Very good location .. nice service and really nice lobby . My favourite place to stay in city centre. Only 5 min walk to shopping centre and many restaurants. NCP Car park is just 1 min away .

Arrival • Our arrival was straightforward – easy and pleasant. Were informed that the restaurant was not open. • We were staying for 4 nights (F, S, S, M). Room • Room was clean and tidy. • Bed sheet did not completely fit the bed – minor point. • Plug sockets on desk were dead – minor point – there were plenty of others. • Lighting by wardrobe by door was poor – not great but another minor point. • Overall lighting was ok – but as ever with hotels not great for doing make-up (my partner is constantly disappointed with hotels) – minor point. • Extractor fan – non-functional in bathroom leading to a steamed-up room – minor point. • Shower was super powerful and hot. Breakfast • 8 – 10am. We arrived 9am. • Instant coffee only – no decaffeinated evident though we didn’t ask for more • Only one type of milk. • There was a breakfast cereal dispenser for x4 types. o However, on the first day there were only two options – cornflakes and cocoa-pops. For the remaining three days only cocoa pops. • Insufficient tables spread across two areas with a trip hazard in between. o The tables were not all suitable for breakfast – more coffee table style • Toaster was inadequate and was connected to power via a hanging multiplug which would be an electrical hazard. • Over the weekend the cooked breakfast was served buffet style. o On arrival for breakfast there were no eggs and these needed to be requested. • On Monday and Tuesday there was table service. o The friendly staff informed us that not all options were available o Eggs on toast came as one egg (isn't the norm two eggs?). Staff • Overall the staff appeared friendly • It was unfair to leave the young lad to manage the customers at breakfast on his own over the weekend. o He did a pretty good job with a number of requests for more cutlery, coffee, eggs, cereal  Probably deserves a pay-rise for his resilience • Someone at front desk appeared to be smoking on Monday morning Décor and other • Wallpaper hanging off in breakfast lounge • The hotel building and grounds belied a relatively rundown interior with a dated look. Conclusion • The room was comfortable, but the breakfast experience was a disappointment. • The staff were friendly but seemed to be going through the motions. • We would have checked out from the hotel had it been possible not to lose booking fee. • Would not recommend anyone to stay based on our experience. • The whole place needs an injection of process and strategy to create engagement and uplift. In other words the manager/management/owner need to do better. • Customer expectations need to be managed better o For example, remove the cereal dispenser with empty options if supplies are low/not available, which we were told they were. Or go to the local co-op and buy some – go the extra mile. o Instruct staff to have the same message o To explain clearly that breakfast is only of a certain type – not tell us what we cannot have  That said it would be unfair to judge the staff as it l

It is exactly opposite to the Leicester football stadium. For most of the time in the year it will a pleasing stay except when its too hot. As the ACs seems to not work properly when its too hot. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Stayed the night before flying. Park and fly very reasonable price. Continental breakfast included even at 4.30am. 2-3 minute bus ride to the terminal costing £2. Bus stop close to the hotel, and on return, close to arrivals. Will defiantly book again next year

Work away frequently and have stayed in loads of hotels the welcome from Georgia the Duty Manager was second to none probably the best I’ve experienced . Amazing ambassador for the company. Facilities and food was top notch. A great stay, great staff and an all round great hotel.

Hotel rooms small but spotless. Desk staff were amazing. Of all hotels I've ever stayed in these guys were so polite helpful and pleasant. Couldn't praise them enough. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area. Cheap and cheerful.

I loved it so much I didn't want to leave. It would be my go-to place whenever I'm in Leicester again. The receptionist was lovely as well. It's easy and very much comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone.

Hotel was clean, rooms were big, bed was large and very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff were friendly enough, we didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on food, but all in all a pleasant stay at The Link.

There's no way anyone could feasibly give Glenfield Lodge 5* and I'm sure the owners don't even strive for that. It's less than a mile from the city centre and is basic - it's mainly used by companies to accommodate construction workers during the week. The room had a working basic TV, kettle, and sink. The toilet and bathroom (both very clean and functional) were at the end of the passage. The building is tired internally. No doubt about that. It is a place just to sleep but - here's the rest of it. The gentleman on duty was polite, friendly and thorough. Even though we were only staying for one night we were treated very well. The beds and bedding were clean and very comfortable. To our surprise, it was extremely quiet. Either no one stats there at the weekends or the residents are very considerate. And now the biggest thing - £37 for a twin room booked only a few days in advance. Incredible value for money.

Great experience,clean rooms,easy check in/out. Comfortable beds and food good. Big shout out to the guy on reception who went above and beyond for us,sorry forgot your name We will be returning next year hopefully for our next Marillion convention.

