Hotel Dengan Spa di Queensland, Australia

I have been coming to The Chateau for yrs. New management now but I feel the place was run better previously. Especially with maintaining the facilities like the jakoozi and spa. Room was fine, broken lamp shade and everything so out dated they just don't wish to change anything but make money off it? However, perfect lil hotel right on the beach, immaculate location with all at your feet to see at Surfers. Great pool, gaming room, sauna and spa, jakoozi the Best in GC! From the heating to correct bubble levels it's been my go to. But the plumbing or sewerage was off. Water smelt and my friend visiting was grosed out sadly taking a shower right away. Fix this!

Great hotel and location. Has everything you need within walking distance. Restaurants bars and ****** just downstairs. Pool was lovely. More restaurants and Pac Fair mall just across the street. 5 min walk to the beach. We even walked to Draculas Cabaret for some evening entertainment one night. Staff were friendly and helpful and everything was clean. Would stay here again. The only down side was having to pay extra for parking. It’s $20 a day.

The location is wonderful .. short walk to surfers paradise and skypoint is just right next door. Easy to get from airport as the tram stop is just right next to skypoint. Many cafe and restaurant choices. Did not use the pool or gym. Noise can be heard from room as the walls are thin. Easy check in .. staff did not advise much on the resort facilities and we figure out the wifi password base on the sticker on the kitchen wall. Our rooms balcony look out into the pool which is nice.

Overal is ok, had a small issue with the toilet and the fixed it same day. Close to the city and stations. Didnt use the pool or anuthyg like that but saw them. will consider it to come back. the recepcionists (Natalia helped us with the toilet issue) and more of them were friendly and helpful. This hotel is centrally located on the esplanade, and this is its main plus. In everything else, in my view, it loses out to the Hilton , to which I moved after a few days. My room smelled to the extent it made me feel unwell. The two swimming pools they boast are a joke. In the first glass pool, you are fully exhibited to everyone on the esplanade, which is why no one swims. In the second one you can't swim if there's anyone else in the pool, it's that narrow. The spa is a private massage joint. I was given a parking spot with no remote the first day, and allowed to park as an exception - their parking is too small to accomidate a hotel of this size. It has no ev charging. The breakfast is nowhere as good as the Hiltons. In any case I fixed all these problems by moving.

Location is conveniently accessible to the attractions of Cairns and their hotel is super comfortable and with easy check on system with their friendly staff

Staff were really kind and helpful and it was an easy walk to the shops and restaurants, bedrooms are basic and good for what you need for a short stay in Cairns

This is a hotel that up to standard - it may not be the best in the world but I believe it is one of the best in Cairns. The location is a bit far - it take a good 15 mins walk to likely everywhere in Cairns city center. However it is one of the newest hotel in the town and could give you a good and fair service. The buildings in the hote and the pool is beautiful. When you walk around the town you will find all big brands hotel in the world but they all looks like historical buildings.

The hotel has a nice and classy overall look, but the room and bathroom felt somewhat dated. The front desk staff were unfriendly and not very accommodating, which was disappointing. However, the concierge team was excellent—very helpful and genuinely welcoming. The main advantages of this hotel are its location and the great concierge service. During my stay, several events were held in the hotel hall, and it became overcrowded, making it uncomfortable for in-house guests to use the facilities such as pool etc. Despite paying a substantial amount for accommodation, the hotel declined even a 30-minute late check-out request, which was quite frustrating. Overall, you could easily spend less—or top up a little more—and enjoy far better service at other nearby hotels.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The only downside was the room that I was given was on the top floor and the noise from either some sort of pump or the outside unit of the air condition was so overwhelming that I couldn't sleep well all night.
