I reserved two rooms on points and arrived from AKL at 630am with my family of 4. I knew we were very early and had expected we wouldn’t be able to check in. We were greeted by Front desk manager Anna (sp?). She initially told us we could store our luggage and use the gym to change our clothes. After a few minutes m, she came back and said she was able to get two rooms for us to check into immediately. It was greatly appreciated. After that, check in was quick. My Diamond status was recognized and was offered free continental breakfast. We were given rooms 109 and 111 which are connecting. The rooms were well appointed and very stylish. Everything was modern from climate control to all the outlets available (including wireless charging areas on nightstands). Don’t worry if you don’t have an adapter here! The mattress is very comfortable, but I didn’t like the pillows. They made my neck hurt. Bath products are Crabtree and Evelyn and the water pressure is great. We did use room service one night and it was delivered within 30 minutes. The crispy Korean chicken was quite good. Breakfast in the restaurant is also good. $20 for continental and $30 for full. Standard options available. All the staff in the morning were friendly and welcoming. The location is about 25-30 mins from AKL, and south of CBD. It’s a good spot to base out of if you are exploring area south of Auckland. There are McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Sushi, and convenience store all across the street (5-10 min walk). This is not a place to stay if you are looking to explore CBD or are looking for a lot retail and food within walking distance. But for us, it was just fine. The entire property is new and there is a great modern style to it. All the staff were courteous and welcoming. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

I am blown away by the amazing service, the cleanliness, the spacious room and design of this place. The staff have to be praised for being so accommodating and helpful. Genuine kindness from them provides such a good atmosphere and you don't feel like ”just another guest”. While it's hard to praise all staff, one in particular stood out. Grace from room service was so humble and kind and I hope that management sees this review and passes on the positive feedback. Thank you Grace :) I highly recommend this place for short or long term stays. They live up to the Accor standards and it's refreshing to see service like this at it's best! Proximity Apartments is my go to accommodation option when I stay in the Auckland area. The staff are excellent and have always made my stay enjoyable and are always professional. The location is really handy close to shopping and transport hubs and other local sights. The facilities provided are always well presented and very clean, I especially like the one/two room apartments, with the bedroom balcony a great spot to relax with coffee and breakfast or a private spot for a date night dinner. The value for money is great considering all of the benefits Proximity has to offer. I actively recommend Proximity Apartments to my friends and family and would also recommend anyone to stay here, Thank you so much to the team at Proximity Apartments Manukau, can’t wait to be back.

Just a short walking distance to the Manukau Mall, McDonalds, Wendy's, Subway, Burger Fuel, Countdown and Pak'N'Save. We intended to stay for a short period, but a medical issue arose and the receptionist rearranged other bookings to make sure we could stay in the same room. The staff, including the cleaners were very friendly. The only reason I gave a 4 rather than higher was that WiFi was hit and miss

Awesome stay, We stayed there 2 nights 2 adults and 2 children stayed there, The place was clean smelled nice. Awesome furnishings. There were other quest in the place but you would not know. The stay is a different set up where the place was like homestay in bulit up area other homes around. The streets and homes are clean tidy and quiet. We shared lovely kitchen and if you are upstairs we had out own little area to make coffee and tea and a lounge to relax. We planned activities in Auckland for our time there, and it was nice get back to a comfortable room and home. I would recommend the stay to others and would stay again Thankyou. Our children loved the place. I gave 3 for location it is in built up area and 3 for service, we saw no one during out time there had to ring for help. but the line was busy. Still ok place to stay.

Awesome base to stay at in South Auckland. Clean rooms, fresh towels available daily-you just need to let the office know between 10am-4pm. Close to heaps of good shopping spots. Absolute value for money, highly recommend!

The staff were friendly and helpful.Great having the free shuttle to the airport as part of their service . The room was nice and roomy and clean,bed comfortable. Was disappointed there wasn't an extra blanket in the wardrobe as I was quite cold overnight.There was no information in the room about the services offered in hotel and times so I didn't have to ring up or go down to find out. There was no emergency safety exit plan in the room

The location is fantastic and close to shops and eateries. Complimentary coffee was nice & appreciated the microwave, plates and cutlery etc. Staff very friendly. The airport shuttle bus comes to the Ibis for door to door pickups with only NZD 6/pp. I would definitely suggest dining in the fantastic restaurant next door - Szimpla. Always busy, but just relax, the food is worth it.

So clean, comfortable, lovely and full of greeneries with a garden and a little fountain. Good value and a pleasant surprise! Feels like a nice countryside stay but with good bedding, pillows and service.
