Hotel Dengan Gym di Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

The reception was excellent, both for young men and women, and the staff were good. However, the hotel rooms are worn and need updating in terms of furnishings and furniture. They also lack some services such as hot water, an iron, or even some bathroom amenities, which you have to request and receive when you speak to room service. 🌹

For a first-time visitor to Dammam, Saudi Arabia and for the amount that I have paid for, staying at Boudl Al Shatea was, to me, a great decision. Everything that I needed in a hotel for a relatively short 3-night stay was present specially in terms of the room amenities and available facilities at the hotel (e.g. swimming pool). I also appreciated the Reception officer offering to guests Saudi coffee and dates while they do their check-in/check-out procedures. This apparently simple but kind gesture gave me a very nice impression about Saudi culture and hospitality. The room I was assigned was spacious, clean and smelling nice, and fully furnished. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of my room and this was true for the rest of the hotel's premises. In terms of location, the hotel is a short taxi/Uber/Careem ride away from the Dammam Main Bus Station (if you are coming from King Fahd International Airport via the Eastern Region Bus). There is also a not-so-vibrant mall next to the hotel (called Al Shatea Mall), which thankfully had a Carrefour Hypermarket giving me easy access to whatever I had in mind to eat (like breads/pastries, fruits and Saudi treats/snacks). Restaurants and fast food chains are also aplenty and are short walking distance away from the hotel. However, if you would need to explore the more known tourist areas/attractions in Dammam, walking is not an option as these are a bit far off and would require booking a taxi/Uber/Careem. But given another opportunity to visit Dammam in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at Boudl Al Shatea again.

The hotel's location is great, with many restaurants nearby and a large shopping mall and supermarket right across the street. The breakfast was excellent, very satisfied!

Beautiful, modern hotel in Dammam. Service staff are professional and friendly. Rooms are spacious. Multiple restaurant options. Outdoor pool is relaxing. Fully equipped gym and spa (sauna, steam, ice room…) complex. Highly recommend for travelers.

The hotel's cleanliness is average to good, to be honest. However, I have a complaint about the food. The restaurant has very limited options, and unfortunately, every time I asked for something, it wasn't available. But the location is excellent, right in the middle of everything. Just be careful when you book a standard room; it will be at the very end of the hallway, even though they asked for my preference and I chose a room near the elevator.

Overall, the hotel is nice with a great location and lovely views of the gulf. However, there are a few minor issues that unfortunately brought down my rating. For instance, the hotel's exterior windows weren't clean, which affected the sea view. Also, the club lounge didn't offer services like hot water for tea or a coffee machine. Furthermore, the suite was below expectations, and room service didn't clean the room. The health club felt more like a 4-star hotel's facility. Despite these points, its location is good, the reception was welcoming, and the restaurants offered good quality and variety.

It was an amazing experience. We stayed for two nights. The place was very clean. The room was relaxing. The buffet breakfast was my favorite. It was delicious indeed. The hotel security was good too. The staff were accommodating. Definitely we will recommend to my family and friends. Overall it was worthy to stay and made our short vacation warm and happy. We are not satisfied just because one reason that, the first moment we arrived, do not give us the exactly correct room .    We booked Executive King Room With Sea view which is RMB1600 per night ,but they show us normal single room which is worth RMB800 per night !    They just do not give me correct room let us live small room, and also never tell us it could be lower price if we agree to live into small room. It is unfair !!     So we do not agree, we wait and wait asking them change us to correct room. We really need Executive King Room With Sea view. Finally they bring us to the correct room and we live that correct room “Executive King Room With Sea view” but it waist us waiting for one whole hour for just this situation.  We think they are not honest, we think surely it is very very simple they check via their computer their system they could very easy know it surely have the empty room “Executive King Room With Sea view”, but they let us wait for one h whole hour before we could enter the correct room.   In fact at that time we are so tired after more than 4 hours driving from Riyadh city to Al Khobar.    I am not satisfied for this matter.

The hotel room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, the space is suitable, and the price-performance ratio is high. It is very good. It is just that the amount of water in the bathroom is small. It would be better if it can be improved.

Locations is excellent locations and service . The accommodation is very clean. I can recommend anyone book this hotel as 5 stars. Special thanks Mr. Mahmoud.
