TTan69!What a wonderful stay! We were welcomed so warmly by all the staff. The room smelt lovely - all the linen and towels smelt amazing! Comfortable beds…..Breakfast delicious and plentiful, one of the best I’ve had. We ate dinner there on our second night, also delicious. Location perfect for relaxing but also not far from the museums etc, reception arranged a taxi for the Hell Fire Pass centre.
I wouldn’t hesitate to return or to recommend this lovely hotel.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel feels like it was recently renovated, but built to a “nice” guesthouse level rather than an actual hotel. My room was on the second floor after having to request to change from the 4th floor - with no elevator. The room was not very clean, hair on the floor and signs of mold in the bathroom. The shower had good pressure and hot water and the room was specious with a good strong air conditioner. I’ve stayed for 3 nights and my room was never cleaned. Granted I didn’t specifically ask for cleaning service, but clean towels and a top up on toilet paper would have been nice. They did leave 2 bottles of water by my door each afternoon which was nice. There’s a smart TV in the room (I never turned it on so not sure about programming) and a cute swimming pool outside. Breakfast is very basic, choice of 2 Thai pork dishes and some toast. If you’re a vegetarian, you better not count on this breakfast.
Location is very convenient. About 20 minutes walk from the bridge and war museum and 5 minutes walk to nightlife and restaurants. They have plenty of parking on a private lot by the side of the hotel. This is not a riverside resort, you don’t see the river from the windows, although the river is very close. Overall a positive experience and good value for the price. 8/10.

KKate7777Overall vibes and service of resort staff were awesome. Though it’s stated 5-star, amenities were dated. Space is big, gets a little spooky at night due to extreme darkness around the area. Knowing the history of kanchanaburi I couldn’t step out after 9pm 😂 No Netflix hence you could wind down and relax at this place.
If you want a relaxing place to stay, definitely consider Dheva Mantra.

PPengguna TetamuReached the resort late. Receptionist is fast and helpful. Have buggy n service crew to guide you to room, which is nice.
However, the room itself need much improvement. TV no signal, one of the zip to open the camp is broken, aircond control malfunction, we not able to sleep well at night because it's very warm, yea, the phone to call the front desk? Also malfunction. It's far to walk out. So we decided to just let the night pass.
Toilet need very much improvement. Water pressure very low. And shower head need a change, very old.
Breakfast wise is standard, not bad. Again, staff are generally great. Helpful with smile on face.
Surrounding view is spectacular.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaGreat location — everything is within a 10-minute drive, including the River Kwai Bridge, Saphan Kwae Yai, Big C, JJ Night Market, and the Kanchanaburi Night Market. The only downside is that the bathroom had a bit of a smell. But overall, the stay was nice. Breakfast by the river was really relaxing, with a nice breeze and live violin music.

CChris J HornBooked the Felix resort for a quick trip out of Bangkok and it was so peaceful.
Alighting the train from Bangkok I wandered around the little town. 7-11 and Rainforest cafe are right there.
Then walked across the bridge to the hotel. Be warned it's not far but in hotter weather it may be best to take a cab.
Anyway the hotel, is stunning the entrance is grand, the foyer is stunning and then you walk through the gardens to the rooms.
The pool is out of this world, lush gardens around it and after the noise of Bangkok it's an oasis of calm.
The room (I paid for a river view, which was kind of there but blocked by trees) was again out of this world, with a huge (hard) bed, loads of space, and massive bathroom.
Downside TV didn't work, but I only wanted it on whilst getting ready to go out.
I only had breakfast there so can't comment on evening meals. Breakfast was ok, as a vegan options were limited but the coffee was good and juice was cold.
Staff were great and so polite (like most of Thailand) and the drinks by the pool were pretty cheap.
All in all I would definitely go again to get away from the city.

OOrkidwe check in late due to our early trip to the death railway.
easy check in system, you just need to see the owner and can directly check in to the room. room is huge, bathroom is clean. has refrigerator too.
locationwise, walkable to the night market and to the Kanchanaburi train station. from Kanchanaburi train station you have to cross the road and walk a little bit deeper to the shops area and small alley.
however to go to the bus station, you might need to take grab because its about 2-3km distance.
