Hotel Mewah di Doha

"All the hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. The room is very clean and comfortable, especially it’s also child friendly. Their pool staff are very attentive too. Breakfast is great with variety of foods. The staff at breakfast are very attentive to our needs and service is top notch. Kudos to them!"

"Too bad things to go to the hotel to relax then there are maintenance works - the room service man opens the door when I was sleeping - all calls transfer directly to the restaurant - There is no sound insulation between rooms -"

"房間較少的精品酒店，時值冬天，泳池24小時熱水循環着，反正能源不差錢，跟泡澡似的。酒店餐飲就比較一般了"

"I would like to express my deep gratitude to the hotel for the excellent service and wonderful hospitality I received during my stay. It was a remarkable experience, and I will be happy to return in the future."

"We had a very good stay at this hotel. The amenities are definitely the highlight here with a very nice beach, large outdoor pool area and plenty of on-site dining options. The hotel is centrally located in Doha and is close to the Al Qassar metro station which gives good access to many popular areas and attractions in the city. Check in was quick and easy when we arrived but I found we had a different experience coming into the hotel each night despite staying there. We brought some snacks on our first day without issue but then on the second day they made me sign a sheet to say we were bringing in food. They have a scanner at the door and didn't make me use it a couple of times but they made sure we walked through with our phones and wallets on the side our last night. He door procedures should be consistent. The room was nicely appointed with plenty of storage space, a large desk, a coffee/tea station, fully stocked mini bar and a very comfy couch. The bed was large and very firm with some soft/moldable pillows. There is a pillow menu at this hotel and it is recommended to call early to get access to the pillows. We had a very good night's sleep our first night but we found there were some very disruptive and noisy people in the hall just after midnight on our second night at the hotel. There is a pretty good phone service and once you call they are able to provide housekeeping, extra water or fill any requests quickly but we had difficulties reaching them on our second night. The bathroom was good with some nice bath products including body lotion. There was a large counter, bidet, big bath tub and a nice shower. We felt the water flow rate could be a bit stronger for the bath tub and it took a bit to fill the bath tub one evening. We have stayed at other hotels and areas in Doha and would say this hotel had one of the best beach areas we've seen. There were lots of lounge chairs, activities and some very soft towels. The sand at the beach was well maintained during our visit. The bar for the beach and pool area was nice and during high season they have QR codes by your seating area so you can order online and have food/drinks delivered to you. They have daily scheduled activities like beach volleyball and paddle. Near the beach area is Mykonos restaurant which is a very good Greek restaurant. We booked the hotel with breakfast and would recommend trying it out. Coral Restaurant was not too busy during our stay and the staff are kind, friendly and attentive. They make some very good coffee here and we appreciated that they remembered us and our preferences. The breakfast area has good Arabic and Western options, plenty of cheese, pastries, fruit, smoked fish and some tasty infused honey (vanilla, mint, thyme, spiced, etc.). They had made to order eggs, pancakes and waffles during our stay. Some restaurants on site take their IHG rewards programs for discounts and others will take discount applications like Urban Point for BOGO meals so it is worth asking in advance. We would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay with everything on site or want to be centrally located. We felt it was well priced when we stayed considering the amenities and condition of the hotel."

"I was very satisfied with the hotel, personnel, service and equipement. I would like to give a big thank you to Widad. He was extremely professional, helpful, and always had a smile on his face. Thanks to his great service, we truly enjoyed our stay — and we’ll definitely be coming"

"The hotel has a good location and the overall appearance, including the rooms, is nice. However, unfortunately, the facilities leave much to be desired in terms of functionality. For the price in Qatar, you can find hotels that are far better and more affordable. After staying for a week, I felt that my stay was not worth it. There seems to be a lot of staff, but very little efficiency. The room controls were outdated, and the iPads often malfunctioned, which made it uncomfortable to manage lighting and other room features. We reported these issues several times, but the hotel never addressed them. I also experienced frequent problems with water pressure in the bathroom. Room service was disappointing. Many times, our requests were not properly communicated to the kitchen, and the service was very slow. On the positive side, the room cleaning was good. Another important issue is the parking and valet area. Although there is a lot of staff, the organization is poor. This often caused traffic problems, improperly parked cars, and even minor incidents due to poor coordination. The pool was dirty and the facilities, especially in the relaxation area, felt outdated and poorly maintained. Additionally, my husband and I spoke with other guests who shared similar negative experiences. I hope the hotel improves these aspects, as the price suggests a certain level of quality, which unfortunately was not delivered. Kind regards."

"I had an excellent stay at Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay. The hotel is beautiful, with elegant interiors, spacious and comfortable rooms, and outstanding attention to detail. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The breakfast and dining options were excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality food. The facilities, including the pool, spa, and fitness center, were immaculate and added to the overall luxury experience. The location is perfect for exploring Doha, with easy access to West Bay, shopping, and the Corniche. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha and would gladly stay here again."

"فندق رائع جدا ..بإطلالة متميزة .. وفريق استقبال رائع من جميع الخدمات والرقي .. غاية في الفخامة والراحة .. وخاصة من مديرة الفندق الأستاذة نادية والأستاذ فيكتور في الاستقبال .. وأتمنى العودة مرة أخرى"

"We’ve now stayed here twice in the last three weeks, and both stays were great, which says a lot because we don’t usually return to the same hotel so quickly! The rooms are spacious, clean and have some of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in at a hotel. On our first stay we were on Level 6, which was lovely and quiet. The second time we stayed on Level 3, which was a little noisier at night, but it certainly wasn’t enough to affect our stay. We also really enjoyed the outdoor restaurant. The food was delicious, and every waiter and waitress we came across was friendly, attentive and provided excellent service. The hotel itself has fantastic facilities, with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from, so there’s always somewhere to eat or grab a drink without leaving the property. It’s also only about a 15-minute drive from the airport, making it really convenient. Overall, we’ve had two fantastic experiences here and will definitely be back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with great food, excellent service and everything you need in one place."
