Hotel berhampiran Kuil Miho, Shizuoka

This hotel really impressed me with its facilities. It offers a public bathroom, coin laundry, and even provides free breakfast and dinner, which is a huge plus. The building and amenities are very new, giving everything a fresh and modern feel. Parking is also free and conveniently available, making it easy for those traveling by car. With all these thoughtful touches, I definitely plan to come back again.

The space of the sleeping area was good and enough to let me have comfortable rest and sleep. There was individual wardrobe and TV inside each cube. Kitchen area was a little small, with only microwave and hot water were available. Shower room and powder room area were looking like the one at a public bath. But the whole facility was clean. With close walking distance to the shizuoka train station, it was easy to get amenities as convenience stores, restaurants, and supermarket was right there at the train station. I would be staying there again given a chance to visit shizuoka in the future.

I had a very pleasant stay at Garden Hotel Shizuoka. The location is excellent, with easy access to Shizuoka Station, shopping areas, and plenty of nearby restaurants, which made getting around very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing space after a day of sightseeing. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to rest. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were smooth but one thing that surprised and slightly confused me at first was that the front desk is located on the highest floor rather than the main floor, which is quite uncommon, but it was easy to find once I realized

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Grand Hills Shizuoka and would definitely consider staying again when visiting the area. The biggest advantage of this hotel is the location. It is directly next to JR Shizuoka Station, which makes it extremely convenient for both arriving and exploring the city. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, so everything you need is within walking distance. The hotel room itself feels a bit dated, but clean, and well maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable, especially compared to many other business hotels in Japan. The view from the higher floors was also very nice, particularly in the evening. The staff were professional, polite, and efficient throughout the stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and relaxing. Breakfast offered a good variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and the quality was satisfying overall. The dining area was comfortable and not overly crowded during my visit. Overall, Hotel Grand Hills Shizuoka offers an excellent balance of comfort, convenience, and service. It is a great choice for both business and leisure travelers visiting Shizuoka.

A nice hotel with excellent hotel staff. Hotel room is quite large for Japanese standards. Rooms are clean and quiet. Hotel is about 5 or so minutes walk from the train station. I was able to lug around two large luggages to and from the station and hotel. Not to far of a walk. Would stay with again, but they were fully booked. Oh well, next time i will spend a little longer in Shizuoka.

The room is bigger than the usual japanese chained hotel. The front desk staff are friendly. Public bath available with rest/entertainment space allocated at top floor. Night snack provided free daily. Close to the main shopping street and the Isetan department store. The only disadvantage is 15min walking distance from Shizuoka station, especially with large luggage due to the stone pavement. In general, highly recommended.

Service was excellent, there was a front desk lady who could speak English and explained to me everything very well. only instance where Japanese is needed for communication is communicating with the carpark attendant if you are parking in the hotel. But overall I would say I felt well looked after during my stay in this hotel

Much more than expected. It's an impressive hotel that I want to tell others about. The location of the hotel is not far from JR Shizuoka Station, just a 10-minute walk. The room I requested was on a high floor. I got a room on the top floor. Plus a very beautiful view. The room, although small by Japanese standards, is clean and has all the amenities. I sleep well Because there is no noise at all. The hotel also provides breakfast and coffee and tea. The staff provide very good service. Always giving advice and helping as well. Asked for warm water because I wasn't feeling well even though it was already past check-out time. But she hurriedly went to find it for me. Like this, it's a good hotel that should be shared and recommended.

It seemed to be the day of a fireworks display and was very popular that day. Check-in was done in one part of the coffee shop. We apologize when it is crowded as the general public also enjoys tea. The rooms have air conditioning, but the beds do not, so it feels very hot and difficult to stay there. There are no towels or toothbrushes. You need to bring your own. Earplugs were available at the washbasin. There is only one shower and one toilet, so you have to be patient when others are using them. I woke up in the middle of the night when someone came home and took a shower because of the noise. You have to cross a big road from the station, so it is better to go out with plenty of time to spare.

Free unlimited alcohol at bar after 6 pm is totally beyond expectation. Room is quite big, with large size bathtub and separated toilet. Very quiet from my experience. The room I stayed does not have a window, not sure if it’s the common case. But I’m ok with that. The location should be considered as the major concern. It’s right beside the interchange of highway, so can be ideal for self-driving trips. However, for travelers by public transportation, you’ll have to use the local bus service, it can take quite a while to figure out how.(For anyone who may read this comment: if you depart from Shizuoka JR station, look for bus No.71 or No.27, and get off at Shizuoka IC stop , which is the closest stop from hotel) Generally I do enjoy the stay, and the nearby region has a lot of restaurants as well as convenient stores, will consider to come back if drive by next time.
