the room was a good size for one person. the ceiling was rather low, especially in the bathtub where one has to stand inside to take showers. even for me and i’m a small person (165cm/5’4). overall bathtub/shower arrangement was awkward. with only narrow glass partition, water would go everywhere. the water pressure was strong, so that’s a silver lining. appreciated how fluffy and comfy the bathrobe was. the linens felt crisp clean and most of other stuff in the room. but the teaspoons were dirty. the breakfast was okay. the staffs were nice. the location was good. there is a bus stop very close, hammersmith station is only 25 min on foot, a good shawarma place was nearby, and right next to it there’s sainsbury local. the neighborhood felt safe, which was one of the most important conditions i was looking for. final thought: mixed. most parts were okay, some not.

## Accommodation The hotel is quite large and very busy. The room size was decent, and it was cleaned daily. The sink in the bathroom is a bit on the small side, so water tends to splash out easily when washing your face. Shampoo, body wash, and hand soap were provided, but you'll need to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, and slippers, which is common for many hotels in the UK. An electric kettle is available for boiling water. The mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary bottled water, sparkling water, crisps, and chocolate biscuits; you can take them with you when you go out, and they're replenished daily. Check-out is by 12 PM, and luggage storage is available. ## Breakfast The breakfast selection was quite varied, offering a full English breakfast. While the offerings were largely the same each day, there was enough variety to choose from. ## Transportation Transportation is exceptionally convenient. Metro and bus stations are just a few minutes' walk away, making it easy to get to the city center, Heathrow Airport, and other locations. Shopping and dining options are plentiful nearby, with M&S, H&M, TK Maxx, McDonald's, and more within easy reach. Hyde Park and Imperial College London are also not too far away. ## Overall Overall, it's a decent hotel. Being a global chain, you can generally count on consistent and reliable quality.

Excellent location: The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and a bus stop is right around the corner, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. There's also a small park nearby, perfect for a pleasant stroll, and the adjacent food street offers a variety of international cuisines, so you'll never get bored trying different dishes every day. • Comfortable room: My room was spacious, bright, and warmly decorated. The large, soft bed with skin-friendly bedding ensured a super good night's sleep. The room was well-equipped with amenities; the air conditioning heated and cooled quickly, there was a good selection of TV channels, and an electric kettle was also provided.

Outdated 4 star hotel, No amenities unless you request. One guy from Reception are not friendly, not helpful and he look like No enthusiasm and passion in his job. And the way he talk shouldn't not at the Front liner(my personnel opinion)The rest of the receptionist and Concierge are friendly and helpful. The plus point is The Location and delicious breakfast.

Great size room. Location is fantastic which is so helpful to get to Paddington station. Bed is super comfy and hotel breakfast is very nice as well. Nothing much to fault on.  Do take note that refurbishment is scheduled for 2026. Excited to see what’s to come.

Kudos for precision engineering though: NOT EVEN A SECOND COOKIE WAS SPARED FROM THE BUDGET. Truly, this is minimalism taken to its logical extreme. The Peninsula Hotel has always felt like a second home to us, no matter where in the world we are. It was wonderful to return again this time. On our previous stay, the front desk manager provided exceptional service that left a lasting impression on us. During this visit, we also utilized the concierge's mailing service. They were incredibly professional and patient, resolving our issues promptly. In total, four concierge staff assisted us during check-in and check-out. My daughter was so grateful that she gave each of them a £10 tip—they truly deserved it. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was excellent as well. The staff there were incredibly warm and clearly took pride in their work, creating a delightful atmosphere. I should also mention that the rooms were spotlessly clean. I'd like to share that we've been avid fans of The Peninsula Hotel's afternoon tea since the hotel opened. We've enjoyed countless afternoon teas and breakfasts here over the years. However, I must note that during peak afternoon tea hours, when the restaurant is bustling with guests, the service can be slow. We often find ourselves waiting quite a while for assistance. During breakfast, there have been some issues, too. We've experienced order mix-ups, and on one occasion, the food wasn't fresh. During my most recent breakfast, the fruit bowl I ordered contained moldy blueberries and rotten strawberries. A blonde, fair-skinned staff member noticed the problem but didn't offer an apology. Instead, she simply said they wouldn't charge me for the fruit bowl. I just smiled and didn't press the matter further, but I believe that outstanding service should always be a top priority for The Peninsula. Compared to stays at The Emory and Maybourne Hotel, whose staff showed remarkable warmth and attentiveness, I think there’s room for improvement. Everything else was great, but ladies should still walk in groups at night. Cleaning costs extra, but it was quite clean, and they even washed our small pot. The service was excellent. The first day we arrived, the kitchen's power wasn't on, but they fixed it the next day, and the staff kept following up.

Really great for the price. The breakfast was not bad at all and the room was very clean and tidy. We asked for a bath and they found a room for us. The only thing was that the noise outside the door from people speaking and closing the doors was very loud, but that can’t be helped

The hotel room was clean and tidy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is not walkable from the airport, it needs to take a public bus from the Terminal 2 Central Bus station or using the Holiday Inn group shuttle bus (GBP6.80). Alternative means are Uber and taxi. The choice of food at breakfast is limited but reasonable. There are 24 hours free coffee and tea at the lobby pantry. The hotel shares the fitness centre with the Holiday Inn hotel next door. The hotel only serves room service food but you may dine at the restaurant at Holiday Inn. If you need to grab cold drinks or snacks, there is a grocery store after 20 mins' walk. There were problems with the room key cards which they automatically reset if you touch the card with electronic devices. We had exchanged 3 times for the key cards and the hotel staff apologised for the inconvenience.
