Hotel 5-Star di Johor, Malaysia

Thank you so much to the hotel team for helping with the lovely setup and arrangements for our anniversary celebration. ❤️ Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we truly appreciate the effort and attention to detail. The warm hospitality made our stay even more special and memorable. Thank you for making our anniversary celebration such a wonderful one! Highly recommended! 😊

Excellent cleanliness. The building facilities include a clean and spacious swimming pool, a gym, karaoke, and a pool table. There are plenty of food stalls around the building, so you'll be spoilt for choice. It's only RM11-13 to take a Grab to Midvalley Southkey.

The unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed is bouncy and we slept well. The place also comes with useful amenities like a fridge, electric stove, oven, iron and hair dryer. However, there is no water dispenser or water filter provided. Basic utensils such as plates, spoons and bread knives are available, but there are no forks, bowls or other cooking tools, so you may need to bring your own or purchase separately if you plan to cook. The downside was the check-in experience. We were only given the access card without the bedroom key, and ended up stuck outside for almost an hour trying to figure out how to enter. The owner’s response was quite late, which made the situation frustrating. The TV in the room was also not functioning. On the positive side, the owner did allow a late check-out at 1pm. Overall, the stay was comfortable after settling in, but the initial access issue and late response affected the first impression.

Hotel located very close to the checkpoint area. Nice room with a decent amount of space, staff were helpful with all queries. It’s right next to a small mall with eateries available plus supermarket and a Watsons at basement level. Easy to get cabs to go elsewhere in JB. Hotel check-in counter is on level 5. Small gym and pools available on level 6.

Great location conveniently located near food and leisure activities. Clean and comfy. Initially had a noisy room in tower 1 and was shifted to tower 2 once request was made. Unfortunately the bathtub kept leaking resulting in the toilet being flooded all the time. Other than that was a good stay. Had PTSD from staying at berjaya waterfront hotel the last time.

Nice hotel and clean room, but hotel does not seem ready for operation or they’ve manpower issues. When we arrived on Friday afternoon there was nobody at the reception area, I had to walk around and finally found a staff outside. He then helped us to contact his colleague, who then told us to proceed to another level. Bfast option was very limited and similarly they seemed understaffed. Location was secluded, there were no amenities around. Overall nice concept (if you like airplanes) and place is clean/new.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great stay at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru I had a really pleasant stay at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru. The room was spacious, clean, modern and very comfortable. I especially liked the apartment-style layout and the kitchenette, which made the room feel more like a home rather than a typical hotel room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the room was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities were also great, especially the swimming pool, gym and laundry facilities. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service made the experience even better. The location is also convenient, especially for those travelling between Johor Bahru and Singapore. It is close to JB Sentral and CIQ, although depending on the current road conditions, walking may not always be the most convenient option. Overall, I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Spacious room, good facilities, friendly service and a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru! 😊

Had a really good stay here. The resort is beautiful and very peaceful, especially in the evening. Everything is well maintained and the whole place just feels very relaxing. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We spent quite a lot of time just walking around the resort, chilling by the pool and enjoying the beach. Honestly, this is the kind of place where you don’t really need to plan much 😂 just come here, slow down and relax. Breakfast was really good too. Plenty of choices and we enjoyed almost everything we tried. One of my favourite parts was actually just sitting there in the morning, having breakfast slowly and enjoying the view instead of rushing anywhere. Service was good throughout our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed something, and everyone we met was very polite. The location is quite far from everything, but for me that’s not really a bad thing. If you’re coming to Desaru for a quiet getaway, then it actually works perfectly. Probably not the place if you want to go out and explore a lot, but if your plan is just eat, swim, sleep and relax, then yes 😂 Overall, we had a great time here. Good room, good food, beautiful surroundings and most importantly, very relaxing. Definitely wouldn’t mind coming back again.

We stayed here for a few nights for our honeymoon. The check-in took some time. Receptionist was helpful enough.. The room was clean and great! Breakfast was great, a lot of choices! The gym was well equipped. Walkiing distance to beachfront, not private beach area. They provide only 1 basement parking per room.

This is a good place to stay. Though can be boring for some but we always come back to this hotel. Pros 1) Big room & very spacious 2) Great pool for adults & kids 3) Great for golfer 4) It is very green..good for the eyes 5) I love the fact they have laundry self service here but bare in mind it is a bit pricey Cons 1) We had encountered room that is not well maintained but u can always asked them to change the room or clean it better 2) Nothing special about the breakfast but it keep u full! 3) This is an old hotel so have some expectation on the rundowns 4) It is far from shops so if u want to go out u can either grab or drive out
