Excellent location, easy to walk around and it's very quiet ! The room with the river view is worth it a lot, large beds and spaceous wc too. Do use the anti-grip on the shower, it IS slippery. As for breakfast, very various hot options and also a window view into the street and river. The team used translators and also spoke some english, very communicative :) Was easy go get a 2nd card and to leave the luggage for a few hours after check out too. Definitly recommend.

We chose LS Hotel in Yangshuo as the final stop of our first trip to China after visiting Shanghai and Guangzhou, and I honestly cannot think of a better way to end the trip! We didn’t really know what to expect and booked it mainly because of the reviews, but it ended up being even better than we imagined. From the moment we landed, everything felt effortless. They sent a driver in a spacious, comfortable car to pick us up, and as soon as we arrived, the staff greeted us so warmly and took us straight to our room in Building Two. The views… I don’t even know how to describe them properly. Just walking into the lounge and seeing the scenery outside literally took our breath away. And somehow, the views from the room were even better. Every angle looked like something out of a movie. It almost didn’t feel real. The room itself was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable, which made it so easy to relax and just take everything in. The breakfast buffet had plenty of amazing local and western options. What really made the stay unforgettable though was the staff. Lynn and Reina were absolutely amazing. They were so kind, so responsive, and genuinely cared about making our experience perfect. Anytime we had a question, they replied within seconds and helped us with everything from activities to recommendations. They brought us the most delicious cake to our room. One of the biggest highlights was the complimentary 30 minute photography session they arranged for us with Cai Cai. I went in thinking it would just be something simple, but I was honestly blown away. The photos were insanely good, like they looked edited and professional, but they were actually raw and untouched. She even shared all of them with us, which made it even more special. The area itself is incredible too. There is so much to do, so many beautiful spots to explore, and amazing food everywhere. It was the perfect mix of relaxing and having things to do. I truly loved this place and I already can’t wait to come back.

Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

This hotel is right outside the cross border facilities. It has good restaurants. It also has a rooftop viewing platform that has a panoramic view of both Vietnam side and the Tung Hing city.

Probably one of the best hotel experience we had. Staffs are attentive and helpful. Services were top notch, they make sure we were well looked after! Room was spacious and necessary amenities were provided. Hotel also provides free of charge laundry service. Buffet breakfast had a fair selection of local cuisine and food were great. Hotel is located next to Li river with beautiful scenic views and is within walkable distance to a few scenic spots. The in-house hotel photography service were professional. No hard selling, wish we had the budget to purchase the entire collection! Highly recommended!

Cool layout of rooms even the most basic ones, location in cbd gives you direct access to the mall. The pool is cool but I feel the terrace space is too empty with not much seating area or anything going on… perhaps because it was early December even tho the weather was still comfortably warm. Also recommend the Chinese restaurant - abalone rice was delicious.

If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously.

Our experience at this amazing hotel in Guilin truly deserves praise and attention. A solid five-star experience all the way. The team went all out to ensure our stay was comfortable and even exceeded expectations in every way. They helped us purchase and celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a specially sourced children’s cake from an external bakery, which was such a thoughtful touch. We were also pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade—superb service. The laundry room was free to use, and the staff member in charge even encouraged me to go rest while she handled everything for us. It was all completed perfectly—next-level service. The room itself was fully AI-enabled, which added a modern and impressive touch to the stay.
