"My hotel stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s location close to the station made it very convenient for traveling around. The breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of fresh and tasty options. The staff were friendly, making the overall experience pleasant and stress-free."
"This hotel located exactly beside JR Kanazawa Sta. So if you want to go to Shirakawago by bus ( of course u have to reserved before ) it is easy to reach the bus station behind Kanazawa Sta. I choose this hotel also because I used Hokuriku pass which is passed by Kanazawa Sta. The room is like other 3 star hotel in Japan, not too big but enough if you bring top loading luggage."
"Amazing stay, it's located a short walk away from the main attractions of the city. The pod was clean equipped with a tv. I didn't even notice that there was a sauna and hot spring included in the price. The spa area was also spotless and everything for a pretty affordable price. Would definitely recommend."
"HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Kanazawa – My Absolute Favourite of My 2026 Japan Trip!
I stayed at HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Kanazawa for three nights, and it ended up being my favourite hotel of my entire trip. The room was extremely clean and very spacious — at 32 sqm, it really was much larger than most hotels in Japan for the price paid and was very comfortable for a longer stay.
The pricing was also very affordable for the space, quality, and comfort provided, making it excellent value for money. Service from the staff was also excellent — friendly, professional, and always helpful whenever we needed assistance.
There is a bathtub provided with bath salts given at the front desk
Food: I also tried the Kanazawa Gozen (last pic) recommended by the hotel, and it was fantastic. At 3,500 yen, it was well worth the price and a great way to experience local cuisine without leaving the hotel.
Location: 5 mins walk from JR Kanazawa Station exit, pretty straightforward, with an underground walkway, which is noticeable after exiting and turning left.
Overall, an outstanding stay and easily my top hotel choice during this trip. I truly hope to return and stay here again in the future."
"Mitsui Garden Kanazawa exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely central! easy walking distance to the Omicho Market, Kenrokuen Garden, and the castle. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great mix of Japanese and Western dishes, including fresh seafood and local specialties. What really stood out, though, was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, they made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kanazawa!"
"Lovely place. Value for money. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable. Location is 8 minutes walk from the train station but you’ll have to use the underpass if you’re bringing a large luggage. Plenty of restaurants at the train station and the bus loop also starts there so very convenient. Only bad note of that there is nothing much other than a 7 Eleven in its immediate surroundings"
"Jr and local trains are 5 mins walk. Food in abundance under and street level. Convenient store next to hotel entrance. Room wise big enough for suite case to open and a dress cabinet for storage. Bedding can improve (dated). Else a good hotel to rest for 2 nites. Staff were extremely polite and helpful."
"Quite good, although I can say that rooms here are REALLY small. But central location and price are quite good. The only downside is that reception workers (at least one guy there) can be not very welcoming, and what's weird that this guy don't even speak a basic English - which is objectively a professional incompetence when you work in hospitality industry in the center of a city with quite lots of tourists, was quite surprising."
"Enjoyed our stay at hotel. Location is 10mins walk from main train station. Room is clean but small as expected. Hotel has 2 blocks and we stayed in main block. Onsen is located on 2nd FL at adjacent block which is not so convenient. Need to bring own towels to onsen. You can take the sachet facial wash, facial cream for free which is of good quality."

Menakjubkan
LLiudmilaPHotel ini terletak berhampiran Stesen Kanazawa, 5 minit berjalan kaki. Biliknya besar, katilnya selesa. Kami mengambilnya selepas jam 4 petang. Suka
PPengguna TetamuLocation was great, very spacious room. Conveniently located above a popular food hall and minutes away from the bus hub. Very happy with our stay!
RR ToroBrilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff. Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me. They really make you feel very comfortable and safe. Great location to visit Kenrokuen!
PPengguna Tanpa NamaEnjoyed my stay. Traditional tatami mat throughout and hence shoes are to removed at entrance. Only 5 mins walk to omichio market. I had a very good sleep and rest. The hotel offers osen, complimentary late night ramen and ice cream/yakult with manga corner. Convenient location where walking is possible to most attractions like Kenroku-en and Higashi Chaya District.
PPengguna Tetamufor this room, they added a bed for the third person which made the room super compacted and we barely had room to put our stuff/walk. Staff is nice but a bit overwhelmed due to the holiday season. It's very nicely renovated and fantastic but not really worth the price considering all the other hotels around the area. Also no amenities:(
PPengguna TetamuThe location is great it’s easy to walk to any places.
The bed is comfortable, but the arrangement of the room is quite crammed so it’s hard to open the suitcase and walk around without being tripped.
The hotel staff is friendly but they don’t seem to be able to resolve any issues. For example, the corridor outside our room has a strong bbq smell, and it’s even passing into our room. I called the front desk, they only shrugged and said that it’s because of the bbq store next to the building and the ventilation system so there’s nothing they can do. I mean… I know there’s nothing you can do, but you can at least apologize and try to do some amendments. Oh well.
Also, refrain from using the public bath here. This hotel accommodate big tourism group. Most of the tourists do not know the etiquette of bathing in Japan. Some people don’t wash themselves before going into the bath so the water is quite dirty and you might get sprayed on when walking past people showering. It’s overall an uncomfortable experience.
CChan, Man LeiI booked a double bed room, but they gave me a two beds room which they can allow me to pay extra to upgrade another room type if I want to have a double bed for three days, the staff is nice, just the arrangement is not so great experience, but the location is great, right next to the train station
PPengguna TetamuWe originally got a room that was smoky probably due to previous guests but the housekeeping did not do a good job of getting rid of the smokiness (take note the hotel is supposed to be non smoking I think). We called the reception who proceeds to change our room to another floor and they made sure this time there's no ciggarette smell. That wasted a bit of our time but a good gesture to change our room. House keeping needs to make sure to check room properly especially for those with families. Son had a bit of a coughing fit when he entered the room due to the smoke.
Location was strategic and they provide free parking in the mall parking.
MMagnus TanThe dorm was quite tricky to find on the sidewalk, walking from JR Kanazawa station, the sign was on a wall behind me, in the walkway leading into the building it was. One should look out to the left once you’ve reached the building.
There were no staff when I checked in late at night around 10pm, but I received an email beforehand detailing the guest forms I should fill up and some other information. Once I arrived, there were other clear instructions about my bunk, luggage storage and house rules. The entry area had several books and leaflets about the area and a map indicating eateries and sightseeing locations recommended by staff, a useful touch. Some of it were in English too.
The bunk was perfectly acceptable for a quick night sleep. The bed was wide and had lockable lockers to the side. Refreshments like drinks, snacks and noodles were also available for a small fee and payment was done via a tin box. Overall, very good value for money and it provided an opportunity to chat with other travellers staying by there. I chatted with someone from Taiwan and a local working at Kanazawa station’s tourist information centre. He was snowed in for the night and it’s worth noting that, it would be a struggle to haul luggage through heavy snow on the way to the property.
