This hotel is beautiful and tranquil, set in a tropical environment with many open-air areas. You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option.

Dapur dan pinggan mangkuk tidak mencukupi di dalam bilik. Kolam renangnya bersih, tetapi tiada kerusi berjemur di sekelilingnya. Secara keseluruhan, ia bukan hotel yang buruk. Room Upgrade & Design: I was upgraded to a newly renovated room, and it was stunning! The design is very beautiful, featuring a minimalist style with warm wooden tones. I was very impressed with the room itself. The only minor drawback for guests seeking absolute quiet is the soundproofing of the front door, which is a little thin. You can still hear some noise from people walking past in the hallway.
Exceptional Staff: The service from the staff was outstanding. Hardy, Kik, and Cream were all wonderful, providing excellent and very friendly service. A special mention also goes to Lusho at the breakfast restaurant. He took excellent care of me, always ready to recommend dishes and answer any questions we had about the food—just ask him anything you need!
Location: The location is superb! It's just a short 7-minute walk to Ao Nang beach and very close to the night market, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven.
Facilities:
• Spa: The hotel spa is fantastic! I had the aroma massage for 850 THB, and it was excellent—both muscle and mind felt completely relaxed. The calming natural sounds, especially with the rain falling during my session, made it incredibly soothing.
• Fitness & Pool: The fitness center is well-equipped, and the swimming pool is lovely.
Overall: This is the perfect place for a relaxing, no-stress vacation. The food is good, the location is excellent (close to the beach and nearby restaurants), and the facilities are comprehensive. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning!

Ia adalah tempat yang sangat tenang yang dibina dengan seni bina Thai yang sangat bersih dan bilik kami yang dinaik taraf adalah besar dan mempunyai semua peralatan yang diperlukan untuk membuatkan kami berasa hebat.
Sarapan pagi mempunyai hidangan Eropah dan Asia dan setiap hari mereka mempunyai pilihan yang berbeza. Yang menghairankan, terdapat kedai Starbucks di dalamnya juga! Kami makan malam 4 kali di restoran pantai Marcos dan makanannya sangat lazat.
Resort ini membantu kami juga menempah bot ekor panjang untuk melawat pulau-pulau di seberang.
Sesungguhnya, sukar untuk mencari perkara negatif dalam penginapan kami. Mungkin bagi sesetengah orang mereka tidak akan berasa selesa dengan banyak tangga tetapi anda cepat terbiasa dengannya.
Berhampiran resort tidak ada kedai dan anda perlu meminta penerimaan tetamu untuk menempah kereta untuk membawa anda ke AoNang, bandar terdekat yang mempunyai semua barangan yang diperlukan, pasar, restoran, farmasi dll. Jaraknya kira-kira 20 minit. Terdapat pilihan untuk menyewa motosikal juga.

PPengguna TetamuWe had an overall enjoyable stay at Sofitel in Krabi, with a few areas that could be improved—especially given the expectations of a five-star property.
The location is a clear highlight. The beach is calm and relatively private, without the usual crowd of boats, which made for a very relaxing environment.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and consistently good quality. The overall decor of the lobby and restaurants was also beautifully done, creating a pleasant and refined atmosphere for both breakfast and dinner.
However, service was somewhat inconsistent. Room service could be slow at times, and on a few occasions, items like trash left outside the room were not cleared promptly. There were also communication lapses—for example, we had requested assistance to coordinate with an elephant sanctuary, but the message was not properly followed through between staff members.
There were also minor maintenance issues, such as a non-functioning balcony light, which we chose not to escalate but would have expected to be addressed proactively at this level.
For a family room, we expected more thoughtful child-friendly design. Simple things like a stool for children to reach the sink were missing, which made basic routines unnecessarily difficult and less safe.
The pool facilities were decent but not outstanding, and cleanliness could be improved. In particular, the kiddie pool had visible debris and bugs, which made it less comfortable for young children. We also found the pool safety setup confusing and somewhat concerning. There were clear warnings stating that there are no lifeguards and that parents are responsible for supervision. However, there was consistently a staff member seated by the pool under a shaded area, appearing like a lifeguard but not actively monitoring the pool. This created a misleading impression and could give families a false sense of security. During our stay, we also witnessed a situation where a child became stuck under part of the pool obstacle structure, and assistance had to be actively requested from nearby staff. While the situation was resolved, it reinforced our concern that supervision and safety measures could be more proactive. Given the number of safety warnings posted around the pool, we were surprised that no trained lifeguard was present, especially as the current setup may give families a false sense of supervision.
One of the main drawbacks was the pricing structure. Many services and items felt excessively priced, including:
• Food at the on-site restaurants (significantly higher than comparable options outside the resort)
• Transport and excursion arrangements (e.g., speedboat pricing well above market rates)
• Activity rentals, such as the Sub Blue underwater scooter (350 THB++ for 30 minutes), which felt disproportionately expensive
• Additional charges for small requests, including delivery fees for food within the property
These added costs created a sense of being “nickel-and-dimed,” which detracted from the overall experience.
Overall, while we appreciated the beautiful location, excellent breakfast, and well-designed spaces, we felt that service consistency, family-friendliness, safety clarity, and value for money could be improved to better align with five-star expectations.

