GGuest UserThe location is excellent, with Ipoh Parade just next door and directly connected to the hotel. It is also only a short Grab ride from popular attractions such as Concubine Lane. The Chinese restaurant on Level 1 is very good—spacious, comfortable, and not crowded. The prices are reasonable, and my family thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. The breakfast spread offers a good variety of choices. Our package also included supper, featuring simple but comforting items such as red bean and black rice dessert soup, plain porridge, and warm soya milk—a nice way to end the night. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would gladly return.

AAnonymous UserStay there for 3d2n. one of the best hotel i've stayed. my 3y son loves the pool and the beach. the beach is so beautiful and clean. breakfast needs to come early because school holiday, please consider include dinner during your booking because the place is very far from the town. overall i will repeat this hotel again

GGuest UserOur stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. The hotel and the surrounding are stunning, the staff is super friendly and the facilities could not have been better. Upon our arrival, our rental car had a flat tyre and the staff was so helpful and fixed this for us immediately. As travellers from Europe this is an excellent service which is so helpful when you do not speak the local language to communicate with for instance the people at the garage. Additionally, we received a free upgrade of our hotel room from the lake villa to the garden villa, for two nights in a row. This villa with private pool and garden is stunning. All the caves and the surrounding facilities are so impressive and nature and luxury blends together perfectly. This is a must visit.

JJSadlerThe hotel was excellent in some ways, but really lacking in others. The highlights of the hotel are the exceptional breakfast, the best I’ve had in SE Asia, and its delicious desserts and pastries in the lobby. As well as the very good service, with two things coming to mind, one being a free room upgrade, and two allowing me to go to breakfast 30 minutes early (6:30am vs 7:00am). The hotel is very aesthetic and unique in style too, and the tech is certainly interesting and used intelligently. However, they also make some bizarre decisions given they’re a 5* hotel. Firstly, why there is no soap in the bathroom I’ll never know, I shouldn’t have to go in the shower each time to get body wash to wash my hands each time. The shower would progressively get colder with a couple of minutes and be quite cold by 5 minutes in. The bed is far from luxury feeling, with it quite hard, though reasonably comfortable and the duvet cover had some marks on it. Finally, the tech means there are a lot of unnecessary lights around the room, which makes the room a lot less dark. Overall, I would have expected the hard product to be better within a hotel of this class but the soft product was definitely 5*.

GGuest UserMarina Island Boat transfer easy, although I feel a little expensive. Coffee was cold, they had wrong check in information and I almost tripped on uneven block surface exiting building to boat. Check in completed at reception , with correction to booking. We were in a lower tropical garden villa, which is cheapest room. We were lucky to have part sea view and part back of pool view. Other lower villas in this category, not so good a view. This said, room was gorgeous, despite dead moth in sunken bath area. All the staff were fantastic and helpful. Chatted to some people in over water villas, who were disappointed you could not swim in sea from villa, nor enter sea from beach around jetty , due to sea urchins. On the other side of the Island is Emerrald bay. Absolutely stunning! Beautiful beach and sea to swim in. Lots of space for sun beds, but everyday ran out by 11am! Suggest they get some more! Forfeited scrumptious in all restaurants.

AAnonymous UserI stayed during a public holiday and school holiday period, so a large crowd was expected. Unfortunately, the check-in process took over two hours. I queued from 6:00 PM and only checked in around 8:30 PM. Initially, there were two staff members handling check-ins, but later only one remained. Credit to the staff member on duty he stayed calm and professional despite the heavy crowd and queue cutting incidents. The issue was clearly a lack of manpower and planning. Management should anticipate higher guest volumes during long weekends and streamline the check-in process. The unit itself was clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but the check-in experience needs significant improvement during peak periods.
