Hotel berhampiran Stesen Baengma, Goyang-si

The hotel is good and a good value for money compared to the others. Very clean and everything works accordingly. The location is a bit remote but not a deal breaker….However, the hotel staff are definitely a deal breaker as they are very stingy and self-centered. I made a mistake and double-booked an extra room on the same day and pleaded with them to amend that, but they didn't….not only that, check-in is after 3 pm, but they start calling you at 11:30 a.m. the next day to check out and wants to squeeze more money out of you for as much as possible. The staff are low scum and I will never step foot in Wongheung again.

The hotel is located on the 8 Floor of a commercial building. It is just a minute or two away from Juyeop station exit 7. It is also near the airport bus stop for no 3300. The location is very convenient as there is a huge Daiso and GS25 and many other restaurants. You can also walk across to Juyeop park where I was fortunate to see cherry blossoms. The park is popular with old folks exercising and there are cafes, restaurants and shops like Olive Young, Compose Coffee, convenience stores as well as Isaac Toast. The room we got is spacious and clean. Basic amenities like tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, room slippers, hair dryer and bath robes are provided. The shower is in the same space as the sink and heated/electric toilet bowl. So the floor does get wet but they provide bathroom slippers. Whilst there is no kettle in the room, there is a common area where you can get hot water, coffee, tea, bottled water and biscuits. There is a mini fridge in the room. Do note the room does not have windows that can be opened, so there is no sunlight from outside, which is a minus. Service is good & friendly and they use translation app to communicate. The area is not noisy and not busy, which is great as well.

The Sintra Hotel is a small hotel. It is rather dated with worn out finishes and is definitely a lower end hotel. I would not stay there normally but the location is excellent as it is near Goyang Stadium. For one night is was serviceable. The attendants provided excellent service. They were kind, professional, and helpful.

Convenient location about 5 min walk to the subway station and some restaurants around. It is noisy in the room during the afternoon because we hear music from the floor below, maybe a club for elder people. But music stops in the evening. So no more music at night.

Whilst the cleanliness of the room and especially the toilet was good considering the type of hotel it is, my biggest issue was the sockets. I understand that Korea uses a different type of socket. I had my travel adapters handy. But the sockets were so old that 1) my adapter couldn't be plugged in tightly. So it was always loose and sometimes would even fall off. 2) it was super slow charging! They had provided a cable with multiple chargers that was attached to an electrical supply. But the typeC wouldn't work. That cable was useless. With the one socket that would actually charge at a decent pace, I had to interchange over the night amongst my 2 handphones, power bank and WiFi router.

Kakitangan meja depan juga sangat ramah. Ia dipanaskan dengan baik dan hangat, seperti lantai ondol. Air panas juga keluar dengan baik Keadaan pembersihan juga bersih Selama dua hari saya tinggal, saya tidur seperti kayu di rumah. Secara harfiah definisi ”nyaman” Jika saya datang ke Ilsan, saya akan tinggal di sini lagi.

If you’re coming to watch a concert at Goyang Stadium, this hotel is a great option to stay. It’s not far from the stadium—about 20 minutes by bus or train, making it very convenient to get there. The hotel itself is excellent. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with complete amenities. One of the highlights is the complimentary snacks and beverages, including instant noodles, which is a nice touch. Drinking water is also provided unlimited. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There are also convenience stores and supermarkets close by, including Emart and GS25, making it easy to find food and daily essentials. Highly recommended for concert-goers!

The room was spacious and comfortable, not cramped at all. There is a convenience store nearby, which is very convenient. I was especially impressed with the heated bed — it made sleeping very comfortable. However, what I was really disappointed about was that some of my belongings went missing. I had placed them properly in the room, and there was nothing to indicate that they were trash. I reported this to the reception, and the staff searched for my items the next day, but unfortunately, not everything was returned. If you plan to stay here, I would recommend keeping your personal belongings secure.
