After the long and soggy Christmas I endured I decided to book a lovely family holiday to Nepal. We woke up horribly early for our flight and hopped on the local bus to the airport. On arrival it was overall chilly and wet. I don't want to traumatise anyone so I'll give an overall airport summary. Children screaming , adults crying, dogs dying. We waited a long and painful two hours and went to hand in our wet and girthy luggage to be told it's too heavy.They are obviously lying to my face as my husband tong weighted the luggage pre leaving. I believe if anything it's from all the rain getting it soggy and very moist. After removing some kids toys from the suitcase it was the correct weight. We move towards boarding and hop right on the plane for a ride. DISASTER STRUCK! My youngest baby andrew was separated from us at boarding where we didn't find him until we had sat down in the seats. I am someone that suffers very horribly with crippling anxiety and losing my baby did NOT help.#dobetter. I don't want to yap on about the flight so I'll also summarise it for you . Soggy food, screaming kids and smelly feet. Upon arrival the private transport we had booked came to take us to the hotel. Hot , sweaty and sticky is all I can say. When we arrive at the lovely looking hotel we enter and give our bags and jackets to the staff. We go up to the counter and are told our room isn't ready yet as we arrived 4 hours before check in. I politely explained I have two young sons who are shattered and emotionally drained from the soggy smelly flight. She explained to me that if I wanted a room immediately it would have to be a DOWNGRADE. I explained to her that 4 beds is just not enough for the four of us as my youngest Andrew prefers to have the option of two because of his autism and he's just simply getting too old to share with mummy.One thing led to another and I am verbally abusing the woman at the counter. I was then asked to leave but peacefully protested in the corner with my lovely family until they allowed the upgrade. When we hike up the set of stairs to the room we are greeted by wrongly folded duvets, towels hidden in cupboards and the smell of cleaning products. As I make my way onto the balcony I dip my long leg into the hot tub where a hair politely floats up and wraps itself disrespectfully around my big toe. With a few phone calls all of this was sorted and we made our way down to the pool. We spot another young, kind , loving, caring , respectful family just like ours. We make our way over and William (oldest son) begins talking to a girl. Not impressed. She smiles at me in a rude way and asks how my days have been (I'm already having a terrible day) I reply well and she whisks him away to the bar. Bare in mind my son is far too young to be drinking as he has only just become allowed to around 6 years ago. Later on William comes running back to me only to tell me his little Alberta was only an Alberto and he only likes girls. I turn around

This hotel is inside the country park so you have to hire a car to go in and out. So you need to stock up with snacks and sweets before coming in. So, the only option you have is to take their package to the activities. I see tourists inside this hotel but mostly on tour, having their own packages. As travellers not bound by any travel agency, our choice is limited to: Jeep safari + canoeing. you can have the Tuala tribe dance and bbq snacks if you add more. Before signing up, I thought I could have more like jungle walk, ride on the elephant into the jungle, etc… outside the hotel is the country park so you can hear the animals at night which is good. But since there are trees, you quite can’t see the river from the balcony so it is not like you sit in the balcony and you can see the river and animals right outside. This hotel is first class for the cleanliness and the room. But for travellers, probably staying outside the country park has more options. My bf and I did not take their buffet lunch or dinner (which cost 2500rs / person) but insisted on a-la-cart. The food is not bad. And there are many waiters and waitresses to serve you.

Very good food and hospitality. They gave us food in buffet and also added special request when we had any. Included all our comfort in the stay also. Worth staying and good itinerary. Comfortable and fun environment. It was a good stay and good choice of itinerary

I recently stayed at Jungle Crown in Chitwan, Bharatpur, Nepal, and it was an exceptional experience. The service was lovely, with staff demonstrating the best hospitality I've encountered. The food was delicious and diverse, catering to a wide range of tastes. The location is perfect, providing a tranquil escape surrounded by nature. Everything about our stay was enjoyable, from the comfortable accommodations to the exciting activities. I will definitely be back again!

so, far so good resort at hetauda. Good atmosphere really enjoyed with my friends. they are also available with cottages at garden area really beautiful and amazing resort with full of parking space and natural beauty avocados and orchids are main highlights of their garden.

Staying in Vivanta Hotel, Chitwan was fantastic. Clean rooms, delicious and healthy dining experience. supper friendly staffs, and specially Sourav is so attentive and available to improve the experience while dining. So, I highly recommend to choose Vivanta as your favorite place.

