A lil bit annoying from the toilet. Making sound like someone knocking, from the pipeline. My kids feel a lil bit terrified from that sound. Is that a common sound there? But overall, its a very satisfying accomodation. my kids enjoy with the pool. Charlie, I came across one or two Charlie ants in the toilet and sauna room.

We had a wonderful stay at Lone Pine Penang! Everything was great from start to finish. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the hotel was beautiful, and the location was perfect. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the facilities, the ambience and especially the beautiful beachfront view. Everything was well taken care of and made our stay truly relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Lone Pine Penang. We’ll definitely come back again!

The hotel is very new, spacious, and the facilities inside are also brand new. Every staff member is very polite. There's a large balcony with sunset views and an infinity sea view. The breakfast is also very rich, offering a variety of international buffet dishes. There's also an infinity pool where you can watch the sunset. One evening, we even opted for the buffet dinner at the hotel, which had a great selection and delicious food. It's just a 5-minute drive to Pantai Batu Ferringhi, where there are many different restaurants offering various cuisines, including beachfront dining, where you can enjoy fire shows at night. There's also a night market nearby for a stroll!

We booked PARKROYAL Penang through Trip.com for our little daughter’s 4th birthday, and we honestly had a wonderful stay. I wasn’t sure if booking through Trip.com would make any difference in terms of service, but the hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly, warm and helpful throughout our stay. The highlight for us was the little birthday surprise for our daughter. 🎂❤️ The hotel prepared a lovely birthday cake for her, which was such a sweet gesture and really made her day. It may seem like a small thing, but for us as parents, it made the trip extra special. The hotel is also very family-friendly. The beach is right there, the swimming pools and kids’ facilities kept our daughter entertained, and there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was quite convenient. The location is slightly away from the busier parts of Penang, but personally I liked that. It gave us a more relaxed holiday atmosphere, which was exactly what we wanted for a family trip. Most importantly, the service really stood out. Everyone we met was genuinely welcoming and attentive, and we felt well taken care of from check-in until check-out. The hotel boasts beautiful scenery, and you'll often encounter various small animals like squirrels, lizards, and even troops of monkeys. The air by the sea is fresh, and the breakfast spread is extensive, offering a wide variety of international cuisines to choose from.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Crowne Plaza Penang Straits City. The hotel is relatively quiet, and the room has a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I really liked the lighting in the room. There are warm yellow lights near the bed, which make the room feel very chill and cosy at night. On the other hand, the lighting around the bathroom and mirror area is white and bright, so it does not feel dim at all. The blackout curtains also work well, so the room does not get too bright or hot from the sunlight during the day. There are quite a lot of mirrors around the bathroom area, which makes the space feel bigger visually. The room also comes with a 3x magnifying mirror that can be adjusted to different angles. Once adjusted properly, it is very clear and convenient to use. I also like that the mirrors do not face directly towards the bed. One small inconvenience is that there is no chair placed directly in front of the mirror, so if you want to sit down while doing your makeup, you may need to move the chair over yourself. The shower area and toilet are separated, which is convenient. However, I felt that the toilet ventilation could be slightly better, as smells do not disappear very quickly. The amenities provided were quite complete as well. If I remember correctly, they also provided body lotion and hair conditioner in addition to the usual toiletries. The service was friendly and helpful. The staff were polite and proactively offered to help carry our luggage. We also arrived when a room happened to be available, and they kindly allowed us to check in earlier than the standard check-in time, which made the whole experience even more convenient. Location-wise, the hotel is a little further away from the main tourist attractions in George Town. You will also most likely need to take a Grab when going out for food, although the rides are generally not very far. There is also a 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient if you need drinks, snacks or other basic items. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the comfort, lighting, service and spacious feel of the room. It is a nice option if you prefer somewhere quieter and do not mind taking Grab to the main attractions.

I had an excellent stay at G Hotel Gurney in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great view. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Penang. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to Gurney Plaza and within walking distance of many popular eateries. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. The Executive Lounge was a great addition, offering a quiet and comfortable space to unwind with complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of local and international dishes. Overall, everything from the room quality to the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose G Hotel Gurney again on my next visit to Penang and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The room was absolutely beautiful, with a spacious bathroom and a bathtub. The pool was huge, and everything about this place was amazing. There were also plenty of mirrors in the room, which I loved. Definitely a place I’d come back to again.

I visited Penang a few months ago, and three months later, I returned and stayed at this hotel. A few days before check-in, the hotel staff sent all the relevant information via WhatsApp, which was very clear. We took a Grab from Penang Airport and arrived at the hotel in the early morning. We picked up our room cards at the front desk in the hotel lobby. The hotel looked beautiful and impressive from the outside. We stayed for four nights on the 30th floor. Upon entering, the room felt spacious and comfortable, and being on a high floor, the view was very open. Although there was no bottled water provided in the room, there was a water dispenser, which solved the issue of drinking water. Character-themed tableware was also provided. However, there was a broom and dustpan set placed in the center of the room, which felt a bit odd. As for the not-so-good aspects, some areas weren't clean enough, so we had to clean them ourselves. The hotel did not provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, or even disposable slippers; only a pair of non-disposable plastic slippers were available. So, for those who need disposable slippers, be sure to bring your own.

My stay here was very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, close to all the attractions in the Old Town, making dining and shopping very convenient. I stayed in the Heritage Wing, which has historical artifacts on display in the common areas, perfect for a quick browse if you're interested. The staff were friendly and responsive, providing daily newspapers and updating the mini-bar. The breakfast is made-to-order, and while the selection isn't huge, it's served piping hot, which is a big plus. They also offer complimentary afternoon tea and evening cocktails. The only downside was a strange noise in the room at night, and the soundproofing between floors wasn't great. If that's a concern for you, perhaps try the new building; I haven't stayed there, so I can't comment.
