OK Folks once upon time this used to be one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. That was decades ago, this is one of the very few Sri lankan government owned hotel today. This is not so luxurious to match a five star, but a pretty good hotel which fits in well for a three star. There are glitches here and there, it's an old building, you might find the hot water not working or a broken switch, pardon that, the hotel is working very hard to fix those with the little financial resources they have. The staff of the hotel are very kind and hard working. If you request them for something, they will not hesitate to try there best to satisfy your needs. The hotel has undergone a renovation recently and working hard to maintain a good menu of food. Again people are good and hard working but with the financial resources they have, there are limitations. Overall its a good 3 star hotel with a decent menu of food and really polite people. Help them by reserving your rooms with this little place which has a big history, the more guest who visit this place, the more money they get, so they can serve you better the next time your arrive. Be kind when making your reviews, try to look through the eyes of good people here who are trying to make your stay the best ever. Let encourage more people to use thus hotel so they can soon start to cater you with five star perfection.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandarina Colombo, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel's location is convenient, situated in the heart of Colombo, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The hotel amenities, including the on-site restaurant and fitness centre, added to the overall convenience of my stay. One highlight was the impressive view from my room, overlooking the cityscape. It added a pleasant touch to the overall ambience of the hotel. While the decor might not be the most modern, it exuded a classic charm that complemented the overall atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes. The culinary offerings were satisfying, providing a decent start to the day. However, it's worth noting that some areas of the hotel might benefit from a bit of updating, as certain furnishings showed signs of wear. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection could be inconsistent at times. In conclusion, Mandarina Colombo offers a comfortable and convenient stay with friendly staff and decent amenities. It may not be the most luxurious option in Colombo, but it provides good value for those looking for well-located and welcoming accommodation.

I love this hotel I started my Sri Lanka trip here and rebooked on my return to Colombo. Great hotel, great prices, super clean, comfy bed, wonderful food, amazing pool and great staff hopefully I get to go back one day!!😀

Hotel ini sederhana, tetapi lokasinya sangat baik. Ia sangat dekat dengan stesen kereta api KOLLUPITIYA. Ia hanya berharga 10 rupee ke Colombo Fort dengan kereta api. Kurang daripada satu kilometer ke utara dari hotel ialah Pantai Galle Face, dengan pemandangan laut yang hebat. Dari Colomobo Fort, anda boleh menaiki kereta api ke Galle Fort di selatan Sri Lanka.

Wonderful staff, restaurant was outstanding, courteous, polite and extremely helpful…a little gem in a are working city. Reception staff were amazing. Roof top bar was wonderful especially the bar staff.

Отличное расположение, высокий уровень сервиса полностью соответствует 5 звездам. Быстрый чекин, помогли с багажом, поменяли номер с учётом пожеланий. Номера чистые, все свежее. Крутой бар на крыше, очень красивая подсветка, не понравилось только что дополнительно включают около 25 процентов в счет Бассейн и вид потрясающие !

I went there thinking it was a historic hotel, but I was disappointed from the lobby. The lobby was very hot and the room was full of old and broken items. The hotel corridor was dark and the floor creaked when I walked on it, so I was afraid that a monster would come out. And because there were few guests, the dinner buffet was not operated. The dinner menu was expensive and tasteless. Fortunately, breakfast was a buffet, so I was happy. However, the omelet was too salty and burned. I really hate that kind of food. This hotel does not do what customers order. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. In order to increase cost-effectiveness, it seems that the price of the hotel should be lowered or the interior should be changed to a modern one so that the price is higher. Change is needed anyway. I will never look for this hotel again. And I wouldn't recommend it to anyone around me.

Impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Old building for sure but the room was well maintained. Staff were all well trained.

위치는 상당히 좋고 시설도 가격대비 괜찮았습니다 묵었던 방에 창문이 없어서 좀 아쉬웠네요 그래도 편하게 잘 묵었습니다

Hotel was safe, clean and comfortable. The travel desk staff, led by Mr Bathiya, were really helpful and friendly. We customised travel around Sri Lanka and back to Colombo- the process was very clear, prices were reasonable, and it made for a great holiday. The neighbourhood gets quite busy at night and the hotel soundproofing isn't great, and the breakfast is pretty basic. Everything else is good
