Wuzhen is open year-round, but Xizha and Dongzha have different opening hours. If you want to catch Xizha's beautiful night views, I'd suggest arriving in the afternoon so you have enough time to explore before the lanterns light up!

You can take a high-speed train from ✅Hangzhou East Station to 📍Tongxiang Station in around 20–30 minutes, then continue by bus or taxi to Wuzhen.

The hotel is located by the canal, and the front desk staff were very kind, proactively upgrading our room. The room was spacious, and the air conditioning was comfortable. It's very close to the Three Pagodas Park, and other attractions are just a short taxi ride away. On Saturday, there was a boat tour activity for just over 300 per person. Breakfast was almost half Western, half Chinese, with a decent variety of items that tasted alright. I particularly remember the fresh meat 'shaomai' (steamed dumplings), which were quite delicious. The waitstaff were also prompt in clearing tables. I saw an outdoor pool, long and narrow, with not many people swimming in it. Overall, it's a typical, decent five-star hotel.DariJPY 9,542

As an international five-star brand, the hotel's facilities and services are excellent. The view from the executive floor is also great. It would be even better if the afternoon tea selection could be a bit richer. The staff are all very enthusiastic. There's a tall young lady in the executive lounge who was really nice; she saw we had a large group and reserved seats for us in advance. Overall, the experience was quite good.
The hotel is located about a 15-20 minute drive north of Jiaxing South Station. There are many hotels of similar caliber nearby, which probably means the location is pretty decent, haha.
One minor detail is that the TV in the room doesn't support screen mirroring, you can only watch CCTV channels. However, this didn't significantly impact the stay.
The higher floors are very quiet. Breakfast and the laundry room are on the 10th floor, which is very convenient, and the breakfast staff lady has an incredibly good service attitude 👍DariJPY 7,015

Location was perfect for what I needed. The traffic around this area is very little so this contributes to a quiet area for a hotel. There are many restaurants, bars and convenience stores nearby. The hotel has a running machine and washing machines for the guests to use and the lobby is tastefully decorated with friendly and helpful staff (if you cannot speak Chinese then there will be a language barrier). The room, although small, is tastefully decorated with a king size bed and large TV. It also has a small sofa and table. The shower had adequate water pressure. The downsides were that the room was not well enough cleaned and I found lots of hairs on the floor in the room and in the shower area. Ramada is a well-known hotel chain, and this location is great. It's close to Nanhu Avenue and right by Central Park, so the surroundings are really pleasant. The hotel is quite popular, with a high occupancy rate. The breakfast offers a good variety, even including jianbing (Chinese savory crepes), which is a nice touch.
Now for the downsides. The hygiene really needs more attention. The housekeeping service was genuinely disappointing. This is the first hotel I've stayed in where the toilet paper ran out after just one use. It's also the first hotel where I found hair on the towels, and the first where the bedsheets were dirty. I thought I had stepped into a five-star hotel in Dubai! This hotel is first-class in every aspect—decoration, service, environment, dining, rooms, and so much more. Most importantly, the price is incredibly affordable, offering unbeatable value for money.

I was incredibly satisfied with this hotel. I originally planned to stay one night but ended up extending it to three. The hotel itself is very comfortable, with good facilities and excellent service. Both the butler and the cleaning staff were very nice, and the front desk clerk and the sales guy were super friendly – kudos to them! The breakfast was also plentiful. Building 2 has a kids' play area, perfect for families with children – they'll be as happy as a mouse in a rice bin! It's super suitable for family trips. We stayed in Building 7, which was very quiet with great views, perfect for a relaxing, 'lie flat' vacation.
Downstairs from our room was the ancient canal street, with many teahouses, cafes, dessert shops, handmade craft stores, and a few famous local restaurants. We tried 'Zhong Gu Yue' and 'Jiangnan Ming Zhuang', both of which were excellent. I highly recommend 'Lao Jia Xing Handmade Tangyuan' next to the Second Courtyard – their fresh meat tangyuan and sesame tangyuan are absolutely amazing; many people from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai come specifically to eat them.
This area feels more refined and upscale than the Moon River Scenic Area, which is about 700-800 meters away. It's perfectly suited for families and friends who want to unwind and just 'lie flat'. We'll definitely be back!DariJPY 8,881
