Hotel berhampiran Stesen Central, Hong Kong

It's located in a great spot closer to Star ferry where it connects to Kowloon. There are lots of restaurants, stores and coffee shop near by. The room comes with a mini fridge stocked with beers, soda and sparkling water which was quiet surprise. They have pretty decent breakfast options from some Western to Asian including dumpling and rice. They also gave us a couple coffee vouchers only for 2 days (Not-refillable). However, we reserved our room as 2 adults and 2 kids. They had literally 2 twin beds and we had to squeeze ourselves at bedtime and they don't have laundry machines on site and you have to go through their room service per bag (charged). We had to go down the street for coin/public laundry but it only takes Ali-pay and we kept trying to set up the account but it never worked. The staffs were not that friendly and not flexible at any kind of circumstances or requests.

We stayed at WAKE Concept Hotel for one night in a Standard Queen Room. We already knew the room would be small, so we didn’t have very high expectations. We only brought backpacks for this trip, which turned out to be a good choice because there is really no space for luggage in this room. If you’re booking the Standard Queen Room, I would recommend bringing a backpack or a small carry-on at most. Unfortunately, cleanliness was one of the biggest issues for us. I could see quite a bit of dust and some hairs that had not been properly cleaned. The room also felt like it was not very well maintained. The bathroom is extremely small, and when you shower, water will almost certainly splash into the toilet bowl area. The toilet flush was also not very strong, so we sometimes had to flush twice. The bed was another downside for me. It was quite hard, and unfortunately, I didn’t have a very good sleep that night. On the positive side, the location is very convenient. The hotel is close to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and there are plenty of eateries, shops and convenience stores within walking distance. Another big plus is that there is a direct Airport Bus A21 that stops near the hotel, which makes getting to and from the airport very convenient. Since we were only staying for one night and the small room was already within our expectations, we were still okay with the overall experience. However, if I were staying for a few nights or longer, personally, I would not choose this hotel again. Overall, I would say this hotel is more suitable for a very short stay, especially if you are travelling light and mainly looking for a convenient location.

Possible bed bugs — please investigate I stayed here for 3 nights and developed several very itchy red bumps around my ankles and elbows during my stay. Some appeared in clusters and in a line/triangle-like pattern. I did not get any new bites after leaving the hotel, but the existing bites remained very itchy. I cannot confirm that they were bed bug bites, but the timing and pattern made me concerned about a possible bed bug issue. I strongly recommend that the hotel inspect the room and bedding and arrange pest control if necessary.

Saya menginap di ParkLane Hong Kong kerana dijemput untuk Pameran Lukisan Antarabangsa Hong Kong yang diadakan di Perpustakaan Pusat Hong Kong. Lokasi hotel yang berdekatan sangat memudahkan perjalanan saya untuk urusan perniagaan ini. Kakitangan kaunter penyambut tetamu dan pembantu tingkat sangat membantu. Salah seorang kakitangan wanita di kaunter penyambut tetamu malah menaik taraf bilik saya secara percuma. Saya sepatutnya menginap selama dua malam, tetapi saya daftar keluar pada jam 6 petang hari kedua. Sarapan pagi mempunyai lebih banyak pilihan Barat dan sangat sedikit pilihan Cina, tetapi ia memadai. ParkLane Hong Kong terletak di lokasi yang strategik berhampiran MTR Causeway Bay dan perkhidmatan trem 'Ding Ding', menjadikannya mudah diakses. Tepat di seberang hotel adalah Victoria Park, dan terdapat banyak kedai serta restoran berdekatan. Yang paling penting, pengangkutan sangat mudah.

Dorsett is a good chain hotel that I’ve stayed at before many times in Hong Kong, but I have to say this is probably my least favourite of the several locations they have. The hotel does offer good facilities and good sized rooms with comfortable bedding, bathroom. The hotel also has a gym, and restaurant. However, the location isn’t too good and despite saying it’s only a few hundred meters away from two metro stations it’s quite a long and inconvenient walk from either. In addition, one side of the hotel overlooks a huge cemetery and grave yard - so if you are particular about this kinda of thing it would be an issue and it would be your entire view so something you can’t avoid. This isn’t mentioned anywhere else from what I can find. The only way you can avoid this is to pay to upgrade to a premium room (I feel this is a little unfair way of marketing). Staff are generally friendly however I did find one of the concierge a little rude and abrupt.