Re Hotel provided for “a national company” the accommodation was unsafe, unfinished and unfit for purpose. To be clear; I have been in the construction industry for 33 years and I am currently the service delivery manager of 16 years with this company, accountable for the Responsive Repairs, maintenance and Voids properties for “a national housing provider”and “a national company” fire compliance work through our other FRA departments & Fire Safety work across the country. The hotel in question Blaby Westfield House Hotel is truly an appalling hotel provided by Agiito web site options. On entering the car park, the front entrance windows blinds were hanging down off the windows, after I parked, the reception was to the side of the building. On entering the reception, I could smell and feel the dust in the air. There were patches of bare plaster on the walls where the walls had been repaired, I understand thing need repairing so I walk to reception and gave my reservation. I was greeted by the reception person who took my reservation and informed there was no breakfast as the chief was on holiday (I was informed at the time of booking there was no breakfast) therefore I asked is the chief back next week? to which the recreationist stated, ”we don’t know he has been gone a long time”. So now I am thinking what?? I continued my booking and received room number 102 which is situated in the main house building above the front entrance. After walking up and around several corridors through several fire doors which I guarantee are not certified under fire regulations (I am fully versed in the requirements for fire doors and fire safety of buildings). As I walked to my room again around another small corridor the hard-wired fire alarm had a yellow empty tile grouting bucket on the floor as I focused on the bucket, I then realised water was running into the bucket as I looked up it was running out of the fire alarm sensor into the bucket!!! I returned downstairs and informed the receptionist who said, ” Yes it’s the water tank in the loft is leaking the man was meant to fix it last week but it’s still leak, and he hasn't returned yet.” Therefore, there has been no working fire alarm at this hotel for over a week!!! Another breach of Fire Regulations and hotel safety regulations. I asked so when is the Fire Alarms going to be fixed? and the receptionist shrugged his shoulders and stated “I don’t know”!!! The appalling condition and false advertising of this hotel doesn't stop at the complete failure of all Hotel fire Safety Regulations. I was sent to the bar while the receptionist went to get what I can only assume was the manager, I was asked could I go down the ground floor corridor to the bar / restraint area. I walked down the corridor as requested to find myself in the front reception bar/restaurant area, yes where the blind are hanging off the windows, once on the inside looked like a building site!!! The receptionist then came down the corrido

2nd time here and I like the general location which is not too busy. Staff are helpful and breakfast experience really good. The blocks are based on old student rooms though modernised significantly and my shower was powerful +++! Draw space was minimal. Car park was initially surprisingly full, but no issues during the stay. Negatives on this occasion were too much door banging (it seems that the latching adjustment on some doors is off, I hope they can sort this). Also I noticed the road noise more this time which meant window had to be pretty much shut. You can walk into town from here but it is a pretty long way there and back!

Nice room, spacious with all usual fixtures and a comfortable bed. Good value for money. Bar and cooked food available. Plenty of parking (free). Good location if travelling. Ideal for the East Midlands airport and for nearby University of Nottingham Sutton Bonington campus.

Booked here for 3 people to share a room near the airport . Advertised with a restaurant , bar , reception etc . We arrived at 2pm for check in to find it in darkness and all locked up . Virtually no phone signal there to ring anyone up. So we went across road to the castle inn to use their WiFi .( loverly pub) . Got hold of someone about 3 pm ish who said she be at reception. We went over and she was there a very friendly girl who showed us to our rooms ? . Sorry do you mean room ? No the hotel is shift so we put you in 2 rooms in an outside bit . Room had 2 electric heaters in it and was like a tropical rain forest with the heat and the damp . The room was shocking as in shocking. . Smelled fusty and damp , plug socket hanging off the wall that had been stuck on with blue tack !!! A extension lead nailed to the bathroom wall for to and kettle . The bathroom what I could see of it as lights didn’t work looked like something out a horror film . Too late to do anything so went to sleep . Told other lad not to bother coming as it’s a dump . At 11.30 pm I was awoken by some guy banging on my window ! . His car was in car park and barrier had gone down and he did not have a code . I took him to reception that was locked up rang after hours number no answer so I went back in . £90 I paid for this and it was disgusting

It must be at least my fifth visit to this hotel. I've always had a pleasant stay, but unfortunately, the hotel section has gone downhill. Firsty the carpark is so damaged pot holes etc I damaged my car which is quite low. Check-in is in the pub and had to wait a long time to be seen. The room was clean. However, we were woken more than 7 times by a radiator in the room that would randomly grumble. Very loud indeed. If you got out of bed and tapped it, it stopped. Definitely needs looking at. The food in pub however was very nice indeed. However, a glass of processco should be a glass flute, in my opinion, and not half a flute?? When I questioned this, they said you only get 125ml

A lovely guesthouse. We were greeted by Derek and shown to our room. We had the the accessible room on the ground floor. It faced the main road but it was so quiet at night, so we had a peaceful nights sleep. The breakfast cooked by Lez was one of the best we have had at a guesthouse. Everywhere was clean and nicely decorated. We will definately stay here again if we are in the area again.

Excellent value with great transport links. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Though I didn’t use it, there appeared to be plenty off road parking as well. Great communication throughout by email and WhatsApp - ease of checking in. Will definitely come back! Thank you!
