Hotel Dengan Breakfast di Quebec Province, Canada

Our plans to Quebec City by VIA rail arrives quite late at night so decided to stay at a major chain hotel where it’s easier to find the way. Hilton Quebec is just 5minutes drive from the VIA Rail Canada station, yet it’s on a steep hillside ( and it’s located right outside of the Old Quebec fort ), you will be climbing up and down the hills in order to go sightseeing the Old Quebec. Hilton overall are very reliable major-chain hotels worldwide, but at the same time it won’t have any particular charms of the local uniqueness of the region, so if you are looking for a charming place resembling Old Quebec, this place might not be your first choice.. but anyways we liked our stay here because of a hot shower and clean rooms for a reasonable prices. Our room was facing opposite the famous Le Chateau Frontenac view, so it’s better to request beforehand if you are keen on staying on the Chateau view.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Samsun Montréal. The place is clean, well-located, and comfortable. However, a major downside was that the bedding wasn’t made up beforehand. This was quite surprising since many other hostels in Montreal, even cheaper ones, provide this as a standard service. It’s especially inconvenient when you’re on an upper bunk as it creates noise and disturbs others. It would definitely be much more comfortable if beds were prepared in advance.

Bon accueil, chambre propre, mais petit bémol pour le petit déjeuner : pas assez diversifié (pas de fruits par exemple) et pas en quantité.

The service was truly wonderful — the staff were warm, attentive, and made the entire stay feel effortless and relaxing. The location is ideal for exploring Old Quebec, and the hotel’s charming atmosphere really enhances the overall experience. The little shop inside the hotel is also a lovely bonus — beautifully curated with quality local items, perfect for souvenirs or small treats. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Quebec!

위치가 환상적이다. 샤또 프롱트낙이 눈앞에 바로 보이고 올드 퀘벡의 중심에 위치하고 있어 어디든 이동하기 쉽다. 벨보이부터 발레파킹 담당자, 데스크 직원까지 모두가 불어, 영어에 능통하고 친절하다. 호텔 자체는 오래되어서 룸의 구조 자체는 낡았으나 새로 리모델링하여 깨끗하고 단정하다. 물론 샤또 프롱트낙에 숙박하면 좋겠지만 여건상 힘들다면 클래랜던 호텔이 최고의 대안이 될 것이다.

Bon hôtel. Les lit est super confortable, l'accueil et le service super. L'hôtel a besoin de rafraîchissement mais tout le confortable est au rendez-vous. Il est extrêmement bien situé entre Gatineau et Ottawa. Il y a un parking intérieur pour 14$. Très bon hôtel.

The guy at the FD who checked us in was very nice. He was very helpful that when we noticed we don’t have a kettle in room, he went up to our floor and got us a new one. The only downside was the cleanliness of the room. Hair was found beside the window and the duvet cover was a bit stained. But overall we enjoyed the stay. :)

Whilst the rooms are of a good size and the beds comfortable, the rooms need a lot of updating. The blinds did not fit the windows properly therefore letting in a lot of light at night, the safe did not work, the iron board leg had snapped leaving a sharp burr at one end and the toilet was not fixed properly to the wall. And because there are staff strikes ongoing, reception is regularly left unattended.  In the plus side, the restaurant in the lobby (which is not run by the hotel) is very good!

First, the bad news - on many sites, it lists this hotel as ”parking available”. Parking is available, just not at the hotel. You must park in the underground parking across the street. The good news is that it is fairly inexpensive. We checked in around 4pm, and checked out at 7am two days later, and it was only $36 for parking. The breakfast is pretty standard - bagels, toast, cereal. And the rooms do not have a microwave or coffee maker. However, as the breakfast area is always open, you can get coffee, juice or hot water, and use the microwave any time. The room was good sized, with a small fridge. And I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel. It also has a great location - walking distance to everything. We had two very good nights at the hotel, and I would not hesitate to book it again.