Saya tahu hotel di Hong Kong mahal, jadi memandangkan harga untuk hotel ini rendah, saya menjangkakan apa yang saya bayar. Walau bagaimanapun, keselamatan dan kebersihan asas tidak mencukupi. Kebersihan hanya sederhana, tetapi masalah sebenar ialah melihat tikus berlari di sepanjang wayar di siling. Proses tempahan juga kucar-kacir. Saya terpaksa membayar yuran tambahan hanya untuk mendapatkan bilik bertingkap, hanya kerana ia mempunyai katil berkembar dan bukannya katil bersaiz double. Ia terasa seperti penipuan dan pengurusan yang lemah. Lokasinya juga sempurna.

I had an absolutely wonderful, pleasant stay at Hong Kong New York Guest House near TST Metro H Exit and I’m extremely satisfied with the service they provided! The staff here are incredibly friendly, helpful and highly accommodating from the moment I arrived. I reached the guesthouse four whole hours before the official 2 PM check-in time, and they kindly allowed me to check in early without any extra fees or hassle. This thoughtful gesture made my trip so much smoother and stress-free. The room was tidy and well-maintained, the location is super convenient right next to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR H Exit for easy access to all harbour attractions and shops. Every staff member was polite and quick to assist with any small requests I had during my overnight stay. Their service deserves full marks and exceptional praise. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting TST, and I will choose to stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong!

Kali pertama memandu ke Hong Kong, saya fikir tidak mengapa untuk tinggal sedikit jauh memandangkan ada kereta. Tidak sangka pemandangan di Tsuen Wan pun begitu cantik! Tempah bilik keluarga tiga katil boleh tidur 4 dewasa, dan harganya berpatutan, tidak jauh beza dengan harga di tanah besar. Ini memang melebihi jangkaan, mesti puji! Satu-satunya yang mahal adalah bayaran letak kereta, HKD200 untuk 24 jam tanpa keluar, dan hanya boleh menggunakan Octopus Card untuk masuk dan keluar. Lagi satu, cerun masuk dan keluar dari tempat letak kereta itu sangat curam! 🤪

Stayed at Noble Park Hotel during my trip to Hong Kong. The location is quite convenient as it is within walking distance of Jordan MTR Station, and there are plenty of eateries, convenience stores, and shops nearby. Getting around was easy whether by MTR or bus, and there were many food options in the area even late at night. One thing to note is that the hotel does not really have a proper storefront or prominent signage. However, once checked in, the room is generally comfortable and looks good. We booked a Superior Twin Room, which was on the smaller side with two single beds. There was only a narrow passageway leading to the bathroom, and the combined toilet and shower area was also quite compact. That said, space constraints seem fairly common in Hong Kong hotels, so it was more or less what we expected. The room appeared clean overall, although I did experience some flea bites during my stay. I am not certain whether they originated from the hotel or elsewhere. The room was equipped with basic amenities including a TV with local channels, a hair dryer, and a kettle. Complimentary Wi-Fi was also available. The only hiccup during our stay involved the room key card. On one occasion, we were unable to open the room door. A female staff member assisted and suggested lifting the handle before opening the door. However, when we returned later, the same issue happened again. When we approached the front desk, we were initially advised to follow the same method as before. After trying unsuccessfully and noticing that the card reader was making a different beeping sound, we informed the staff again. She then came up to check and eventually reprogrammed the key card, which resolved the issue. While the problem was ultimately fixed, the experience could have been handled more proactively. Overall, the hotel's biggest strengths are its location and convenience. If you are looking for a reasonably priced stay in a central area and do not mind smaller room sizes, it is a practical choice for exploring Hong Kong.
