It was a pleasant surprise to stumbled across this gem. The hotel was just situated inside the Li Jiang ancient town which makes it very convenient to travel and walk around the town even in the wee hours without the need to worry about taking didi! The hotel staff has contacted us 4 days before to ensure our smooth arrival. The staff was very sweet, friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs before, during and even after our stay. She even assisted to recommend us some tours around Li Jiang and also when we were planning to travel up to Shangrila. The tours she recommended and assisted to book were all great! This has helped us tremendously to save our time research and plan on our own ☺️. The room we booked is with private balcony, it has fantastic view and the room were clean and comfortable to stay. Will definitely come back here next time and recommend to my friends and family of this place to stay if they ever plan to come to Li Jiang!

Lokasinya hebat, betul-betul di daerah beli-belah, dengan banyak pilihan makanan halal berdekatan. Ia juga terletak di kawasan pejalan kaki sahaja, yang bermaksud tiada akses kereta terus—tempat menghantar atau mengambil mungkin agak jauh dari hotel tetapi masih boleh diurus. Kemudahannya baik kerana kami hanya memerlukan bilik, tetapi jika anda mencari lebih banyak kemudahan, anda patut menyemak semula. Secara keseluruhan, hotel yang bagus!

Saya benar-benar mengesyorkan hotel ini untuk menginap.

Bilik ini sangat bersih dan baru dihias. Bilik mandi bersih dan suhu air mandian stabil dan sangat panas. Ia juga dilengkapi dengan rumah pintar dan projektor, yang sangat sesuai untuk berehat di hotel. Kelemahan: Biliknya kecil, dan bagasi di bilik paling murah tidak boleh dihamparkan. Ia masih agak sempit selepas menghabiskan 15 yuan untuk menaik taraf. Jika anda tidak membawa apa-apa bagasi dan hanya tidur untuk satu malam, itu tidak mengapa. Makcik saya terlupa membersihkan pembetung itu tersumbat ketika saya sedang mandi saya mencungkil seikat rambut sebelum air memenuhi gunung emas.

I didn't regret choosing this hotel. Everything is new, smart and clean! Location wise is quite good too. I'm a muslim traveller. So to wake to shuncheng Street is about 10mins. Not bad I feel. The staff is really considerate, gave me slippers and toiletries for the kids. And they allowed me late checkout as well, truly appreciate their gesture. My only gripe is the steep entrance to the hotel. But other than that, all is good for this hotel! Love it!

New hotel with smart features! Located very near to the kunming railway station, walking distance of 5mins. I booked it last minute because I arrived at 2am and have a train to Lijiang at 7am. This hotel is perfect for this!

The owner and staffs are very helpful even before you stay. Gave good advice for the trip. Clean accommodations, good view rooms, looking out to see Yulong Snow Mountain view as shown in the picture. Especially the 5th floor has a beautiful view. In the evening you can go see the sunset. This place gives me a very warm and calm feeling. There’re a hand -drawn butter tea from Tibet prepare for guests, and you don’t miss afternoon tea was really delicious. I highly recommended this place! I love to play with little zhōngqiū as well, she’s very friendly 😁

Very conveniently located. The manager of the property was extremely friendly and helpful and helped me plan my trip and my tours around Lijiang. The facilities in the room are fabulous. A few steps to climb to get there, so not recommended for older people, but other than that, everything about my stay here was fantastic.

Location is inside the old town, just 2 mins walk from the entrance. Room is clean and comfortable. We were greeted by Xiao Bai whenever we return to the hotel.The host was extremely helpful to our needs and requests. She helped us to book and arrange for a tour to the Snow Mountain, booked Didi to the train station and even gave us some flower cakes when we checked out. Will surely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Sangat sesuai untuk orang yang membawa hanya sedikit pakaian. Terdapat dispenser air panas/suam di dalam bilik Sangat bagus. Hotel ini berhampiran dengan bandar lama, boleh berjalan ke sana. Terdapat restoran, kedai roti, dan kedai-kedai super berdekatan.

Enjoyed are stay here, great location in the old town, consider though you will have to carry your luggage to the accommodation as no cars can go here. Staff very helpful using WeChat to communicate with us. Shower door was missing (can see there used to be one) so when sorting stuff wet the bathroom floor. Not a big issue but maybe with fixing. Bed comfy with electric blanket for added heat as the room can get quite cold. AC unit to also heat the room. Can recommend

