We stayed here a few years ago and thought at the time it was 'okay'. It must've had a revamp since then because I found it had really improved. The room was laid out well to give plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. My friend took first shower and said it took a while to warm up but it was fine when I got in. Everything was spotlessly clean and we had a really good nights sleep. We arrived quite late and there was still someone on reception who checked us in quickly. It's a bit far out from the city centre but worked well for us for one night. Would stay here again!

I and my bf spent 3 nights here. Everything was so nice and fine with the price. English breakfast was always basic as my picture.
The great thing is the location, near museums, Chealsea club, right next to bus stop. Super convenient

I stayed at this Best Western for 1 week in April 2023. Good points: - Location - fabulous location, few mins walk to tube station and Earl's Court full of restaurants/bars, shoppes, cafes, etc. - Room - I had a refurbished room which was very clean and new. The bed was extremely comfortable, w/c was clean. I had no problems with room noise but I was out of the room during the daytime (see below) - Staff - very pleasant and friendly. I appreciated the front desk asking for my opinions about the hotel on leaving. Not so good points: - The hotel is still being refurbished. This means that the main lobby, such as it is, looks like a construction zone. Work is done during the day so if you are in your room after 8 or 9 am , you will experience noise until about 5pm. Once the refurbishing is completed this should be a great hotel, and hopefully will maintain affordable rates. There was a simple sign indicating the ”Best Western Boltons Hotel” on the front door, so it was not an official Best Western sign w/logo, etc. To make it easier for patrons to locate the hotel it would be simple to print out a large colour sign, with BW logo, so you can identify the hotel from a distance when walking by.

The location is wonderful, only 5 minutes from Earl’s Court train station. We booked a room for 3, asked for 2 keys but rejected. Since the reception closed at 8, people need to use key card to enter, our daughter went out at night whereas we stayed in the room, the problem was the room needed to insert the key card to activate the lights. Finally the staff gave us a fake key card to solve the problem. There was no replacement of shower gels making the shower without gels. We needed to get small bottle of bath gels from the reception. It was a bit noisy at night in our lower ground floor room. Good thing was the hotel provided 3 pack of biscuits for drinking the coffee in the morning.

This is a very nice hotel, in a prime location. As I was visiting for a stint in the National Archives in Kew, it was ideally placed for me between That and the super busy inner city. The rooms are small but comfortable. The whole place is squeeky clean, which was more important for me than size - I did not plan to be in the room other than for sleeping. The area is teeming with nice cafés tto grab breakfast, which I usually prefer anyway to eating at the hotel. The rooms could do well with a small fridge, even though I am not a minibar user. The staff are super nice and helpful, I really felt welcome.

The location was a great, very near to tube station. However, the station is not handicap friendly. Lucky the flight of steps are acceptable.
The hotel is kinda dated. Breakfast is so so, not worth buying. Not many varieties and remains unchanged day after day.
Worth staying is rates are cheap.

Fantastic hotel overlooking Hyde Park Corner. Great service and everything you want/need in a London hotel. We used the 25 m pool and there was only one other person using it at the same time as us. We felt the whole stay was one of our better ones in London.

The location is really good and quite safe. Service, really depends, some are friendly and helpful, esp. ladies in the restaurant. Some are just the opposite🙂
However, facility can be quite bad and it looks the oldest compare with other hotel in same area.
Do not choose the random room, they will give your the worst which is dusty and musty. When you let them know the door lock is broken and windows are cracked, the reply will be “it is normal, our windows crack sometimes. It is not a problem.”
There is no air-con for most of the rooms, unless you live in basement which windows cannot be opened. You can ask for a fan and you can get it if available and they remember your request🙂
My suitcase zipper was broken after living in one night, but the lock still working so nothing lost luckily.

First booking via trip.com . Very straightforward. The hotel was only a few minutes away from Euston. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Beds are very comfy and the room was spacious enough for the 3 of us. Late check out was a bonus and we could even leave our luggage at reception which was very handy. Would recommend and will definitely go back. This is a very big hotel and I was worried about noise level but we had a peaceful time.

