CCarol K.F.Excellent location next door to the Airport Express train and bus stations. There's a well-stocked supermarket at the station with a good variety of locally produced items like chocs and jerky to buy home as gifts. It takes just a couple of minutes walk down the road to reach a Hop On - Hop Off bus pickup/drop-off point. In the evenings, there's complimentary water, tea, apples and toffees/mints at the spacious lobby. Very helpful frontline staff who provided clear directions and restaurant recommendations.

AAzmann BWe stayed at Downtown Camper by Scandic in Stockholm and overall had a mixed experience. The hotel is beautifully designed in a Scandinavian style, modern and stylish, and the property is very clean. Its downtown location is a major highlight — extremely convenient, with many shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance. Finding food or places to explore nearby is very easy. However, there are some downsides. The hotel does not provide in-room amenities, so guests need to bring their own toiletries. We stayed in a room for two, and it was very small, with barely enough space to move around or open luggage comfortably. The staff were not very friendly, which was a bit disappointing considering the hotel’s premium positioning. Breakfast was very good, offering a wide selection of Swedish-style dishes, but the menu was the same every day, which may feel repetitive for longer stays. Pros: Stylish Scandinavian design Very clean Excellent downtown location Many food and shopping options nearby Good breakfast variety Cons: Very small rooms No amenities provided Staff could be more friendly Breakfast menu repeats daily Overall, a good choice for location and design, but space and service may not meet everyone’s expectations.

SShanghai based coupleI stayed here with my mom who is from Sweden and is 79 years old but was travelling from the UK where she now lives. We were visiting family, both in and around Stockholm. This was an important trip for her, and me and we really needed it to go well. Given such high expectations and unusual requirements because of my mom’s her age, we were really surprised by how well this hotel delivered and absolutely delighted with our stay. The location was flawless and allowed her to see and do things nearby unassisted, while also allowing us to use the train from the main train station 5 minutes away to go to a nearby town, as well as within walking distance to meet her old school friends in a quintessentially Swedish coffee shop in the centre of town. Breakfast was very authentically Swedish, but it was a bit odd that they didn’t have limpa bread. Otherwise an excellent selection of Scandinavian food that was delicious and filling. The view to the Stadshuset (Stoholm’s City Hall) where the majority of the Nobel prizes are given out from in the restaurant was really charming. The rooms were spacious and finished to a really high standard. The service and the staff were fantastic, including Marcus who met us at the door and helped with out bags, as well as Hannah and George. We cannot thank the whole team enough for thoughtful and awesome work to make such an important trip so memorable, easy and enjoyable.

PPengguna TetamuI recently stayed at this hotel with my family, hoping for a relaxing break. However, our experience was far from what we expected. Upon check-in, there was no mention of any building works taking place. It wasn’t until later that we noticed a small sign in the hotel lift, casually mentioning that disturbances might occur between 9 AM and 5 PM from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, this warning was not only insufficient but also inaccurate. We were rudely awakened at 7:15 AM by loud drilling, far earlier than the supposed start time. When we went down for breakfast, we were shocked to find that the building work had already begun, well before 9 AM too. The noise and disruption made it impossible to enjoy and certainly not a relaxing start to the day. The coffee was dreadful, as another reviewer had mentioned, and the breakfast experience was further marred by the staff’s lack of attention. If you are lucky enough to have your table wiped, don’t expect it to be done with a clean cloth or any cleaning products. Rooms shabby, location however is good. The situation worsened after we checked out. Despite having prepaid for our stay through Trip.com, we were charged again on our credit card for the entire stay, 24 hours after departure. This has resulted in the hassle of trying to get the hotel to refund us from overseas and we’ve had to engage our credit card company to assist with the dispute. While Trip.com has done their best to secure compensation for the building work disruption, the hotel has been utterly uncooperative occurring to trip.com seniors. Adding insult to injury, we didn’t even receive a goodbye when we checked out—just a lacklustre experience from start to finish. This hotel is part of a large chain it seems, but it’s clear that they are not customer-focused at all. I would strongly advise reconsidering whether they deserve your money. There are plenty of other places that understand the basics of hospitality….. improvements needed!

The room cleanliness is also pretty decent with daily housekeeping to make sure the bins get emptied. Overall pretty satisfied.

The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore. The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit. Overall, I would highly recommend Story Hotel Stockholm Stureplan to anyone visiting Stockholm — especially if you want a stylish, centrally located hotel with great service and a welcoming atmosphere.

The kitchen was being renovated, so it felt a bit small for the number of guests. There were appliances like a rice cooker and air fryer, but no real setup for cooking with a frying pan. I appreciated the free food (like bread, milk, and coffee). The bunk beds had curtains, which was great for privacy. Overall, it’s a place I’d happily stay at again when I visit Stockholm.

PPengguna TetamuThe shower room very very small, no drop in the shower room floor, only a gentle falls, floors get wet easily. No slippers provided, good to bring your own. There’s no coffee tea making facilities, if you need hot water, has to get it from the lobby. The location is ok, next to World Trade Center and Arlanda Express. Standard Double Room size is ok for two person, enough space to open two 24” luggage.
