Hotel berhampiran Promenad Tepi Sungai, Kanchanaburi

One of the nicer rooms I have stayed in. Would benefit from bed side lighting and blackout curtains, as it looked like daylight outside at 3am. All in all, a decent modern hotel well positioned for trains, bars, night market food and the River Kwai.

First good thing about this resort is its quite big. You can spend a day or two to explore it. Second good good thing is you can actually view the river far from the room and can go to the river and can swim if it is legal. I am not sure about swimming but I easily dip my feet and water is very clear and warm. Its very nice resort. I will go back again when I get time. Now not bad but annoying thing is I can hear all the shouting and talking that going on my adjacent room. Also food choice for breakfast is very limited. I would just just say even 3 star hotel offer more food choice and milk for the breakfast where as this is rated as 4 star. Thanks

A very nice hotel. Well situated about 100 yards from the bridge over the river.  The cleaning is excellent and I loved the towel art every day.  It’s a short walk to the bars but you can get the scooter taxi contraptions just near the bridge for 60 baht.  Monty’s bar across the road is great and cheap.  The best English breakfast is Bo Jangles about 1km down the  road.  We did not try the hotel breakfast. I would recommend this hotel.

Overall vibes and service of resort staff were awesome. Though it’s stated 5-star, amenities were dated. Space is big, gets a little spooky at night due to extreme darkness around the area. Knowing the history of kanchanaburi I couldn’t step out after 9pm 😂 No Netflix hence you could wind down and relax at this place. If you want a relaxing place to stay, definitely consider Dheva Mantra.

Great place to breakaway from crowd. This hotel offers very peaceful experience with limited rooms and very quiet neighborhood. Although it’s pros and cons. You will find very peaceful environment without a doubt. Even fully booked, the hotel still feels quiet. Apart from breakfast, this hotel doesn’t offer in-room dining or restaurants. And convenient stores and restaurants are a bit far from hotel. However, considering the location, anyone staying in this hotel should own a car, and the location might not be any problem. Still, lacking of facility could make you bored very quick. Unless you are looking for an isolated weekend, you should bring something to entertain yourself during a stay. This hotel got no elevators thus plenty of stairs! Be warning if you are elderly or having knee joints problem. NOT WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY. Breakfast is good in my opinion. I’m Thai living with padthai my whole life and I can say padthai here is a good one! Oh, if you like to swim, they have an 25-ish meters sized pool. Very big for this kind of hotel. You can even swim laps for exercise,but lookout for family, kids and those contents creators might not like what you do. I am just being real but overall I enjoy my time here. Definitely recommended with some precautions!

I recently stayed at a beautiful hotel right on the River Kwai and it was truly wonderful! 😀 The location offered such a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. Everything I could possibly need for a relaxing getaway was readily available. It felt like the perfect escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. Booked the Felix resort for a quick trip out of Bangkok and it was so peaceful. Alighting the train from Bangkok I wandered around the little town. 7-11 and Rainforest cafe are right there. Then walked across the bridge to the hotel. Be warned it's not far but in hotter weather it may be best to take a cab. Anyway the hotel, is stunning the entrance is grand, the foyer is stunning and then you walk through the gardens to the rooms. The pool is out of this world, lush gardens around it and after the noise of Bangkok it's an oasis of calm. The room (I paid for a river view, which was kind of there but blocked by trees) was again out of this world, with a huge (hard) bed, loads of space, and massive bathroom. Downside TV didn't work, but I only wanted it on whilst getting ready to go out. I only had breakfast there so can't comment on evening meals. Breakfast was ok, as a vegan options were limited but the coffee was good and juice was cold. Staff were great and so polite (like most of Thailand) and the drinks by the pool were pretty cheap. All in all I would definitely go again to get away from the city.

we check in late due to our early trip to the death railway. easy check in system, you just need to see the owner and can directly check in to the room. room is huge, bathroom is clean. has refrigerator too. locationwise, walkable to the night market and to the Kanchanaburi train station. from Kanchanaburi train station you have to cross the road and walk a little bit deeper to the shops area and small alley. however to go to the bus station, you might need to take grab because its about 2-3km distance.

Very clean, attached bath room. Very good vibes around the campsite. They take pride in maintaining the site to pristine condition. Enjoyed the marshmallow bon fire, the sunset by the river, the chilly weather at night and early morning. Good breakfast provided, and we ordered Mookata for dinner. Will surely return again during cold season
