Overall: 6/10 Staff: 9/10 Price: 8/10 Location (to sights): 8/10 Transit: 8/10 Room: 6/10 Common Areas: 6/10 Restaurant/ Bar: 9/10 Vibe (community): n/a Really enjoyed my stay at other hostels from this company and this one should have been just as good but there’s some things i just can’t put aside… First off, the hostel is dirty. Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

Rien à redire sur la propreté de la chambre. La proximité du centre des congrès est un plus. Le personnel peu attentif : on m'a téléphoné en plein congrès pour me demander pourquoi j'ai laissé mes affaires dans la chambre (normal puisque j'ai réservé 2 nuits), sans avoir vérifié auparavant les termes de la réservation :( Les plateaux des petits-déjeuner qui s'accumulent sur les tables car personne pour débarrasser.

Hotel Grand Briston is in a very good location, close to the train station 100m, near the bus station to go to the surrounding ancient villages only about 100m the hotel is in a very good location, close to the train station 100m near the bus packing for going to the surrounding ancient villages of Colmar. It is only about 01 km to the center. It is very convenient and comfortable. Room is clean and the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. Will com back!

This is a very bland hotel, very poor décor in reception and very uninviting. Good size room and bathroom. I think they could organise breakfast arrangements, but plenty of choice. The staff were very helpful, but again the bar facilities were very poor.

This was our 3rd stay on 19th September in this hotel on 3rd floor and we love it. The reason is that it is always impeccably clean. Beds have mattress toppers so the sleep quality is good. Cushions are also of good quality. Sheets are snow white made of Egyptian cotton (high quality) bathrooms is clean, towels new, good quality. We book rooms on higher floors so the views are better. Air conditioning is working perfectly and most important very quiet. A guest can adjust the A/C temperature according to preference. Parking spaces available for all customers. Location is great as it gives easy access to motorways either travelling South or North direction. Girls in the reception are lovely, all speak good English. I would rate this hotel at least 4* Many thanks.

Just what we wanted - a clean, functional place to lay our heads. The 24 hour check-in means no worries about getting there by a certain time from the UK which is invaluable. Close to the motorway, but far enough away not to be noisy.

We booked the Boma hotel for a short stay in Strasbourg due to its location, as it is right next to Petit France, within walking distance to everywhere in the oldtown, but also only a 8min walk to the train station. We never had to use any transports in the two days we stayed, the Cathedral and other landmarks were only a 10min walk. However, we were also pleased with what we found as the hotel was new, modern but with character. There was music in the halls and lift to set the atmosphere and the decor overall was urban modern but worked very well. The room was not very big but had everything we needed for a short stay: a very comfy bed with memory foam pillows, which granted us a fantastic sleep at night; small desk with a kettle and a variety of coffee/tea; the minibar had water and soft drinks (and were free); there was a large tv on the wall with some media contents (films and music) which were also free for us to use; a safe where we could store our passports, etc during our stay; the bathroom had a good size with a large shower and the amenities were surprisingly good (which sometimes is compromised in smaller hotels). Our room was facing a main street but the windows were double-glazed, so we barely could hear anything from the outside. In the lower ground floor there's a (large) luggage room with large lockers for the guests to use, self-service and free. Since we arrived at Strasbourg in the morning we used it, as check-in is only at 3pm; then used it again after checking out, for a few hours, to explore a bit more of the old town before we took the train to Paris. Breakfast was was fairly good. Mainly continental but there were also scrambled eggs and bacon. There is a supermarket 20 metres away from the hotel, which was quite convenient in case we needed to buy anything during our stay. There is also a french bakery / patisserie just across the road. A lot of other coffee shops, restaurants, shops, etc just nearby. The staff was friendly, provided all the information we needed for a great stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to visit Strasbourg, as it's perfectly located and has everything that you'll need to explore the old town.

Hotel yang selamat dan boleh dipercayai, terletak di Brabois, dengan pengangkutan yang mudah dan tempat letak kereta yang besar di hadapan hotel yang sangat praktikal.

Excellent coffee. Hamza was very nice and welcoming!! We stopped briefly to charge our car and we’re pleasantly surprised. The area feels very peaceful and there is a nice swimming pool - if we were staying longer we would surely use it. Thanks!

