Fantastic hotel in a prime location, 5 minutes from the Bridge and other attractions, easy walk to a number of very good restaurants.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming and provide excellent information. I had an issue with the AC in the first room and once I mentioned it they immediately gave me alternate rooms.
The pool is wonderful to use, after my morning walk and also returning in the evening.
The breakfast options were spot on.

Excellent hostel, with good locations, there is a Parking space, the room was clean, the kitchen is shared separately, there is a refrigerator, microwave and everything you need (forks, spoons, mugs, plates) There are no windows in the room. They give you coffee, tea, and water.

This place is perfect in my eyes. The room was very comfortable, as was the bed and pillows. Hot shower, the staff are amazing, very friendly, welcoming, and happy to assist. The food at the restaurant is by far the best I have tasted in Kachanaburi. I ate at several nearby restaurants, and none compared to Nine Beds. They use higher-quality ingredients here. I stayed a week and will happily stay again if I ever come back to Kachanaburi.

Had a pleasant and comfortable stay at G9 Hotel Kanchanaburi.The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable hotel-style stay rather than a resort setting. The reception staff were warm, friendly, and helpful, which made the experience even better. Breakfast was pretty decent with a good variety to start the day.
While the hotel is slightly away from the main tourist attractions, its proximity to Robinson Mall is a big advantage for convenient dining and essentials. Also minutes drive to the night markets.
Overall, a good value-for-money choice and a great option for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a pleasant stay in Kanchanaburi.

We recently stayed at Sugarcane Guesthouse 1 and loved it. The location is incredibly convenient - right by the river and within easy walking distance of major attractions, restaurants, and the famous Bridge on the River Kwai. The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place felt peaceful.
Our room was on the raft. It was great to sit by the room and admire the river. There were the party boats that came by. They can be disturbing, but that is something the guesthouse can't control. So if you want complete silence, this is not the place for you.
The staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s a perfect spot for travelers who want comfort, great value, and the ability to explore the town on foot. Highly recommended!

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel feels like it was recently renovated, but built to a “nice” guesthouse level rather than an actual hotel. My room was on the second floor after having to request to change from the 4th floor - with no elevator. The room was not very clean, hair on the floor and signs of mold in the bathroom. The shower had good pressure and hot water and the room was specious with a good strong air conditioner. I’ve stayed for 3 nights and my room was never cleaned. Granted I didn’t specifically ask for cleaning service, but clean towels and a top up on toilet paper would have been nice. They did leave 2 bottles of water by my door each afternoon which was nice. There’s a smart TV in the room (I never turned it on so not sure about programming) and a cute swimming pool outside. Breakfast is very basic, choice of 2 Thai pork dishes and some toast. If you’re a vegetarian, you better not count on this breakfast.
Location is very convenient. About 20 minutes walk from the bridge and war museum and 5 minutes walk to nightlife and restaurants. They have plenty of parking on a private lot by the side of the hotel. This is not a riverside resort, you don’t see the river from the windows, although the river is very close. Overall a positive experience and good value for the price. 8/10.

IIdaTravelsWe had a great stay at U Inchantree. The room was ideal for a family with two kids, and the staff were consistently kind and welcoming. A special thanks to Khun Songkran, who truly stood out—both we and the kids loved him.
The location is excellent—close to the city yet still peaceful. You can easily walk to good restaurants, the famous bridge, and local museums. We arrived by car, and access was straightforward.
The food offers good value for money. It’s not gourmet, but everything we had was tasty and satisfying for both adults and kids.
We also used the hotel as a base for day trips, which worked perfectly. We highly recommend the train ride to Tham Krasae, Erawan Waterfall, and Safari Park Kanchanaburi.
A couple of minor downsides: we had recurring flying ants in the room (new ones appeared each day), and the movie night wasn’t very family-friendly—both films were quite adult and a bit too intense for children.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great choice for families visiting Kanchanaburi.

RRoushonul MahbubFirst good thing about this resort is its quite big. You can spend a day or two to explore it.
Second good good thing is you can actually view the river far from the room and can go to the river and can swim if it is legal. I am not sure about swimming but I easily dip my feet and water is very clear and warm.
Its very nice resort. I will go back again when I get time.
Now not bad but annoying thing is I can hear all the shouting and talking that going on my adjacent room. Also food choice for breakfast is very limited. I would just just say even 3 star hotel offer more food choice and milk for the breakfast where as this is rated as 4 star. Thanks

KKate7777Overall vibes and service of resort staff were awesome. Though it’s stated 5-star, amenities were dated. Space is big, gets a little spooky at night due to extreme darkness around the area. Knowing the history of kanchanaburi I couldn’t step out after 9pm 😂 No Netflix hence you could wind down and relax at this place.
If you want a relaxing place to stay, definitely consider Dheva Mantra.

Rooms are clean and well maintained, the bathroom need slight attention with mold around the shower unit but a minor issue. Breakfast was ok, cooked breakfast was cold but of decent quality, unfortunately 7am opening means that if you are catching the Bangkok train at 7.05am this is a non starter on your leaving day.
Overall decent place to stay, staff pleasant for the minimal interaction of checking in and leaving.

CChris J HornBooked the Felix resort for a quick trip out of Bangkok and it was so peaceful.
Alighting the train from Bangkok I wandered around the little town. 7-11 and Rainforest cafe are right there.
Then walked across the bridge to the hotel. Be warned it's not far but in hotter weather it may be best to take a cab.
Anyway the hotel, is stunning the entrance is grand, the foyer is stunning and then you walk through the gardens to the rooms.
The pool is out of this world, lush gardens around it and after the noise of Bangkok it's an oasis of calm.
The room (I paid for a river view, which was kind of there but blocked by trees) was again out of this world, with a huge (hard) bed, loads of space, and massive bathroom.
Downside TV didn't work, but I only wanted it on whilst getting ready to go out.
I only had breakfast there so can't comment on evening meals. Breakfast was ok, as a vegan options were limited but the coffee was good and juice was cold.
Staff were great and so polite (like most of Thailand) and the drinks by the pool were pretty cheap.
All in all I would definitely go again to get away from the city.

However, the room itself need much improvement. TV no signal, one of the zip to open the camp is broken, aircond control malfunction, we not able to sleep well at night because it's very warm, yea, the phone to call the front desk? Also malfunction. It's far to walk out. So we decided to just let the night pass.
Toilet need very much improvement. Water pressure very low. And shower head need a change, very old.
Breakfast wise is standard, not bad. Again, staff are generally great. Helpful with smile on face.
Surrounding view is spectacular.

easy check in system, you just need to see the owner and can directly check in to the room. room is huge, bathroom is clean. has refrigerator too.
locationwise, walkable to the night market and to the Kanchanaburi train station. from Kanchanaburi train station you have to cross the road and walk a little bit deeper to the shops area and small alley.
however to go to the bus station, you might need to take grab because its about 2-3km distance.

LLimVery clean, attached bath room. Very good vibes around the campsite. They take pride in maintaining the site to pristine condition. Enjoyed the marshmallow bon fire, the sunset by the river, the chilly weather at night and early morning. Good breakfast provided, and we ordered Mookata for dinner.