Suraj and the family at Hotel National Park welcome you as a sibling and treat you exactly that way. I spent only two nights to my own regret as the service and the activities were wonderful. From the moment I arrive Suraj organized my safari, sunset walk, cultural show etc. while I'm sure many hotels in the area offer this service, Suraj did so with genuine enthusiasm and excitement for me. I saw Rhinos, crocodiles, a bear, a leopard (incredibly rare) and even a wild elephant crossing by the hotel at night which Suraj let all of us know about so we could all see it. While the rooms are modest, the service and sweetness from the whole Hotel National Park team was impeccable. Suraj even saw me off at the bus stop and sent me recommendations for my next destination. Thanks for a wonderful too-short stay!

The food was excellent. Rooms were quite clean. The renovated & covered restrooms seem to be much more comfortable. Pool area & gardens are well maintained. Staffs are quite service oriented & helpful. The Wi-Fi connection wasn’t strong enough to get through some rooms.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Meghauli Serai. Even though our plane was five hours late leaving from Kathmandu, we were greeted with smiles at the airport and at the hotel. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The large bathroom and balcony were an additional benefit. We were thrilled to know the hotel has a policy of four garments free per day, per person for laundering our clothes which was greatly appreciated. Every meal was delicious with amazing detail to their presentation. When dinning, Sanjay always greeted us with a smile and was very accommodating with any requests. He was an ambassador for their resort including leading the guest in dance cultural dinner show. Buddhi, our safari guide was personable and incredibly knowledgeable as he led us on our trek into the park. He made sure we were able to see a rhino up close. Amit, as the Hotel Manager, you have an amazing staff. We appreciate your continued interest in our stay including making sure to adjust our arrival and departure coordination impacts due to delayed flights. No easy task. We enjoyed our stay greatly!

Barathi jungle lodge is a luxurious way to see the splendour of Nepal's Chitwan national park in an ecologically friendly way that also supports the local community. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the local safari guides on both the river cruise and jeep safari are so knowledgeable and have such good eyesight! Our guide Rajiv spotted a tiger pawprint whilst we were speeding down a dirt track at 30mph! A special shout out to Bikash Rana Magar who was so attentive and helpful during our stay and always made sure I had a beer at the evening local dance shows(!) the rooms are gorgoeus; steaming hot showers, filtered coffee, crisp bedding and even a hot water bottle tucked in at turn down (we were here january 2025 when there is a chill at night). Each room also has a private balcony overlooking the national park to try and see some wildlife over a coffee. Otherwise, teas, cappuccinos and espressos are all included and available at barista. The food was fantasic with bugfet for breakfast, lunch and dinner which staff member Tej oversaw. On the final night we also had a dinner outside surrounded by candles and fires. Beautiful.

Best property in Chitwan with natural jungle feels, wonderful location , well behaved staffs , yummy foods with actual 5 stars Viber. Jagatpur Lodge gave us positive vibes , jolly mood, refreshing energy and a calm mind. Thanks to all Staffs and special thanks to our guide Mr. Suman ( very nice and kind person with high knowledge in Jungle Safari). I suggest all to visit this wonderful place once. ❤️

Our experience at River Bank Resort was exceptional. The hotel is well-maintained, offers excellent amenities, and serves delicious food. A highlight of our trip was our guide, Babu Dai, whose expertise and enthusiasm made our activities truly enjoyable. We highly recommend the resort just for his services alone. I stayed here for two nights. This resort hotel overlooks the River Rapti and it was possible to view wildlife, including on one occasion a one-horned rhino from my room. My room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. My tours within the Chitwan National Park were organised by the hotel and included walks in the immediate locality, a river journey, a walk in the jungle and a long journey in a four wheel drive viewing vehicle. I thoroughly enjoyed them. A memorable and most enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at Chitwan Riverside Resort for a business retreat, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The resort’s location is both scenic and serene, providing the perfect backdrop for a productive and relaxing stay. The accommodations were top-notch. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and featured all the modern amenities one could ask for, including high-speed internet which was essential for my work. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a busy day. The resort’s conference facilities were exceptional. The meeting rooms were equipped with state-of-the-art technology and were arranged to suit our specific needs. The staff was extremely helpful and ensured that everything ran smoothly, from setting up presentations to providing refreshments. During our downtime, the resort offered a variety of leisure activities. The fitness center was well-maintained, and the spa provided a much-needed escape with its range of treatments. The dining options were equally impressive, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. The sunset Restaurant was a highlight, offering delicious cuisine and excellent service. Overall, Chitwan Riverside Resort provided an ideal environment for a business retreat. The combination of excellent facilities, attentive staff, and beautiful surroundings made our stay productive and enjoyable. Great service, beautiful hotel with comfy beds and linens. Food was yummy both in the bar and the restaurant. Awesome breakfast buffet with everything you would want to start your elephant safari day adventure. The national park entrance for the elephant rides is about a half hour from the hotel. Hotel has a taxi service for an additional fee. Super attentive staff who will accommodate all of your needs while staying at the Siraichuli Hotel. Safe and secure with entrance guards. Definitely recommend!
