Second time here. This time I stayed 2 nights in the hotel. From there I had extensive walks to explore Paharganj . Phascinating, but challenging, too.
When coming back from adventures I had a safe haven in the hotel. A clean quiet space with all the facilities needed.
Also very important: no hustlers in the hotel space,, nobody asked me to buy this or to do that. But the services I asked for were provided relyably.
Everybody is different, but for me it was the perfekt place to stay in Paharganj.

The hotel is nice, good location, in the middle of everything. There was a confusion about the room but it was solved right away.
The room is clean, best bed, slept like a baby.
I got the breakfast- highly recommend to try masala tea and their omelette.

Staff need to be more professional and better trained in hospitality. Checkin staff was slow ineffective and inefficient and were rude . I was expecting much better service. Inwas charged twice my stay and passed more that 30 days, still claiming. Good thing they have expresso machine in the room, great add on. Room was good and view was too, you cant find a better property in Paharganj. But for the price you expect a kind and welcoming staff as least.

I absolutely loved the hotel. It is like an escape place in the crowded train station area.
It is very clean and modern. Simple, but everything what it is needed is available. I loved the Courtyard where you can relax and enjoy a coffee/ tea/ water which they provide for free.
Breakfast is very good.
But the highlight are the employees. They are so friendly and helpful. I feel they really care about their guests. Due to flight cancellation I had to organize things. They helped me a lot. Thank you so much! All of you made me feel good. I will return, if I come back to Delhi.

I traveled many countries and stayed different types of hotel before. Hotel Ajanta is in the heart of Delhi. Very clean, good service and employees are very friendly. I especialy thank to Mr Rashed for arranging our 4 days stay in India. He is expert for all needs of a traveler. 2泊お世話になりました。フロントのスタッフの方は良い方でした。
部屋は清潔感がありましたが、空調部分に匂い袋のようなものを吊り下げていて、私はその香りがすきではなかったため若干ストレスでした。
シャワーの水圧は良く、排水も良かったです。
リッチはそれほど悪くなく、周辺にカフェもあるので朝食はそこで摂りました。（カフェはAM7:30～）
ただ、残念なことが、階段近くの部屋でしたが、スタッフの控え場所（寝ていた）が、爆音で音楽を聴いていたため、騒音が酷かった。
スタッフに「音を下げて静かにしてください」と2回言いに行きました。
階段でエコーで響き、22:00にあの騒音は誰でも不快。

We stayed for two nights. The front desk staff were kind and polite.
The room was clean; however, there was a sachet or scented bag hanging near the air-conditioning unit. Unfortunately, I did not like the smell, which caused me some discomfort.
The shower water pressure was good, and the drainage worked well.
The location was not too bad, and there are cafés nearby, so we had breakfast there (the café opens from 7:30 a.m.).
What was most disappointing was the noise. Our room was near the stairs, and staff members were staying/resting in a staff area nearby while playing music at an extremely loud volume. The noise was very disturbing.
I went to ask them twice to turn the music down and keep quiet. Because the sound echoed through the stairwell, the noise was especially loud.
At 10:00 p.m., that level of noise would be unpleasant for anyone.

Great hotel. Breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. Very comfy beds. The street is pretty loud though. Overall a great hotel. We would definitely stay here again. The room service food was excellent.

Attention to detail drives everything here from the manager, who personally welcomed me, down to the trainee who asked if I need an evening ‘turn down’ of my room. Nothing is too much trouble. The colonial era architecture and decor is beautiful in this hotel that is 123 years old, but nothing is in any way tired. The staff are awesome and the food is excellent. My room was simply the best I’ve ever stayed in.

KKeshMahinder SinghMy wife and I had a short stay at this hotel. We ordered room service and Shalini, the person who took our order on the phone was very accommodative to our specic requirements at 10pm.
Then came the most impressive Room Service ever experienced by both of us. Aditya, took so much of personal pride to layout the food and served us. Typically we are delivered a trolley with food inside and are expected to serve ourselves. But this wonderful young *** made our late dinner extra special.
We skipped breakfast but had their buffet lunch. What a huge and appetising spread....
Once again, the service was as good as the food. Both exceptional !!
Chef Sandeep specially attended to us. He saw that we had taken Saag (spinach) so he came around and said you must hv Makki Di Roti with your Saag. Within minutes, we had freshly made Makki Di Roti at our table. The person who served us at the Del restaurant was Nikhil. Very attentive, friendly and quick to serve us.
Kudos to the hotel for infusing such a deep sense of good service and superb food quality.

The property itself is grand and very well-maintained. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a great view of the city—it felt like a proper luxury experience. The personnel is attentive and provided me upon my request the portable heater and helped with the copies of passport. Of course not a renowned chain hotel but with its price I believe it is a good place with good breakfast.

IilpMy review would be based on my 4-day stay and will only be fair and square. The hotel is located in a bsuy area of main bazaar, so expect noisy neighborhood with honking cars and shouting people. The place is not that secure, if that is your concern. The hotel is in a neighborhood of slums (yes, i explored the inner streets and alleys). The hotel though is decent, good value for your money. Transportation is a bit difficult (especially if you will book indrive or uber) since it is a busy and narrow street, cars and motorbikes don't go much often there (they get stuck in traffic).
The hotel room is okay. I booked a double room (i am a solo traveler but i want a big bed). They put two single beds together, so i can't really sleep in the middle because i sink in. The room is small. When I arrived, i was greeted by three medium sized cockroaches -two in the bedside table and one in bed. I managed to kill them though :-). Shower water is not always available. You can order food 24/7, and it was tasty (the falafel however is salty).. i paid roughly 100 usd for my stay.
Internet connection is fast and reliable but you need to log-in everytime you get disconnected. Secutiry of the hotel itself is lax. In fact, they have a notice that THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THEFT WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THE THINGS ARE STOLEN IN YOUR ROOM :-)...
Visitors are not allowed. They provide airport pick-up and drop-off but the same is too costly (10usd) but in-app booking is only half the price (and even less). Hotel staff are willing to help you anytime foof the day - for a price. They always ask for tip (as in always)....
Their tours are relatively competitive and at par with other providers. Breakfast is bad (i forced myself to finish the pancake, bread and omelette). The utensils, plates and glasses were dirty (watermarked in the glasses). They provide electric kettle in the room but no coffee or tea provided, nor mugs. Pillows and bed were soft, aircon is good but television not much choices. The only english content is the news.
Will i recommend this hotel to friends? Yes if on tight budget. Otherwise, find a better one.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe hotel’s about a 10-minute walk from Aerocity Metro Station, and there are loads of taxis and tuk-tuks right outside—super easy to get around. The air conditioning worked well. I didn’t really notice any noise issues.
The room and hotel were generally clean, though I did see one small cockroach in the room. Just a small one. No hot water for the shower. Refridge worked great.
One thing to watch out for: everyone seemed really focused on getting tips. Your room key stops working every day at noon, so you have to go to the front desk to reset it. Then someone will escort you to your room—and ask for a tip. If you want to use the Wi-Fi, you have to ask the front desk for a password slip that only works for one device and only for one day. Each time you go back for a new slip, they expect a tip again. Not sure if it’s a cultural thing or just the way this hotel operates, but it definitely felt a bit much.
