This is definitely the best resort in Manado. Although it is a little far from the city (but the absolutely beautiful sea view must be far from the city), it has its own pier and dive shop. Who knows my family, why there are no Chinese people staying here. I went to stay at 2 pm, and I arrived more than an hour early. There were welcome drinks and sandwiches (I really didn't expect sandwiches), which was very considerate. The resort is small but very beautiful, with a very, very good sunset, and saw the blues moment. I booked a waterfront room, and the sea is right outside the door. It was suffocating. Where can I find such a room at this price! ! ! And the room is very large. I didn't take a photo of the shower area. It was clean and large, and the decoration was unique. (Can you take a new photo of the official website? Your resort is amazing, and the photos in Ctrip are too ugly) Dinner starts at 7 o'clock. Because it is far from the city, I basically choose to eat in the hotel. The price is OK and the taste is OK. After all, I am really not used to the dishes in Manado, but this one is OK. This must be a great resort for divers. It has its own dive shop, its own speedboat, and daily dive site itinerary. It really exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come to Cocotinos again next time I come to Manado. The staff said that their boss is Italian, and he wrote me a handwritten thank-you letter when I left💌This kind of service is really touching. I hope your business will get better and better. If you’re foreigner or maybe national tourist, you may consider about the privacy and comfort here. This hotel are really great with the beauty of the nature, but it ruined with the local guest. You’ll see some guest smoking in not smoke area as such as pool, the poorest is, hotel staff do nothing with it, even though there are big sign of no smoking there. The worst are you will hear very loud annoying music around 6.am, and the funniest is the music used just by some people were doing zumba near guest room. And when asking for help to hotel guest, we get answer “there are scheduled zumba”, how tf, guest will know there will be scheduled zumba. To be fair, cleanliness is good, food are average.

Wow..the AMARIS Hotel really surprised us. It was the cheapest of 5 Hotels of our Trip to Manado and surrounding and surprised us the most. It is perfect located in the ”Kawasan Megamas”, close to restaurants, shops (unfortunately the second biggest Mall - MEGAMALL was closed due to a fire damage), the seaside and meeting points for the people of Manado to enjoy the evening. In the same building (just aut the main entrance and around the right corner) is a supermarket for all important needs and fantastic Cappuccino (for only 15.000 Rp.) The building is very new, the rooms and bathes are spotless clean. There is a small pool with a great fiew over Manado bay towards Manado Tua and Bunaken. The breakfast selection is sufficient ...but most important: every offered dish tastes fantastic and in many aspects it was better there than in many ”Star”-hotels with bigger choice but boring food. And they also had an egg station for fresh eggs and a kettle of ”Bubur Manado” (or: Tinutuan.) a must try. The Staff was friendly and efficient. Allthough there was no water kettle in the room there was a hot/cold water dispenser on each floor. Any disadvantages? O.k.: It is important to consider that the rooms are very small. Especially for two long distance travellers with big bagpacks. But for some days it´s o.k.. But: The bed is comfortable, the TV offers youtube and the aircon works perfectly. One issue for weekends...directly beside th hotel is a big place. When we were there there were concerts on two evenings - so it can be a little loud (but in all kawasan Megamas) on weekends or special events. All in all: Currently the best value for money in Kawasan Megamas and a good place to have all the comfort of a hotel within the city before continuing rto beach-, mountain- or jungle hotels. The sea view from this place is absolutely stunning. I stayed here for two nights in Manado as a layover before going diving in Raja Ampat. I arrived at the hotel at 7 AM on the day of check-in and was able to pay an extra 250,000 IDR at the front desk for an early check-in, and they even upgraded my room. On the day I left, my flight was at 8 PM, and I paid another 250,000 IDR to extend my check-out until 4 PM. Overall, everything was great, and the front desk service was excellent. However, the bathroom felt a bit old and run down, probably because the hotel itself is older and the bathroom maintenance hasn't been great. There's an Italian restaurant downstairs called Amicoo which was quite good, although the service was a bit slow.

They were not just attentive, but genuinely caring and went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect. Whether it was the friendly greetings at the front desk, the impeccable service from the kitchen team, or the extraordinary gesture from the general manager who even provided transportation for us in his own car to the pier area for our next destination, every interaction left us feeling valued and welcomed. Despite their limited English proficiency, the staff's dedication shone through in every interaction. -I encountered a mishap during my trek to Mount Awu, where I misplaced my instant camera. A local found it, and with the help of Gilbert, one of the hotel staff members, the camera was safely retrieved and ensured it was in good condition. Additionally, when I slipped while trekking, my local guide called Gilbert, who promptly drove himself to arrange for me to be transported back to the hotel, ensuring my safety and well-being.These acts of kindness and exceptional service truly made my stay at Tahuna Beach Hotel and Resort unforgettable. Favehotel is easily the best and most reliable place to stay in Bitung. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Their breakfast is surprisingly good with plenty of choices to start the day right. It’s also the only hotel in Bitung with a swimming pool, which is perfect for relaxing after work or exploring. Overall, the only true hotel standard in the city.

Such an old hotel, it's my first time staying at a Four Points with such poor facilities. It's right next to a large shopping mall, so dining is very convenient. The sea view room also offers a nice view.

Hotel was in an excellent location with my room facing the full sea view. Furniture is dated but overall cleanliness is acceptable. Breakfast wasn't fantastic but not shabby either.

It's an unreally perfect place for this price. Everything is clean, breakfast is perfect, and the staff is very polite. The room was very big. So, for me, it was very unusual, the hotel for this price could be so nice. They even have a working table inside of the room. You can really relax at this place. Also, they have bikes for rent if you need it.

This place was a great experience at first--the welcome drink and free breakfast were nice experiences, and the staff was incredibly personal and warm. The room was a standard normal-to-high end solo traveler or coulples ranges. Then came the wild, endless brawl in the hallway outside my room. I was afraid to even open my door. Then, while checking me out, I was told I'd need to pay basically one more night's work in order to rectify that I was ”a menace” during my stay. Justifications for this decision included minor spots left on the toilet sheet” and a picture of a wet bathmat I'd left on the floor. Next came wild proclamations that I had urinated all over the floor (according to them this happened the day before arrival); that I had left puke all over the room; and, most audatioualy, the claim that I had started that riot (during which at least two people were arrested and I had not left my room. An hour of arguing later, we were told that we had to play. Ruthless, lying, **** management, but could be a great place. For now, stay away.
