Such great experience! The staffs were super helpful, kind and friendly. You can easily tell that they were happy to help out as much as they could for us to have a better experience. The room was clean without any visible dust when we first walked in, it was so obvious that they put their heart into what they do. We also recieved snack bag upon our departure! I will definitely come back to stay with them everytime i come to pingyao!

老闆娘晚上九點多了把我們接到民宿，提前幫我們開了空調，特別暖心。衞生也很好，洗漱用品乾乾淨淨一目瞭然。地理位置優越，出門不到一百米就是市樓。應有盡有！

LLoreeThe hotel is really amazing! The landscape and architectural design is somewhat taking you back to the ancient times in China. The ambiance is also good. It's a perfect place for travellers seeking peace and solitude. The hotel is also clean and the boss is really nice! Highly recommended especially for foreigners!

For the friends who have plans to play in Pingyao Ancient City, Amway: Location: Pingyao Ancient city is in the center, go to any place in the ancient city to play is very convenient Environment: The buildings in the inn are integrated with the original buildings of the ancient city of Pingyao. The photos are very beautiful. Sitting in the courtyard feels very comfortable and relaxed Service: Pingyao Railway station, high-speed railway station pick-up, very intimate; And the fundamental play time to help plan the travel route, to avoid wasting time when playing, all are one-to-one service, very good feeling, here feel the inheritance of China's 5,000 years of history and culture in modern young people It is worth it, recommended to Pingyao ancient city to play partners!

AArt13Great place in Pingyao. It is reasonably priced, a bit out of the very center (meaning also out of tourists crowds that can be quite noisy in the evenings and mornings), but still close, has same old-style design as the more popular and well-established places that cater to foreigners, but priced twice as much. Pick-up and drop off service is provided - just contact the hotel in advance via phone using the reception of tour previous hotel - no one speaks English - it will solve your communication issue if you do not speak Chinese. At the place itself everyone is very eager to help - use your phone app to translate. Onwer helped me to buy tickets to Pingyao attractions and Terracota Army as I was heading to Xian next (available only through WeChat Pay that is in turn is not availablefor foreign tourists as of April 2023). If you go to Shuanglin temple, be sure to ask to buy tickets through WeChat for you as well. I was able to buy physical one by pure compassion of local guard who asked the staff to open ticket office just for me (Probably was the only foreigner in Pingyao at a time). Please also note that as of April 2023, the reconstruction works in the historical city parts are continuing, so, large chunks of the city within the walls are not looking as great as it could have been. The very center of the city is mostly untouched though and you can still come and explore. If going in spring, be prepared for the temperature swings. I got a temperature drop from 28C to 3C within 2 days by the moment I got to Pingyao. It was even snowing at night.

CCecile1986The hotel is really nice and in the authentic style of Pingyao. It is quite closed from the east gate and from the ancient city center. The owner is really friendly, speaks good English and is doing everything to make you enjoy your stay. He did explained very well all the activity and provide help if needed. The room is clean and we didn't care about the size as we were out all day. If I have to suggest one thing, it will be to have bigger mattresses as they are quite hard but it's a personal preference.

___AndreaLovely hotel with a beautiful internal garden in the centre. In the heart of the old city of Pingyao and very close to one of the main roads where all the shops and restaurants are. The staff didn’t speak English (as it’s often the case in China, so no surprise) but they called a friend/colleague who did and she translated for us on the phone. Overall they were very friendly. I would recommend to make sure you have a translator app working on your phone before getting there.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel environment is still okay because I arrived late at night and the front desk helped me delay my check-out time. I had a good night's sleep during the journey. The transportation in the ancient city is also convenient, and the cleanliness of the rooms is also up to standard. Perhaps due to early booking, the price is more affordable. I recommend all hikers to stay, and I would like to thank a middle-aged female manager with short hair weighing 121 pounds for telling me about the folk stories of the ancient city!🤡

PPengguna Tetamu客棧在平遙古城裡麪，古城門口老闆就親自來接了。房間很乾凈，炕睡的也很舒服，貓貓也很可愛。客棧的地理位置也很好，四合院很有特色，離迎薰門很近，南大街還是燈光秀，都很方便。🤞🤞🤞 因為時間比較緊，老闆還給介紹了旅遊景點和遊玩路線，以及幾家味道很不錯的地道小吃館。非常不錯。強烈推薦這家店。🙆🙆🙆 老闆人也很好，不小心有東西落客棧了，老闆也是來來回回幫忙找了好幾天，最後順利找到給我寄過去了，包裹得特別嚴實。🥰🥰🥰
