Hotel Akai is a gem in Tokyo! 🌟 Located just a 2-minute walk from Aoto Station, it’s super convenient for exploring the city. The cleanliness is top-notch, making you feel right at home. 🧼 The staff are friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The facilities, including cozy capsules and private lockers, are perfect for solo travelers like me. While it’s not a luxury stay, the vibe is fun and laid-back. Just be prepared for some train noise at night! Overall, a solid choice for budget-conscious adventurers! 🚆

Tempat ini mudah dicari dan biliknya sangat bersih tetapi kecil. Untuk harga dan hotel sebenarnya menawarkan sabun badan premium dan losyen aliran bebas untuk mengambil di aras tanah. Walaupun penginapan satu malam di sana tetapi pasti akan menempah di sana lagi. Berjalan beberapa minit ke pusat membeli-belah dan kereta api.

The location is secluded and difficult to find. It is recommended not to drive there. There are a few parking lots nearby but the alleys are narrow. Check in by yourself and other customers explain how to check in (?)

Absolutely love this hotel!!! Highly recommend if you are a solo traveller. The location is not too bad as I bought the Tokyo subway pass so I don’t mind it being slightly farther away from the main area. The staffs were great, common shared facilities were so clean I am very impressed. One downside would be they do not provide water so you have to purchase it from the convenience stores nearby. Honestly not a big deal but would be great if it was provided!!!

Overall, I had a very comfortable stay. The property was clean, well-organized, and felt thoughtfully managed. All the reception staff I met were friendly, polite, and able to communicate in basic English, which made everything smooth. I stayed in a single room. It was compact but comfortable for one person; personally I think it would feel quite tight for two guests. Initially I was a bit hesitant because my room was directly opposite the women’s restroom. However, it turned out to be surprisingly convenient. The restroom was not busy, and the noise I expected from people going in and out never became an issue. Since the facilities were also kept very clean, it ended up being quite a good location. During my five-night stay, I didn’t sleep particularly well, possibly because there was a ventilation fan near the head of the bed and it was winter, so I sometimes felt cool air blowing toward my head. I ended up using one pillow to block the vent and sleeping with just one pillow, which felt a bit low. That said, the room itself had heating and was warm overall, so this may simply be my personal sensitivity. The shared showers and toilets were separated by gender and easy to access, and I rarely had to wait. Towels and basic toiletries were provided, which was convenient. There is a Lawson within a short walk and another 7-Eleven nearby, and there is also a bus that goes directly to Asakusa, which made getting around quite convenient. The walk from the station is a little longer than expected, but there are elevators along the way, so it’s manageable even with luggage. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay, and I would consider returning in the future.

The cleanliness was acceptable, meeting my expectations for a comfortable stay, and the room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. One standout feature was the washing machine available in the lobby (though it comes with a small fee), which was convenient for a longer trip. The location is a short walk from the Tokyo Metro Ayase Station, making it easy to get around, but it’s a bit far from the city center, so plan accordingly if you’re aiming to explore central Tokyo frequently. Given the price, I found it to be a fair deal and would consider it a solid option for budget-conscious travelers looking for convenience and decent comfort.

Ini kali pertama saya di Jepun dan di Tokyo. Saya gembira kerana saya telah memilih tempat yang indah dengan kakitangan yang baik, prihatin dan suka menolong ❤️ Lokasinya agak selesa. Anda boleh mendapatkan mana-mana tarikan pelancong dengan mudah tanpa menukar kereta api. Terdapat banyak kedai dan kafe berdekatan. Bilik-bilik bersih dan selesa untuk pelancong solo menginap. Tidak banyak ruang untuk penginapan keluarga saya rasa dan tidak mengapa. Pembersihan datang setiap hari. Sarapan pagi telah disertakan. Mereka agak tradisional. Minuman adalah percuma sepanjang hari. Terima kasih banyak-banyak. Saya akan datang lagi.

Perfect hotel for my trip. Kita Senju is a great location that's not overly touristy but still has so many great transportation access to all the ideal parts of Tokyo. I loved the neighbourhood and the hotel was just a 5 minute walk from the station and within walking distance to many great restaurants, bars, convenience stores, and cafes as well as a Donki. The front desk staff were so kind and friendly. I appreciated the evening happy hour which included snacks and free soft drinks and alcohol. The public bath was great and opened both in the morning and at night. Every type of amenity was available to have a comfortable stay. Would absolutely come back here again!
