"Tired and dated. Great location, botanical gems opposite. City view!!! The tarmac roof and major building works, 3 cranes were noted! Everything needs an update. Pool area ok excepts for the noise of construction. Should have been informed. There are other hotels nearby I would suggest you look at"

"Hotel was lovely, modern and comfortable in a perfect location but our room was an odd shape, no desk to use my laptop or eat etc. and does not actually have a gym.
The gym is located at the Star next door, head towards the centre lifts and go down to level P to use the gym but AC was broken and felt awkward walking through The Star in my gym gear. Parking was also a little confusing at first as you need to head into the Star parking, navigate across to building 1 and park in levels 3 or 4. Not much signage.
Good initiative they had going was to go green and not get your room serviced for the day but they offer you a $10 voucher to use at the cafe down stairs. Great coffees
Make sure to join the Star membership for free to get discounted food & beverages and they always have good specials like to slow cooked beef cheeks for $19.90 AUD"

Guest UserGood view, good service and good cleanliness. The breakfast was good though the menu remained the same over the days. The bathroom was still using hot and cold mixer taps. But otherwise

Guest UserThe hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the pier. They don't provide bottled water, and there's no facility to get drinkable water, so you'll need to buy your own from the supermarket. Drying clothes on the balcony is prohibited, so bring extra swimsuits or a portable drying device. The shower easily wets the bathroom floor.

The room was quite spacious, but the facilities were a bit underwhelming. For example, the balcony door lock was broken on the first day, and though it was fixed, I later discovered the hot water in the sink wasn't working. These issues should really be checked before guests check in. Luckily, everything was eventually repaired. My stay wasn't the best, but the Nepalese lady at the front desk who helped resolve the problems was excellent – thumbs up to her!
Breakfast was a partnership with Harvest Buffet inside The Star, costing $30 for one adult and one child, which I thought was a reasonable price.

Guest UserThe hotel facilities are excellent, and the pool and gym are well-maintained. The breakfast selection is rich, and the ingredients are fresh. Both check-in and check-out processes were efficient and smooth. The overall environment is quiet and comfortable, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel.

Lucy666Booked a private tour with Trip.com this time, and the hotel was recommended by their customer service. There's a bus transfer to Moreton Island the next morning. The hotel has a lot of rooms, but they are a bit old, though the room itself was quite spacious. Dining options nearby are convenient. Overall, it's still a good choice.

Guest UserThe hotel was very well priced, the room was clean well equipped , the shower water pressure was incredible, the hotel has a pool, very good location , only negative is not enough parking for the units, parking is first in best dressed, there is free street parking , but that I think is the only negative

JuanmaoniuerThe customer service and cleanliness were really subpar. I've already spoken with the hotel manager, and even the executive housekeeper admitted that this level of cleanliness is ”unacceptable and not what you'd expect from a five-star hotel.” On the other hand, the hotel's water facilities were great, and the front desk service was also very good. Breakfast was just okay, and the buffet restaurant was a bit small, leading to long wait times.
Premium service is all about interconnected elements; if any link in the chain is weak, it negatively impacts the customer experience.

summergu11An incredibly satisfying experience! The hotel was exceptionally clean and the facilities were brand new. The super-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room itself was very spacious. The sea view room was fantastic; lying in bed and gazing at the ocean was wonderfully relaxing. The hotel service was excellent – whenever I had an issue, someone was there to help immediately. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended, five stars!