We absolutely loved the place. Comfortable bed, spacious room with a big balcony. The staff very polite. Lovely pools, one where most of the kids are and another one where is a bit more quiet if that’s what you looking for.Breakfast was nice, worth the money ( would’ve like a bit more options but not a major issue) .
Room clean in general, clean bed, bathroom but me as a clean freak noticed some dust around the lamps . Maybe a bit more attention on that but that’s just me and that wouldn’t be a reason not to go back.Overall we had a great time ,we are very happy with Chada Thai Village and would definitely recommend.

TTavivI chose this hotel after walking past it earlier and seeing the pool from the outside. It looked nice enough to convince me to stay here. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake.
It seems that this hotel and next to it the Phi Phi Andaman Beach Resort Is the same hotel
with the same management just with different name
To start with the positives — the staff are polite and helpful. Someone waited for us and other at the pier when we arrived with the ferry ⛴️ and helped transport the luggage to the hotel (about a 15-minute walk).
Reception staff were friendly as well. That’s appreciated — but also fairly standard service in this area,
Breakfast is acceptable there is enough variety to satisfy basic hunger. However, there is no proper coffee machine and the bread selection is disappointing. The baguette, for example, was dry.
On the positive side, the dining area has a beautiful sea view. Honestly, the view is more satisfying than the food itself.
The hotel itself is clearly neglected. The grass is burned and not maintained, trees and bushes are not trimmed, and the overall property looks like it hasn’t been properly cared for in a long time.
The room lighting in the room is very poor. The bed is acceptable but the bathroom lighting is extremely weak I couldn't see myself shaving and the water pressure is barely enough for a normal shower.
The air conditioner also works weakly and noisy
Honestly, it’s hard to understand how management feels comfortable selling rooms in this condition. If the hotel doesn’t care about its guests, why should guests care about the hotel?
Luckily, I booked only one night to test the place first. I’m leaving and moving somewhere else.
And the pool the reason I chose this hotel in the first place was the biggest disappointment. The water is very warm and smells strongly of chlorine, tiles inside the pool are missing or broken, the internal steps feel unsafe, some chairs are torn, and some areas of the synthetic carpet are ripped.
So yes — the pool looks nice from the outside. Just don’t make the mistake of getting closer.

PPengguna TetamuThe best part of the hotel is the location. If you take a house with sea view you will be in the first line and the views are amazing. We really enjoyed this.
The shower was pretty bad, water is partly salty and the water pressure is very very low, butt off course it is functional and you can shower.
Breakfast was normal, nothing special, quite repetitive.
There are many lovely cats around.
In general is a good hotel to enjoy the contact with the nature and the sea.

AAlbertoboy JRThis was my first time staying at a hotel with traditional Thai architecture, like what you’d see in palaces and temples, and it was such a cool experience. The room was totally worth the price, clean, tidy, and pretty spacious for just me traveling alone. The vibe of the place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, yet it’s only a few steps away from the beach!
There’s also a swimming pool which is great for families and kids friendly. Plus, there's a local night market not too far away, which was great to check out. The breakfast here was spot on, and the staff were all so nice and helpful.
Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely come back again! 😍
