The hotel’s central location was convenient for exploring Davos. Additionally, as promised, we

Ich kann das Hard Rock Hotel Davos nur weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist super zentral, man braucht nur einige Minuten von Davos Platz um hinzugelangen. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ( besonders Carla von der Rezeption) und auch die Mitarbeiter vom Restaurant und der Bar. Die Zimmer sind ein wenig schmal geschnitten, die Terrasse sehr grosszügig und auf der Südseite, wir hatten tolle Sonne abbekommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr lecker und liess keine Wünsche übrig.

Waren schon mehrmals auf dem Campingstellplatz des Hotels und nun das erste Mal im Hotelzimmer. Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel mit toller Dampfsauna und freundlichem Personal. Getränke der Minibar sowie Tickets für die Ortsbusse waren inklusive. Es hatte alles, was wir brauchten, um uns vier Tage lang zu erholen und im Wellnessbereich zu sonnen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alpengold. The rooms are very attractively designed and furnished with high quality materials. What a pleasure to stay there. However, what made this stay special was the super friendly staff. From arrival to departure we felt warmly welcomed and personally looked after. Staff always polite and helpful. We can only warmly recommend Hotel Alpengold and will definitely be back.

A fantastically spacious appartment, immaculately clean and very well equipped. All the staff in the main hotel were friendly and efficient, even though they were often in demand from the many groups staying there. The bar was really nice with a competetive price list (by Swiss standards) and served with lovely nibbles and a smile. There was a free concert every early evening on the road above the airport and it was lovely to see local families and visitors enjoying the music. The location was excellent with nearby shops, transport, the art gallery and lovely walks and climbs. There were some minor negatives: the English TV channels were not working but it was nice to have the chance for conversation and reading - my advice is to take an extra book! We should have reported it but didn't... Some cushions on the sofas would be nice too.
