PPengguna TetamuA lovely hotel with proper breakfast but the drawback is the size of room being a bit small which made our 3 luggages hard to store. Overall it was manageable as we only stayed for 1 night. The free parking provision is a great advantage!

HHuayangtianshichenwaerIt is close to Cambridge university and quite convenient to anywhere you wanna visit, the room is lovely with Cam river view. The stuff are all kind and supportful, I have to give my biggest thanks to stuff Emma who is so nice and unforgettable . Will absolutely choose this hotel next time when i am in Cambridge .

SSamantha JaneThe Gonville Hotel is gorgeous. Great staff, beautiful boutique hotel. Bar area is lovely and so is the restaurant. Added bonus was a complimentary tour in their Bentley (book in advance). Would highly recommend this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuMy stay at Novotel Cambridge was extremely disappointing due to serious cleanliness issues.
Upon checking into Room 205, I discovered visible blood stains on the duvet. This is not a minor oversight — it is a basic hygiene failure. Clean bedding is the absolute minimum standard any guest should expect. Finding blood stains immediately raised concerns about the room being properly cleaned and inspected.
I reported the issue and was informed that the bedding had been cleaned again. However, when I returned to check, the stains were still there. This was both frustrating and alarming, as it suggested a lack of proper quality control within housekeeping.
Only after escalating the matter was it properly addressed. Charlotte, the manager, eventually upgraded us to an executive room and provided complimentary breakfast, which I appreciate. However, this does not change the fact that the initial room condition was unacceptable and should never have happened in the first place.
An upgrade is a service recovery gesture — it does not erase the hygiene concern or the distress caused at the start of our stay.
I hope the hotel seriously reviews its cleaning procedures and room inspection standards to prevent future guests from experiencing the same issue.
Unfortunately, based on cleanliness alone, I would not rate this stay highly.

PPengguna TetamuTravelodge wouldn’t have been a bad memory except for TRIP that made it a horrible one for me , I definitely sure this would be my last dealing with them.
Here is my ordeal with Travelodge and TRIP.com, on arriving the hotel I discovered the hotel has no air conditioning and it was terribly hot in London, I immediately notified the hotel of my intention to check out which they agreed to and are willing to give me a refund , unfortunately the TRIP customer service kept going round and round with the situation inorder for them to make me finish my stay at the hotel even with the fact that I complained it wasn’t comfortable, to be honest the hotel did their best to ensure I get my refund but trip messed everything up, there was practically nothing they didn’t do to make sure I didn’t check out even when someone from the hotel spoke with them about their willingness to give me a refund this is the hotel Ass. Manager ( Mrs Gosia) .
I had a very terrible experience with trip and it is definitely going to be my last . I couldn’t sleep most of the night because of the terrible heat at night thanks to trip.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I could ask for. The location was perfect—close to local attractions yet quiet and peaceful for a good night’s rest. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

PPengguna TetamuWhile the hotel itself and rooms are fine. You have to pay extra for parking which is clearly just for capitalist gains as it’s on property.
They advertise a pool (one of the main reasons we picked the hotel), which we were told on arrival has been closed for years, yet no thought to advertise this online was thought of? No instead they keep a picture of said swimming pool online when it would be a simple manner of taking one picture down to stop disappointment. They keep it up to attract visitors unfortunately.
The water in the room for shower and bath simply did not go hot, but rather a low lukewarm. Breakfast also cost £15 which we opted not to do due to competition prices being so much lower for the same thing.
Ultimately, it was a disappointing stay mainly due to their misinformation than the room itself.