Yunxi definitely is the best place we have stayed throughout our 12 days trip. This is mainly contributed by the warm hospitality of 十三少. 十三少is the best host one could have ever asked for. He cautioned us of the landmines to avoid, helped us in our preparation for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as we have elderly in our group. He suggested restaurants where it suits our Singaporean&Malaysian taste buds and very friendly to our pockets. In the day when we were up at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, he texted us to check if we were doing alright and if the elderly was feeling alright. In his place, he fed us well with endless supply of pomegranate, pu’er tea, snacks and his secret stash of 白酒. 十三少is more than a host to us, he’s a friend, which we will come back to whenever we are at Lijiang. Cost performance (性价比） is definitely very high with high quality bathroom ware (Kohler), Dyson hairdryer, projector tv, mini washing machine and dryer in the room, comfortable beds and the rooms are super spacious. Basic amenities are all well prepared. We will definitely choose this place again should we decide to come back to Lijiang given the warm hospitality by 十三少。

The location and design of the hotel are perfect for those wanting to experience Lijiang Ancient Town. There’s a lovely courtyard where you can relax enjoying a view of the ancient town — I was lucky to be there during New Year’s and got to see fireworks from there! I contacted the owner a day before my arrival for baggage pickup, and he help carry my bags to the hotel. Didi rides are easy to book, but be prepared for a bit of walking — it’s recommended for those with good knees, as you’ll need to hike a little to comeback to the hotel when heading down to the town center. The owner welcomed us with tea while we waited to check in, provided a steam iron when we needed one, and the guesthouse also offers washing machines (though there’s no dryer). He was very responsive to every inquiry and made an effort to chat with us, even though we used a translator app to communicate. On our last day, he even gave us free tea and helped carry our luggage to the Didi waiting point. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lijiang!

I highly recommend this hotel for its amazing service. We were impressed with the level of service, especially considering the slight language barrier. Although English was not the first language of the staff, they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Whenever I had a question or request, they were patient, friendly, and used translation tools to communicate clearly. They made us feel comfortable and valued, which is something we truly appreciate. The front desk staff even made extra effort to ensure we get the ticket to JDSM. The service was so attentive, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about making our stay as pleasant as possible. It's not always easy to navigate a language difference, but they turned it into a non-issue with their kindness and professionalism. Good Job.

The location is just outside Dali Ancient City, walking distance to Ancient City and travel to other places is convenient by taxi. Easy access to lots of restaurants and stores outside the main road. The hotel is not big but is very beautiful and very special. The front desk and customer service are top-notch and helpful! Breakfast is good and nice. The rooms are clean, have nice beds and are quiet.

I had an amazing stay at Yutang Luxury Resort Hotel, located in the heart of Dali’s Gu Cheng. The location itself is a huge plus—nestled within the charming old town, it’s easy to take your time and explore the vibrant surroundings. The hotel serves a simple but delightful breakfast, and I found it to be just perfect for starting the day. It’s not overly extravagant, but it’s incredibly satisfying. One of the best things about the resort is its proximity to bars and local nightlife—just a short walk away, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere of Gu Cheng until late. The staff at Yutang were attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for anyone visiting Dali. It offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warmth.

This hotel is very unique and warm, it feels like home and represents the Bai's culture. The location is so great, it's so close to the main road where the bus from the train station stops and where the bus to Lijiang gets on (only 2-3 minutes, you just need to cross the road). Not only that, it is also within walking distance to the dali ancient town, it's actually in the area of ancient town. The lady owner speaks english really well!! And in addition christina, the front desk lady + the front desk guy helped me booking my bus ticket to lijiang, i am so grateful.

11/10 great hospitality, awesome staff members. The view was awesome too, and the room was extremely cozy and comfortable. There was also a projector for you to watch movies. My family members and I were very surprised when we entered our room because the view was so beautiful. The sunrise is something you cannot miss! They even served us Pu Er tea and other types of tea, took the time to serve us tea and chat with us. Even the toilet seat was warm, and there was also a heater in the room. Overall 11/10 stay, would come back again!

This is one of the best and friendly hotels I have stayed so far. The front desk, and especially, the hotel restaurant staffs are exceptional helpful and polite. Location of the hotel is strategic too. Inside the ancient city but not in the heart where it can be very noisy. This place is quiet. Although there are many good restaurants within the ancient city, but I must say, their restaurants food and environment are the best. We had 2 dinners and 1 lunch at their restaurant, no regrets.

Pada waktu malam, duduk di atas katil tatami, dengar muzik, lihat Tasik Erhai mengalir perlahan, dan rasai aliran masa. Kemudahan di dalam bilik adalah sangat lengkap. Terdapat pelembap (sangat penting untuk orang selatan!) dan pembesar suara adalah dari Dyson. ! Perkhidmatan hotel juga sangat bertimbang rasa Untuk minum petang dan pencuci mulut selamat malam, butler akan bertanya dalam kumpulan jika anda memerlukannya pada waktu yang ditetapkan mereka di dalam peti sejuk supaya anda boleh memilikinya apabila anda kembali. Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.