PPengguna TetamuBe careful of being unknowingly charged with a ‘discussionary charge of tips’ (supposed to be A Conpulsory charge of tips, don’t be fool by the name, it is non-discussionary) AFTER CHECKING OUT of the hotel. I was being charged with a discussionary charge of the tips on the credit card automatically without being informed upfront after I checked out and left the hotel.
When I checked out, i was informed at the counter that they were closing their account for previous day and they would help me check out my room and email me the invoice of my stay after they finished closing account. As a result, I innocently left the hotel since I thought a 5-star hotel would not have anything gone wrong. However, I was totally wrong until I saw extra charges on my credit card while not receiving any so called invoice from the hotel at all. I then reached out to Trip.com to request for the invoice that they have promised to send to me and it was then I was informed that the extra charges were from a discussionary charge of tips. I wasn’t happy about the way this was done hence I requested for a refund for this since it clearly stated this is a DISCUSSIONARY fee, not a compulsory fee. However, I was informed that this is a Non-refundable fee and my request was denied.
Out of so many hotels I have stayed, it is unbelievable that in a 5-Star hotel, I was forced to pay something that wasn’t even being informed upfront. In addition, with the fee name suggested, it is a discussionary charge of tips NOT a compulsory charge of tips, the hotel has forced the customers to pay it as COMPULSORY CHARGE OF TIPS.
In addition, the hotel services were very inefficient and lot of rooms for improve. We ordered for an in-room meal and we were told that it would take about half an hour to deliver. Hence we waited, and until an hour later, there was no update on our meal and we had to make a call again to check for the progress of our meal. It was then we knew there was a delay in the meal. By the time we done with our meal, we made the call again to request for someone to collect the plates, we literally waited for more than an hour and had to call twice before someone came to pick up the plates.
This shouldn’t have been the service received in a 5-star hotel and the worst of all, the hotel should have more transparency in their charges and should have informed the customers on the charges upfront before the actual charging. When we signed for the amount paid for the meal, there were no statement on the discussionary charge of tips at all, and we didn’t expect there would be as we were not even informed.
It is not that we are unwilling to give the tips and we did give the tips during the stay. However, it made us very uncomfortable that we weren’t informed anything upfront and it was charged to my credit card AFTER we CHECKED OUT of THE HOTEL. It made us feeling very unsafe to provide the credit card to the hotel as they can charge whatever charges they want after checking out the hotel. In addition, it is a discussionary charge, isn’t it should be discussed before I was being charged? If not it should be called a a compulsory charge of tips.
PPengguna TetamuA very nice hotel in prime position for the O2. The room was lovely with some nice touches such as independently controlled speaker in the bathroom so you could stream music via TV. One observation would be the mini bar… ludicrously expensive and sensor controlled! £4 for a Kit Kat, and from memory over £6 for a snack pot of Pringles, I totally get the “convenience“ but this in my mind let the stay down a bit. Do not remove anything from it even to look as you will be charged
IIanOur normal IHG Hotel was nearly fully booked therefore the price was prohibitive. We therefore took the opportunity to try for the first time the Sutton Hotel.
All the staff that we met either on the reception or restaurant were friendly, helpful and professional. The Hotel has full amenities including swimming pool, and although we did not use any, except the restaurant, everything looked excellent. Our queen’s standard room was ok but there were a few marks and stains on the carpet, plastic cups in the bathroom, no box of tissues and few plug sockets. All these things are noticed in comparison to our normal hotel at Epsom Downs. It is however true to say that this Hotel had a very good restaurant on sight which Epsom does not. Therefore there is no doubt we will certainly stay here again in the future.
PPengguna TetamuStay was great until I found out they took money from my bank for breakfast I didn’t take. I stated at check-in I didn’t want breakfast as I was at work early the following day.
I called the hotel for a refund, only to be told I need to send an email to the manager and they would check the cctv to ensure I didn’t attend breakfast.
PPengguna TetamuOn arrival our needs were attended to very professionally and every effort was made to secure the best possible room for our situation by front of desk Rosario. She went above and beyond what one would normally expect. The staff generally were very friendly and helpful. It was a pity that housekeeping were quite careless in providing the normal little extras every day which we found annoying having to ask for them. On the whole, I’d go back!
PPengguna TetamuStayed here for one night, second visit. Last time when I arrived they told me I had been upgraded to a bigger room with a complimentary breakfast (that was with ***********), but no such luck this time. Room was a good size with a sofa next to the bed. Got a good night’s sleep and the bed was extremely comfortable. Didn’t bother going to the bar but instead visited a pub over the road and went to a nearby Wetherspoons for breakfast rather than paying £20. The swimming pool was great, not too busy when I used it, although I noticed people were ignoring the no photography/phones rule and one woman was even taking selfies in the water! The location is great, close to the Tower of London and Tower Hill tube. Definitely one of my go-to hotels when in London.
PPengguna TetamuI stayed this time before my flight from Heathrow T5. I have fallen in love with the character of this hotel as it really is a very good value. A little dated but I love that about it and it's positioning is amazing for plane spotters. You have everything you need and this time a couple of shortbread biscuits in the room with the tea/coffee selection. Thank you Thistle especially Parik and Mechell and the lovely cleaner who is always outside brushing up the fallen leaves when I see her! I will be back.
PPengguna TetamuI actually really liked the stay here. Simple, classy, hub hotel room. Amazing central London location. Steps away from tube station, we visited tourist sites in the area. Great for our city weekend break. The beds are superbly comfortable. I travelled solo ALOT for work, so I know what I like or not about hotel rooms. On this occasion I was traveling with my 3 kids, and the absence of TV meant they slept undistracted. The absence of carpeted floors, decorative pillows and bed runners, (that I suspect are rarely washed in other hotels) was perfect, as it means I didn't have to make sure my kids weren't touching any unclean fabric items. We were out for majority of our stay. So the lack of view/windows, wasn't any concern. No breakfast option, but we grabbed fruit for breakfast from Tesco express nearby. There is a 24hour cafe & bar next door, that is good option too. If you know what you're booking and what to expect, you won't be claustrophobic, instead you'll be pleasantly surprised. Reception team member is my reason for leaving a review though - he comp'd our left luggage :) I hope if Zedwell family see this they compliment his action, because he's gained you return custom and extra revenue, as I'll now book again due to how thoughtful and personable his service was towards my family, thank you. I've misplaced where I noted his name, Sherif(?) [Tall, young, South Asian origin]. Looking forward to our next stay at Zedwell
