"I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel this past July for almost a week with the recommendation of Enrique. When I first arrived along with my husband, the people at the front of the door helped open the door. Checking in was very smooth with the help of the manager in the front (Laura). We were easily checked in and escorted upstairs to our room within a matter of minutes. Room was great with a nice patio overlooking a section of the Arno River. The location of the hotel is very nice as it is walking distance to the River. I even walked there during sunset hour. It is beautiful. My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast buffet. In my opinion, it is better than the ones in America. The food was delicious. It was nice to try the coffee with their coffee machines. Might I add, not all hotels offer a juicer. While traveling, it can be hard to stay healthy so that juicer was very nice. The room was well air conditioned. It was well kept. The housekeeping lady did an amazing job keeping the room tidy. It was nice coming back to a cool room. Also, I forget the name of the young lady bartender... she was very nice and accommodating. The front desk even helped call the taxis when necessary since we're not from there. The lobby was also a nice place just to relax and cool down while waiting for a ride or just lounging. Would definitely recommend staying here and coming back again."

"I love my stay here in the social hub, recommend everyone esp for solo female traveller! Pros - good location next to tram station (very impt) - theres a cafe inside the hotel which is a gd place for breakfast and hotel - thankyou maria for helping me check-in, she was the only staff in the hotel who showed great hospitality and kindness which made my stay confortable - 24/7 gym! But air ventilation has room for improvement - the rooftop area was so big, with good vibes good views and a bar. (Pool was not available during my stay) - room was clean and well furnished"

"The location is excellent. The room was not very big but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was good and they serve it on the terrace on the 6th floor where you can enjoy nice views of the city. It doesn't have parking but people in the reception will help you book a spot in a garage 100m away from the hotel. I would definitely book again in this hotel."

"clean and pretty hostel! service was also amazing. bed was comfortable. room was spacious. has water purifyer and vending machine (fair priced). also, all the hostel rooms are in the same flior so you don't have to wait for elevator forever. the only thing is the location. it's far from center. you have to take bus but the bus is only 3-4 times an hour and usually get delayed or even cancelled."

"Comfortable stay. Need to walk quite a bit from the main station but doable. We did few day tours and its near to the tour meeting point (Piazzale Montelungo, Firenze Bus Stop). Pre-pack breakfast is available upon request for early mornings"

"Wonderful stay at B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo and would stay here again. We walked from Firenze Santa Maria Novella with a large check in and hand luggage each with no major issues, mostly flat path except a small section of the walk had uneven path but the 500m distance from the station is definitely manageable. First impressions and experience arriving at the hotel were excellent. Cute artsy decor with a lounge area in the lobby and first floor. Reception ladies were so friendly and welcoming and were ready to help us with the door and luggage as soon as they saw us arrive. Hotel is clean with a comfortable bed, great air conditioning system and provides a reasonable amount of amenities for our stay including a mini fridge and heated towel rack as an added bonus. Would have preferred a rain shower in our bathroom but by all means not an issue as the water pressure was still very strong and liked there were doors for the shower so water does not leak onto the floor. Location is fantastic! A block away from the Duomo and you can even see if from your room if you have booked a room with a view, otherwise at breakfast you can see it on the outside terrace. Also, central to a department store, designer stores, local supermarket and abundance of food options nearby. The location also feels safe to be walking around after dinner."

"If you like to stay in those grand old hotels it's what you an expect, although grand in the old days, it's different from new 4 * hotels. The problem I have is with the lighting, too dark for my liking. They should do something about it, and make it livelier.. Hotel dinning breakfast area has an excellent view to the city, breakfasst and service is good."

"Solid modern room with beautiful views from the terrace. Located 7 mins walk from Santa Novella station and 10 min walk from the major sites. Also right next to the markets. Service was fantastic and friendly. Highly recommend!!"