Amazing!!!!!! Exceptional services!!! Room is clean and comfy. Highly recommend this hotel !!!! All staff are very kind and helpful. I think this is one of the best hotel around the area. We don’t have time to enjoy the gym and swimming pool, but the environment are great too!!

I’ve booked my room from the IHG website and added my boyfriend as the additional guest. I have no idea how but somehow they’ve made the booking under his name, although I was the one who booked and paid the price. Two night before our trip, I’ve received an email stating that they cannot guarantee our reservation since the payment has not been made. I have sent them my bank statement and my confirmation correspondence with the front desk regarding the payment, but they didn’t reply in time. I’ve had to make an hour of an international call from Turkey, but they kept me on the line like half an hour and told me that they cannot see the previous confirmation email sent by them. Even though I’ve told them I will be on the plane for the next day and solving this problem was urgent, they didn’t even bother to call me or email me until the after on the next day. The hotel was nice and decent, but the whole process was problematic for us. I do recommend the hotel but do not recommend the staff.

J'ai pris l'option détente pour le spa, il est composé d'un petit hammam, deux cabines infrarouges et d'une petite piscine amplement nécessaire. Pour le petit déjeuner, il y en avait pour tout les goûts. En ce qui concerne le parking, il faut le réserver à l'avance pour s'assurer une place mais dans le cas contraire des placements libres à l'extérieur sont disponibles. Je viendrai séjourner dans cet hôtel avec plaisir !!

We had a short stay in Strasbourg. This is hotel literally a 2 minute walk as you exit the train station. Our original room was a ”accessible” room which was NOT what we had reserved. Alexanderos at the front desk was kind enough to change our room to a top floor with a view of of the main square. Everything was as expected. The ONLY odd thing about the room was the lack of a handle on the bathroom door and the the door opened to the outside! Not normal. There was just a groove alongside the door edge. Made it hard to pull the door to open toward the inside of the room. PLEASE install door handles.The staff was always attentive and helpful especially Alexandros.

Reason for poor service. Room service ordered through portal, confirmation received through portal and email waited for over half an hour after requested time messaged restaurant twice no response. Then messaged front desk inly then to receive a call to say no room service that night an to come down to the bar if I want to. We had travelled for many hours and just wanted to relax in our room. So we did not bother with any refreshments. I think you may need to look this, it’s not good to let guests order and get confirmation for a service you are not providing that day. Maybe look at your processes.

I just checked out of this hotel today. I loved everything about the hotel from the moment I walked in. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had to park offsite, several blocks away, but they will transfer your luggage to and from the hotel. We had two rooms at the hotel, and we stayed in a family area that had a door off the hallway to both of our rooms. This is perfect if you have need to but your kids in one room and you/spouse in the other. The queen size rooms are not huge, but I found the room to be laid out very well. It really didn’t bother me at all that they are smaller than some of the hotels we stay at in the United States. Our rooms came with breakfast and it was wonderful. The presentation is beautiful. When you walk in it is a buffet but you can also order off the menu I suggest ordering the French toast. One of the best things about this hotel is air conditioning !!!! I can’t express enough how important it is when it is 95 degrees Fahrenheit outside. The air conditioner did not keep the room at a cool, 71 to 72° but very close. I hope to return to Strasbourg in the future, and I certainly will stay at Maison Rouge again.

Very nice modern atmosphere as a boutique hotel, trendy rooms and trendy restaurant, bar & lounge. Staff very attentive and helpful. The overall experience reflects past and modern trends. Well done and very hospitable. Will definitely be back

Very nice modern atmosphere as a boutique hotel, trendy rooms and trendy restaurant, bar & lounge. Staff very attentive and helpful. The overall experience reflects past and modern trends. Well done and very hospitable. Will definitely be back

Paid parking was available and we reserved a spot by calling the hotel directly. Location is excellent to walk or bike into the old town. Tram stops in front of the hotel but it was not running due to track maintenance while we were there. Small grocery close by too. The room was nice and clean. We were on the top floor and a bit concerned about fire escapes. The show was large with a big enty step; suggest a sturdy wall mounted grab rail for inside the shower. Overall, we'd go back!
