"Check in time was 3pm however my flight arrived mid morning & hotel kindly let me check in immediately upon arrival around 11am
Room was very comfortable but no shower cap or other amenities offered
Location is slightly out of the centre with a 5 block walk which was tiring however staff were lovely except the travel desk staff member who was very rude & chomping on an orange whilst talking to you & not helpful"
GGuest UserThe hotel is nice for the price of low $223 but they charge $45 per day of activity fees but I never used. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the central Waikiki area but is OK. The breakfast buffet is good and includes in the room package. The only problem is that they only have valet parking for $60 per day. It took them 45 minutes in the morning to get my car down on day 1 and we missed the tour. The other days were 10 to 15 minutes. I guess they don’t have enough parking so they have to double park and triple park. I tried to park at the adjacent Banyan lot but all full after 8pm. There are no other viable option other than valet parking in the hotel.
GGuest UserGood location at the beginning of Waikiki- close enough to everything without being in the midst of touristy chaos. Amenities decent- nothing too fancy but all the basic amenities covered. (Pool✅, gym✅, sauna✅- steam room was out of order) missing a jacuzzi & would have liked extended pool hours- but really enjoyed our time there- free excellent first come, first served- cabana options ,and complimentary ice cakes. Staff was friendly & helpful- despite an initial awkward check in experience. Breakfast buffet-(Cafe 410) good choices, attentive staff. Recommend going early to beat the loud & large crowds.
Elevators were like a roller coaster ride and zipped us up to our room and down to lobby in a flash. The water bottle check in gift was a nice and appreciated touch. (Just wished that ice machines were on every floor)
Signature Steak House- pricey but worth every dollar!! Very elegant/classy atmosphere - though kind of looser on the dress code than expected. Steak melts in your mouth- light, flavorful- perfect! Best.Damned.Steak.Ever!! Really set the bar and forever ruined all other steaks in comparison!!!
Overall , very nice Kamaaina couple staycation.
Only complaint would be the horrible mattresses!! (So uncomfortable that we had a hard time sleeping and woke daily with sore backs- and that there wasn’t free Kamaaina parking.
GGuest UserThe hotel setting is relatively simple, the overall environment is quite good, close to the beach, the hotel parking is not Ouhugui, self-parking 35, hotel parking 40, there is an important thing! It is necessary to live on the high floor, 10 floors or more is the best, we were arranged to the 3rd floor on the first night, there is a very common kind of annoying Xiaoqiang! Later, I communicated with the hotel at night and changed to the 12th floor. It was really scary. I must live on the high floor! !
The area where the hotel is located is located in Lahaina. There is a place to buy and eat in 5 minutes by car. There is ABC. Don't worry about breakfast. There are also pharmacies nearby. In short, it is not bad. ~
GGuest UserThis is the largest Hilton resort in the world, with many pools but no swimmable beach. The hotel has dolphins and turtles. I recommend staying in MAKAI for a better environment and more convenient access. However, the hotel is quite suburban, so you'll need to rent a car to get to the city center. There's a $5 one-way shuttle bus available within the hotel.
GGuest UserIt was good had a great time but if booking through a 3rd party site be prepared to pay way more fees that were never shown to you. They did rectify the situation but nonetheless it is still the principle of the matter and I would probably refrain from booking here again.
HHengyuTraveling solo makes it less convenient to stay in a guesthouse, so I had to book a hotel. It was quite expensive, and parking seemed to be around $50-$60 a day.
**Location**: If you're visiting attractions, expect a long drive every day. However, the Big Island's beauty isn't limited to just the popular spots. If you're with a group, driving a bit longer isn't a big deal as you can share the driving. But if you're alone, I'd recommend changing hotels daily and moving little by little to cover different areas.
冰冰镇三文鱼The private beach is nice and open. Free snorkeling equipment can be borrowed. Boating and other equipment are charged. Drive for half an hour from OGG. If you live in the pacific whales foundation for whale watching, you don't have to rush to whale watching town. It has a branch in maalea closer to the hotel.
GGuest UserWe were given Room 08 in the Ewa building, and the balcony view was exactly as pictured. Even though we were on a high floor, we could still faintly hear the lively party music at night, but it didn't bother our sleep. I'm not sure if it would be an issue for lower floors. Getting to the beach was super convenient – just cross the street, turn right, and you're there. The waves on this part of the beach are very gentle and consistent, so I'd recommend renting a board and heading out. The hotel providing beach towels and chairs was a nice touch and very convenient. The room itself was quite spacious, and while it felt a bit dated, the restroom and bathroom had been renovated with updated fixtures, including a Japanese toilet. The only downside is that the bathroom space felt a bit cramped.
KKasia ZürichIt’s a nice resort in a great location, however plenty of hidden fees, we paid for breakfast which wasn’t anything special, scrambled eggs from powder, coffee was pretty bad and weak and you had to pay extra which we only learned about when we paid 160$ for breakfast. Lack of healthy food and not suited for people who eat healthy unprocessed food.
I really liked the towel service, it was very convenient. Our room this time however (we stayed in the same hotel a week earlier) was not as great as our previous, it was more used, the fridge constantly leaking, and the air con did not work as well as in the previous room (it was ground floor with garden)
And the worst thing was, I requested a quiet room but we got one of the connected rooms and we could not fall asleep till round 23:00 when a screaming family next door finally put their kids to bed. It was really noisy. Big plus for the pools and hot tub. They really were nice
AAnonymous UserThis resort struck a great balance for our trip, offering far more convenience than the famous 5-star brand resorts we drove past. Those isolated properties have fewer neighborhood options and are probably better for visitors who only want to stay inside the hotel grounds.
The resort’s location is incredible, featuring a private beach area right on the property. We loved that we could literally swim with fish just a couple of steps away from our hotel room.
The on-site Restaurant is superb, featuring delicious food and a very friendly staff. The location is also incredibly convenient, offering plenty of additional dining options within an easy walkable distance.
We highly appreciated the complimentary yoga and fitness classes offered to guests during our stay. The on-site tennis court is incredibly accessible and reasonably priced at just $10 per person a day.
The daily tennis fee conveniently includes complimentary rackets and balls (and even water) for your matches. Guests are welcome to play for as many hours as they want, as long as the court remains available.
