Hotel berhampiran C.C.B. Centro Copie Bicocca - Ora Studio, Milan

Basic hotel with amazing staff, clean and spacious rooms. I was lucky enough to grab a corner room so I had a large view over Milan. Metro stop is just 3 mins walk away from the hotel (M1 Red line). Massive supermarket (COOP) across the road so you can buy plenty of food and drinks. Hotel also has its own small snack shop in reception and offers a buffet style breakfast. Rooms have one charging outlet 2 USB outlet (unfortunately not working in my room) Large bathroom Large TV

The hotel is well situated for access to the centre of Milan. The nearest Metro station is just 10 minutes walk away. On the positive side, the hotel is very clean, our room was very clean and was serviced and new towels provided daily. The bed was very comfortable. However, the hotel is dated and looks tired. The bar is large, empty and lacks atmosphere. The only food served at the hotel (other than breakfast) is mostly frozen. Breakfasts are OK but by 9am, quite depleted and we had to ask for certain items to be replenished. Staff are friendly but seem to be indifferent to the challenges. The exception was the bar staff (Chritiano), who was extremely helpful and provided good advice on where to eat etc. From our experience of other hotels we have stayed in, we are surprised at the 4 star rating. My advice would be to use the hotel as a base but stay in town for all social activities.

Francamente una delusione. Prenotare un 4 stelle ed essere deluso su tutte le aspettative dispiace molto. La struttura non si trova nelle immediate vicinanze della metropolitana. Ma questo è un aspetto che già conoscevo. Struttura molto grande con reception che non ti mette certo a tuo agio all’arrivo. Freddezza ed antipatia. Questo è il primo impatto. Un 4 stelle non può non avere un bar nella hall. Ci sono dei distributori automatici funzionanti con sole monete. Se si è sprovvisti di monete non si può consumare, in un 4 stelle! Pazzesco. Alla reception ti dicono subito che loro non hanno monete per il cambio perché le macchinette non sono gestite da loro. Ridicolo. Nella stanze, a noi hanno dato una familiare con angolo cottura, quindi servizio residence, c’era solo una bottiglietta d’acqua nel frigo della cucina. L’albergo andrebbe ristrutturato o perlomeno non può essere, allo stato attuale, qualificato come un 4 stelle. E lo voglio spiegare, secondo il mio modestissimo parere, con il supporto di fotografie. Le tende non sono mai state lavate. Sporche e puzzolenti. Avvolgibili che non si chiudono benissimo, con manipola per alzarli, visibili in foto. Sembrava di stare a casa di mia nonna. Televisione vecchia con decoder che noi a casa abbiamo cambiato da tempo. Il bagno è vergognoso. La descrizione del water la affido alla foto. Rubinetteria, flessibile della doccia, maniglia nella vasca da bagno (la doccia è troppo moderna da queste parti) pieno di calcare e ruggine. Tenda alla vasca, in un 4 stelle, improponibile. All’entrata, dal soffitto piove, l’impianto di condizionamento gocciola di continuo. Piastre dei fornelli elettrici della cucina completamente arrugginiti. Mi chiedo se non c’è un ente, un’associazione di categoria che controlla gli alberghi ed assegna le categorie. Il Contessa Jolanda dovrebbe avere l’onestà di declassarsi di qualche stellina e dovrebbe provvedere a dei corsi di accoglienza ai clienti per i propri dipendenti. Un cliente deve sentirsi prima di tutto ben accolto e coccolato. Se questo avvenisse, su molte delle problematiche esposte si potrebbe anche sorvolare. Pessima esperienza, da non ripetere.

Very nice hotel, a lot of space, but room, but a bit far from the town, I spend 50€ in the evening for taxi to get back to the hotel because public transport aren’t working till late, so at the end with same price I could actually booked hotel in town :)

The e-mail confirmation of the booking looked too simple, so I e-mailed the hotel twice for a reconfirmation, however no reply. Pretty simple room, rather hard bed, but I slept OK. Well cleaned. Breakast average, not possible to have a cup of hot chocolate. Receipt not possible to e-mail. Fair price, booked pretty early, just a few weeks after the prices were doubled

Very clean, great location, respectful staff—I can’t ask for better. The staff in the reception and the lady in the breakfast room were so calm, friendly, and respectful that I always recommend this hotel to anyone stepping into Milan.

Really nice place, comfortable, clean and affordable. Good location for public transport - 10 minute walk from Tram stop into Duomo centre. Staff were so kind and helpful- nothing was too much trouble. They catered to our specific requests on how we like our tea/ coffee. We had to leave very early one morning so didn’t have time for breakfast we asked the night before if there was anything we could possibly take with us and they offered a variety of biscuit bars and little muffins. They didn’t need to do this but were even kind enough to only charge us a couple of Euros rather than the usual €7 for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Milan again! Me hospedé solo una noche pues debía tomar un vuelo muy temprano. Recibí atención amable en recepción y me gustó que hablan español. La habitación es muy cómoda, limpia, con mobiliario nuevo, silenciosa y cálida (viajamos en invierno); cuenta con hervidor de agua, artículos de aseo personal disponibles en el baño y secadora de cabello. No hay botellita de agua en la habitación. Está ubicado muy cerca del aeropuerto Linate y cuenta con traslado de cortesía desde el hotel cada 15 minutos. Muy recomendable!!

It was such a great experience as usual very friendly staff and best service I always prefer Holiday inn for families very kids friendly

Planes are flying by like in every 2-3 minute, I hardly got sleep, but i guess thats the necessary price i have to pay, for being able to get to the airport on foot in 20 minutes. So I wont complain too much at this point. At other points, this hotel is pretty good, thx to the owner and crews of the hotel, u are doing a good job!
