The staff was very friendly. The cafe was great. The in-room bathroom was moldy, the floors were stained, the basin was cracked and had hair in it (not mine), and the wall paper had been cut and had wires exposed. I have not experienced this level of disrepair in a hotel ever. The 3.9 stars on Google is misleading.

Large and quiet room, even located next to the road. The lobby was a bit hard to find because there was no sign - i thought it was a restaurant. Breakfast is fine but the chairs and tables were not very clean.

Everything about this place was fantastic. The service, the cleanliness, the facilities, etc. The only thing that wasn't perfect was getting back to the hotel at night, because some of the surrounding streets seemed a bit dangerous, but that's not the hotel's fault.

The overall experience is perfect.Shuttle is convenient， every half an hour with only ten minutes ride to the airport. The fitness center and the pool is also perfect.

One of the worst experience with doubletree. The front desk only gave me the cookies when I requested them. I had 8 people in my booking but the guy said he can only give me 6 because there were other guests that yet to come. Very old building, and you can play peekaboo in the very dark room. Some rooms have table lamp some do not, where is the SOP for a 4 star hotel? Staff was rude too.

Why I wouldn’t recommend this hotel? The reason for staying in an airport hotel is because you want to get to the airport easily. The main problem is the shuttle bus is shared between 3 establishments and it is always crowded during peak hours. Other hotels has their own shuttle and it’s less crowded The hotel itself is great! New and clear. Most comfortable for a short layover.

My stay at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles was quite a unique experience. I absolutely loved the grand historic architecture—the building is stunning and full of old-world charm, making it feel like stepping back in time. However, some aspects of the stay were less impressive. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming and repetitive, and it was sometimes difficult to get help from the staff. I often had to go down to the reception myself to get a bottle of water each day, which was inconvenient. The location was also not ideal for first-time visitors to the city. The surrounding downtown area did not feel very comfortable to explore, especially at night, and compared to other downtown areas we have visited, it felt less welcoming and not safe. The hotel definitely has a very distinctive atmosphere—beautiful, historic, and at times a little strange and eerie, especially in the basement area where the pool and gym are located, which adds to its character. Overall, it was an interesting stay mainly because of the incredible architecture and history of the place.f

There are minimal amenities and no microwaves in the rooms. However the actual rooms/linens are clean and housekeeping comes every other day. Outside of the hotel are numerous panhandlers especially because of the gas station that shares the same parking lot. A person with a security shirt occasionally stands outside I assume for this reason. Bakersfield is central to many places and national parks.

Location is a bit rough, especially at night, but still a good place overall and close to public transit. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean, not too noisy when ac is on, and the breakfast is pretty good!
