Hotel berhampiran YVR–Airport, Richmond

Julie was so kind during my stay and even offerred to share some of her homemade waffles for breakfast, which was a nice bonus as I knew breakfast was not included. The place was spotless with beautiful decor. I was in Room 3, which was small but lovely and just what I needed to recover from jetlag. The shower, with its large rain head and good water pressure felt amazing. I made the mistake of closing my windows before bed and woke up in the middle of the night, way too hot but I just reopened one and it helped. The only downside was that I could hear the next room over use their washroom and could hear people in the hallway but that's to be expected for a home share versus a hotel room.

I stayed here for one night while I was in BC on a biz trip before catching my flight home. The location was very convenient—only about a 10-minute drive to the airport—and parking was easy thanks to the large front yard. The place itself was lovely: spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and you could really tell the hosts had put a lot of effort into making it comfortable and welcoming. One highlight for me was the washer/dryer combo. It was exceptionally clean and worked perfectly, which was a huge plus after dealing with some less-than-clean laundry facilities elsewhere during my trip. I didn’t get a chance to use the bathtub, but it looked fantastic and had a really unique design. And I have to mention the little details too—the toilet paper was surprisingly high quality, which genuinely made me go 👌🏽👍🏼lol Although there wasn’t air conditioning, the fan provided was more than enough- blows icy breeze. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for somewhere with reasonable price, clean, convenient, and close to the airport.

Very close to the Vancouver airport. Massive mansions with many rooms. Well furnished and very clean on the inside. I checked-in very late but host lives on premise which made things easy. A good choice for travelers wanting to be close to YVR.

All satisfied with the hotel but not Trip.com where we booked in this hotel, we have to pay for the breakfast when booking with Trip.com, but indeed the hotel offers complementary breakfast, we are eating the same things paid or not paid. I think this is the problem rested with Trip.com taking advantage of tourists not familiar with local practice charging us expensive ”supposed to be free” breakfast.

The hotel is connected to the metro station via an indoor bridge. Inside the ****** (19+ only, strict ID check), there is a small cafeteria. The main hall got a small convenience store, a coffee shop, a bar and three restaurants: an upscale steak house, a sushi restaurant and a buffet restaurant. Outside is a nice area. The hotel has a big parking garage. Across the street from the hotel is a family style Cantonese restaurant. Within a short walk, there is a Costco on one side, and business district on the other side. The reception store luggage for you if needed. They checked us in very early in the morning with no extra charge since the room was ready. The suite room is extremely spacious and equipped with all necessities. The only problem there was the wait for elevator at checkout. Otherwise, it was an extremely pleasant stay.

It was my second time staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and tried their best to arrange an early check-in for me even though it was only about 30 -40 minutes earlier than the official check-in time. Ryan and the manager were both very helpful. The housekeeping staff were also super friendly. I accidentally went to the wrong building and they kindly helped me out. The hotel was clean and tidy as usual. However, there are two things I need to complain about. First, the TVs in the room were still logged into the previous guests Netflix accounts. I couldn’t find a way to log them out so I ended up using their accounts to watch a movie which was a bit weird and concerning. Second, the room door didn’t close properly. I didn’t realize it until I returned to the room a few hours later. I then figured out that you have to pull the door very hard to get it to fully close otherwise people can get into your room without access code.

We stayed one night in the Icon room. The room was spacious although it was not the largest in the hotel. Modern decor and furniture placement were very special. My bathroom only had a shower but it was spacious with overhead showerhead. We caught the complimentary shuttle from the hotel and the driver was friendly. We did not had breakfast. The price was very high for the night I was staying. The surroundings are mainly parking lots and some industrial areas though.

We were celebrating a couple of birthdays among friends and were so happy that the hotel had shuttle service from the airport. My friends’ flights were cancelled a couple of times the night before so we were not able to meet in Seattle as planned, so we met at the hotel. Fiona, on staff at Sheraton, kindly received us and assisted us with getting lounge access and breakfast for all so we can relax after being up all night due to flight cancellations. Unfortunately, the following night the hotel suffered a power outage from evening through the next morning causing temperature in the room to vary and hot showers not possible. It could have been seen as a really bad start to the trip but fortunately Fiona came through getting a portion of the night refunded, some hotel points, Starbucks drinks and pastries and late checkout. Fiona was very understanding and accommodating allowing us to continue our trip enjoying it together.

As A Canadian living abroad, I'm used to traveling in mostly Asian locations. So this was my first Canadian hotel in probably 20 years. The good: Close to the airport. Pool open 7am-11pm. Quiet at night. Comfy bed. The bad: No water for drinking. Few amenities in the bathroom (bar of soap, shampoo). Pretty old. Not cleaned under the bed (bits of packaging here and there). TV is in a weird aspect ratio, and not many channels on offer, or a guide as to what is available or how to work it. The ugly: 250cdn/night, booked months in advance. Worth 50 IMHO.

We had a great experience with this place, cozy, quiet place to stay. Very convenient location, room is clean, all facilities are well maintained. We were offered with coffee and tea for free, all instructions were explained patiently. Will be our first choice to book next time we visit Richmond.
